Bad Dog's Immersive Creatures SE

so uh none of the penises are showing up nor is the matchmaker spell even working gives me the header 
Creature type not supported *insert creature name here* 
i rebuilt sexlab in the animation loader creature framework and normal sexlab tab and rebuilt all my creatures i have the right load order and the right mods installed only thing i see wrong is on my mod organizer says im missing masters "skyrim immersive creatures" and "skyrim immersive creatures DLC2" but i have immersive creatures installed but this mod wont recognize it at all

figured out the header problem was the hentai creatures addon but the other problems im having are still there

common problem with the mod i've seen others talking about it in the thread i don't think there is a fix for it

Are the json patches based on races? If so, the new races have a _SIC_ prefix. Think there's 31 or 32 of them.

Not sure about the skeleton. I think the gehenoth was always kinda warped from trying to do a shape that was too different from the underlying skeleton.

 

Does anyone know, does SIC / MNC / CF run on AE yet? Cuz I think I'm going to jump the wall and go to AE, which means not supporting SE anymore.

Hey Bad dog, thanks for the awesome mod!

Could you launch an update patch on the missing texture of the feroucious ice wolf of immersive creatures? 

Or give me some kind of help on how to fix it or make it myself? I already installed the patch that some user made available to download in this topic and it fixed.

Thank you in advance for all your hard work ont his mod.

The only problematic requirement for creatures is jcontainers. It's been update for the current AE now, so you should be ok.

SIC now requires FISSES, and that is also up to date.

 

Just remember to set the game to only update when manually launched in steam after you update, just in case there's another AE update.

Hello! I'm having a probelm with the Canines and their textures! 

Seems like to just be generally all them except for the base wolves! I see the patch above but when I ran it, it didn't seem to fix the problem at all.
Any input/reccomendations?

Heck this might be the thing to make me upgrade to anniversary edition, it is due time i guess, 90% of mods already work for it

Well, not realizing anything had been updated recently, I innocently downloaded the newest of all these things on a new computer and they're working.

 

Can confirm the report above that SIC-added canines are having issues. "Ferocious Ice Wolf" switches meshes but has no junk texture. Pups aren't switching at all. Base wolves and Hentai Creatures canines are fine. Haven't checked much else because I got my skyrim install put back together literally just last night after downloading half the internet (100+GB of mods downloaded. Sheesh!). I'll come back and report any more I find. Much thanks for the work you do. ❤️

Did you come across any other problems with creature meshes or things not animating? I might try bad dog's mod here with the new SIC myself and just disable what doesn't work. Lot of SIC's new creatures are super annoying anyway, I really only want the dungeon stuff and not the overworld stuff.

Goblins are acting weird. Sometimes they'll use an erect version of the SIC goblin during a sexlab animation, sometimes they'll use a completely different looking mesh that looks like it came from a completely different mod. Sooner or later I'll remember to take a screenshot of that.

 

Durzogs don't seem to have any Sexlab animations, even though I keep seeing Defeat notifications about them having a go at NPCs nearby. I notice that practically everything from SIC now uses custom races, where they used to be set as various vanilla races (in the LE version anyway, I've never used the SSE version before now, so maybe it's always been like that).

 

I may remove it. I only ever really installed it so I'd have rieklings in Skyrim outside of Solstheim. I do like that it lets me have large packs of wolves spawn instead of just 1 or 2, but otherwise I'm not sure I'm getting anything out of it. I've always hated the stupid invulnerable ghosts and the hugely overpowered dreughs that spam lightning.

Ah, yeah I figured there'd be a lot of problems. You know, SIC has always been a hard mod for me to get working anyway, from causing constant crashing to destroying my save games on older versions. I've struggled with it for years. On this newest version I had installed, it started to annoy me and I was only testing a character to squash bugs, but I kept getting run down by hordes of weird bear creatures that spawned everywhere. I may remove it as well unless Bad Dog can get a new update up and running soon and I can tinker with it.

 

Have you come across any other 'lite' creature diversity mods? Bonus if they work with sexlab.

 

edit: I have uninstalled SIC for the time being. It gave me a freeze when I started engaging with a fight between a bunch of SIC goblins and some other creatures. Not surprising. Like I said, every load order I've ever put this mod in has been destroyed.

This problem isn't confined solely to the SE version. I'm dealing with the same issue on the LE version.

Okay, I'm back to trying to make this work on AE and I'm not having fun.

 

Right now the problem is SL isn't recognizing any of the creatures as valid animation targets. I have SL, creatures turned on, creatures (e.g. Horse) animations available. I hit the player's horse from Lakeview Manor with the Mass Matchmaker spell and then myself with the "self" variant. The horse gets the whirly magic effect showing the spell hit. Then SL (in the log) says "SEXLAB - FATAL - Thread[0]  - No valid actors available for animation" which I think means it couldn't find an animation for people and horses, which is, 'scuz me, horseshit.

 

So then I invoke a Hentai bear and choose the "Mate" option on it. Now I have an endless series of messages  from SL saying "SEXLAB - NOTICE: ValidateActor(Hentai Bear) -- TRUE -- HIT" which I think means it does have an animation--but then it never moves on, just keeps showing the same message over and  over.

 

Anybody recognize any of this behavior?

Okay, I have the basics working again. Now I need to decide how to implement the peens.

 

I've always used CF for that and on LE it works. On SE it equips the aroused peen but doesn't unequip it. So I have to decide whether to debug CF (again) or use a different method.

 

The different method would be to put a racial ability on the races that catches SL and SLA events and swaps the peens appropriately. Could also catch SOS's erection spell, cuz why not.

 

Arguments for CF:

  • It's been around forever, it's widely used.
  • Fixing it would fix it for everybody
  • A racial ability makes conflicts with other mods that fiddle the race record
  • CF lets you choose the peen you want when there's more than one option

Arguments for a racial ability:

  • Simple, no cloak, no janky form lists of every race and every peen in the universe
  • CF kinda breaks down when you're dealing with hundreds of creature types. Takes forever to load, a million MCM pages, JContainers gets flakey.
  • CF isn't my code. If I touch it at all it's going to be really hard not to rip out JContainers entirely. Not sure how Ep1cL3w7z is gonna feel about that.
