What rich visitors? The only ones in the game are caravan traders, and that's ONE PERSON. Do you even play this game?

 

Besides, when the existing state of the game makes the whole brothel-feature almost useless, it KINDA becomes your problem, because you're left with 3 options:

1. Do nothing and waste thousands of player's time, wondering why a feature in your mod barely ever works. Frankly, i'd call this malicious dev-behavior, because knowingly wasting people's time without informing them in advance isn't a free service, but free disservice.

2. Do nothing about it, and mark the whole brothel feature as experimental, explaining to users why.

3. Do something about it - either within RJW, or a quasi-required seperate mod.

 

As for affecting game-mechanics: Infinite money within a SINGLE FEATURE that cannot easily be exploited and is RATE-LIMITED seems preferable to me, than messing with the entire game-economy. I mean, hello? I get 2-6 visitors every 2-4 days or so, the usual prosititute price is 20-50 silver, and not all visitors are compatible, so that would be what? 30-50 silver average daily revenue per whore? My crafters make 5 times as much.

 

But hey, don't mind my logic: I'll just be posting the "less preferable fix" as a downloadable mod in a few days, since you can't be bothered to change a few lines of code.

2-6 visitors is 100-500 silver depending on faction and caravans usually 1000+

i dont see any signs telling that whoring would allow you to generate infinite money out of thin air

Rate-limited means it's limited by number of whores, number hookup-attempts, number and frequency of visitors, sexual compatibility, and if the checks were doing their job proper (they aren't), sexual satisfaction of clients. That's a lot of limiting factors. And if you consider "a single feature" "the entire game economy", i don't know if you lost your mind. Hey, those were your own words, okay? How hard would it be to have the mechanoid pregnancy check to see if a pawn is an android and if so not do the death part of itself? Not sure how to actually edit the DLL but wouldn't mind doing it myself if I knew how.


Just seems like a fun flavor thing due to having more compatibility between there bodies.

Hey there, i wanted only to ask a little question.

 

Last time i played with rimjobworld, i tested it like, spawn a few raiders and submit to test the fun part. The not fun part was, i thought, if someone submit's, battle end and everone have fun but after the fun part, the raider's continued to attack. So are i'm doing something wrong or is the submission to a raid not a "ok take what you want, even it's me, and leave!"-option??Because with the after-fun-funny's like pregnancy have no sense, if they alway's kill after the first fun. ._.

I've got a question regarding the whole 'boobitis' thing. One of my male pawns got it, and being a neolithic tribe, I wasn't able to handle it well enough to prevent permanent breast growth. He now has the "Furious about Transgender surgery" mood debuff. I didn't think it'd be a big deal, I'd just remove the breasts via surgery, but when I do so he gets the "Organs harvested" debuff, and the "Furious about Transgender surgery" modifier doesn't go away. Am I missing something here?

breast removal is another form of transgender surgery so...

 

anyway i'd imagine it'll wear off eventually, most debuffs do.

So I don't know if this was ever resolved, but enemy raiders/animals don't prioritize raping close colonists over searching out colonists to murder, even if the nearest colonist is much further away. Is there a potential fix for this?

Is it 'basic' that lets colonists do Whoring jobs? I'd like to setup a colonist to go relieve the stress of the colony, but even with loads of joy time, I haven't managed much success.

Can we please have an option to disable the new Brothel tab for people who don't need it?

 

Also are there plans to allow wild animals to mate and reproduce in one of the future updates?

The mod Wild Animal Sex and RJW aren't compatible, both add their own fertility stat.

Hi, just wanted to report that Rimhammer isnt fully compatible with RJW. A lot of UI elements, like brothel tab, or the icons on pawn including the info in the Bio tab simply dont show up with it enabled.

Someone there had a problem activating RJW? That it works, but after activating a specific mod pack he breaks and even if you disable all mods(Don't look at this comment that happens when the game owner wants so much of the game capacity :/) and activate only RJW (HUGLIBS and Age morphosis cells) he break the bills of sirurgy in the colonists? (Even with other mods or just him and the hugs or Age he breaks lol). I'm asking to see if anyone can send me the opost and the solution if it exists haha. Excellent mod by the way, keep up the good work and that's it :). i'm get some exceptions in my  lob: "XML: Could not specific object(144,155,166)"Colonist name"". Using RWMS to sort my mod pack

mating process is handled by rimworld, not rjw, rjw handles outcome of mating like pregnancy etc

tamed animals can also use designators, which allow them to have sex more often and not only with same species

Wild animals don't mate in vanilla, and that's why I was asking if you could expand the feature of mating animals to wild animals, please.

 

If you don't want to make it an optional feature, could you please give me instructions on what to change in the code myself?

Get the "wild animal sex" mod, although I'm not 100% sure if it allows wild<->tamed animal mating
