astor2015 Posted September 19, 2023 Posted September 19, 2023 Hey im having some issues here, the strong rubber hood appears as a grey mesh and when i reload the save its straigh up invisible, im pretty sure i allready build batched everything, its the only mesh that gives me this problem, any solutions?

It should be an easy fix and there are a bunch of tutorials for it. I spent nearly 10 real time minutes in the shop cell waiting for Katarina and Laura to finish their conversation and release me after being confused for Jade. It was kind of frustrating. Thank you. I love the mod otherwise. ❤️

It's okay for the first time, because there is the suspension if they really don't know that I am not Jade - will I be sold into slavery? But on the next playthrough, it would be nice if there was some switch to skip the whole questline - assuming there will be more content after you've dealt with the shadows from the past. If there's no additional content, then just don't ask if they need help. There are always questlines you don't do - I've even heard people talk about dragons, can you believe that? 5
Wubziz Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Hello everyone, I am sorry that I have to ask another question ? Currently I am doing the "Taking Control"-Quest, and refused to Kill Viggo. After that, I was going to recharge my collar and that worked perfectly fine. The next step was to go and end tie's with my 'previous life', so I headed to the shop. Upon entering I have found two dead guards on the ground, no Laura and/or Katharina. After a short amount of time (lets say 30s), Laura appeared in the door and talked to about how Katharina was kidnapped by Sloane. And now comes my problem: Nothing happens afterwards. I cannot leave the shop, she does not tell me anything new when I press the dialogue option "Can I help you with something?" (Wording not 100% correct!) I read here on some pages that this is a bug. I followed some instructions like reloading the quicksave after I went into the shop (Laura did not appear at all when I did that and I waited a LONG time). Apparently there needs to be a phantom/ghost to spawn and finish the dialogue, but that sadly never happened... What I also tried doing is spawning "master" as another NPC inside the shop. That was my first success because the dialogue continued up until "touch xyz behind the counter". I went behind the counter and saw/found the item in question BUT the container it was in was locked (?!). Then, I tried unlocking the container via skyrim commands, which worked, but even to I touched the item with E nothing happend. And yes, the item was highlighted and I pressed more than once. Even reloading the save file more than once. I need some help here please, I cannot continue the mod at the current moment due to that ? The journey so far has been very awesome and I would like that it does not end here.

Anscheinend muss ein Phantom/Geist da sein, um zu erscheinen und den Dialog zu beenden, aber das ist leider nie passiert ... Was ich auch versucht habe, ist, „Master“ als weiteren NPC im Shop zu spawnen. Das war mein erster Erfolg, denn der Dialog ging bis „touch xyz behind the counter“ weiter. Ich ging hinter die Theke und sah/fand den betreffenden Artikel, ABER der Behälter, in dem er sich befand, war verschlossen (?!). Dann habe ich versucht, den Container über Skyrim-Befehle zu entsperren, was funktionierte, aber selbst als ich den Gegenstand mit E berührte, passierte nichts. Und ja, das Element wurde hervorgehoben und ich habe mehr als einmal gedrückt. Sogar das mehrmalige erneute Laden der Sicherungsdatei. Ich brauche hier bitte etwas Hilfe, aus diesem Grund kann ich den Mod im Moment nicht fortsetzen ? Die bisherige Reise war sehr großartig und ich möchte, dass sie hier nicht endet. I have a save with the "Master" actually standing NEXT to me while I am infront of the shop and I just tried it out how you explained it to me. When I talk to him he only says "I missed you a lot my love" (or something similar). And when I enter the shop, who would have guessed, he is not coming in with me...

I know from various treads on troubleshooting Skyrim mods - that a high script load can always lead to - that the quest progress can stall. In the case of Laura's mod, this is on the one hand the scene you described - but also the return from the quest in which you were supposed to catch Jade and end up being mistaken for her. Now I can only hope that Laura or one of her helpers with programming skills will take care of her problem. 1

It was put on during a kidnap event from another mod but uses devious devices, i probably chose the wrong place to ask since that was the case but im safe not to break any quests. and yes I remove the the one with the key from the quest so im good there. I'll try the DD framework, thanks

I just put the framework on and i guess i need another mod. Only other i can think of i had installed was sanguines debauchery. I took that off though cause i didnt like it

Devious Devicess only adds assets I believe. Oh success, i managed to finally struggle out of my yoke. i'm good now. Edited October 6, 2023 by magickchris
