I used to have a similar problem.
I suppose this could be the culprit as it was in my case.

Kinda sad to see that sexbound has so many features and yet not a lot of them are being used. I might get to making quests or something later in september if everything goes well. I am horrible at doing pixel art stuff, however I might find someone who isn't, to help me make POV mods for races n' stuff. But again it's not highely likely that I'll have a lot of free time in september.

Current sexbound actually has no quests anymore. They were removed as they didn't work.

starbound.logSo I'm just lost. I wanted to play Starbound and noticed that whenever I reach the end of SxB, I seem to get kicked out into space and I fall endlessly into the void. At first I thought "oh its probably the new mod I installed" so I removed it... and the bug remained. Tried new worlds + character just to make sure and somehow its still here. Even removed Cum for breakfast Juuuuust to make sure, only for that little bug to remain. I really don't know what I did to mess things up. :s

Sounds like you might be using StarExtension. This is a known issue with Sexbound and StarExtension, something about particle ordering. Alas, the issue is fixed in Reborn, but yeah, there is a incompatibility there due to how SE "fixes"? some code regarding those values, and Sexbound uses it in the "Vanilla" uncaring format, or some such.

At any rate, yeah, this one won't get fixed to my knowledge.

Hello there, surprised this thing is still active after 5 years..

I've been wondering how to change the success ding of the mod upon placing a node, because when I tried it just crashed.
The reason behind this is because of the Defeat addon. Wanted it to stop spawning nodes at each kill and keep the raping part so I don't die, had to set the timeout to 0.1. That works as a band aid solution, yes, but there's this loud ding everytime.

So if anyone could help me on alterring the sound, I'd be quite grateful.
(If someone knows how to disable parts of SB Defeat that could also be very helpful)

Hello, first of all, greetings, and before starting I want to point out that I speak Spanish and my knowledge of English is very bad, I helped myself by using Google Translate, which I must add, it is not perfect, so if there are any spelling or writing errors I ask for your patience and understanding.

 

I have been looking for a mod with the characteristics of sexbound for some time, but it was not until they recently added it to Steam that I found out about its existence, and I immediately installed it, it worked perfectly for all the species I have, well almost all of them, there are 3 races that give me problems when using it.

 

The first is the neki race, when I interact with it the character is left without hair or tail, almost looking like a doll, I am using the neki race with the nekifloof mod which alters the tail to make it look fluffier, I guess that's it. Does it have to do with me looking like a doll during sex? Could you help me correct that problem without having to remove the nekifloof?

 

The second and third races that cause problems are the nuu and gluut, they belong to the mod called maple, when interacting with them the same thing happens to them as the neki race

Welcome stranger, can i interest you into some wares?

So, to newcomers who followed the chucklefuck who uploaded the mod there and have no clue of it's features, modded races are not supported by default. This is intentional.

This mod uses custom assets/art for every animation, meaning that to support a modded race, there need to be assets/art for it to show up. Among some other things such as pregnancy/gender data. Becuase of that, there are:

1. ) Race supports, made to properly support each race in Sexbound.
2. ) "Default values", as in, every race that isn't supported will show up as a human by default to prevent errors in the API.

That is all. There are more things to talk about, to newcomers, but yeah, apparently Steam doesn't care enough the mods were stolen to take action, so they're still up, and i guess people now know this exists, publicly, on the workshop.

Just today I was entering because I had come up with some ideas to improve the mod and I found out after reading the posts, that it had been stolen and posted on Steam, now I feel bad for having downloaded it, and I have mixed feelings: on the one hand I like the mod and the comfort that Steam offers to install it, but on the other hand, the intellectual property of the mod belongs to you and if you intentionally did not want to post it on Steam, I should delete it, I don't know what to do right now

ah, I almost forgot, the suggestion I had for this mod: add new jobs for the ship's crew, these would be:

 

erotic masseuse... grants a Buff depending on the sexual pose used (depending on the duration of the sexual act will be the duration of the Buff).

 

incubus/succubus...impregnating or being impregnated by them reduces the birth time by half, they would be ideal for populating an uninhabited planet or creating a crew quickly, they are permanently excited. 

 

sexshop....can sell sexbound items that couldn't be found in regular stores (eg: golfen apple of discord.)

 

pimp...(I was going to name him rapist but it seems a little strong to me, feel free to use a better name if you want) would be the version of the outlaw from sexbound, you can use him as an escort and take him to raid a town, the behavior of This is to defeat and sexually subdue every villager who crosses your path, by doing so you will obtain pixels and from time to time some interesting object that you can take once you are on the ship.

You don't need to feel bad for installing a mod. The person using a product offered to them is never at fault. We can point blame at the guy uploading it or Steam for not doing jack shit about it all we want, but the mod exists to be used. Even though the version on Steam is by far the inferior one, as on Steam you will never have access to the mod's many config files you can use to customize the experience.

 

At least you found your way here. Which probably was your only option anyway considering the Steam mod doesn't even have any form of comments or discussions enabled - most certainly for good reason. However, as you might notice when looking at the main page of the mod here - it's been dead for two years. Can confirm myself the author hasn't been around ever since really, which is also why nobody is there to effectively take it down from Steam.

 

If you want a better experience and a mod still maintained with hopes for updates, you might as well check out Sexbound Reborn instead.

Well, I have a problem, (it is not the fault of any mod), it is simply a really frustrating incompatibility for me between Sexbound and one of the StarExtension functions... Basically the StarExtension dynamic bodies function (that is, character animations breathing, head rotation in the direction of the cursor and more) makes it so that when my character or others are about to climax during sex, the game breaks. This is really frustrating, I tried to play without that StarExtension feature, but I just can't, the character seems like an inanimate being. That's why with a bit of desperation I ask here if there is any way or if it is possible that sexbound and that StarExtension function can be compatible. They really could work together, they do the animations, but it's getting to the climax and something goes wrong... I was praying that this error wasn't caused by my 2 favorite mods, and in the end it was... If anyone can offer help with this I'd really be happy

I downloaded the mod pak and inserted them into the mod folder of the steam game, I'll start by saying that I didn't touch anything, I just took the files and inserted them into the folder mod. In the game you can see all the objects working. But when the character should start the animation you can't see it. Does anyone know why? What did I do wrong.

 

Then I read that to enable futanari you have to change the config file to "true". But I downloaded the zip and it's already set to "true".

This version of the mod is horribly outdated and the author has been MIA for a while. 

I recommend using Sexbound Reborn as it's the most up-to-date version with a few script improvements and several new additions. Any further issues you have can be answered there if anything goes wrong. Hope this helps.
