Even on 100% it works inconsistently. I've repeately bumped into people with no reaction, then accidentally backed into someone for a instant reaction. hit detection is spotty on this. I wish I had better news

Set the relationship to 4 and the morality thing to 3 that's in this mod if you potentially want EVERYONE to react to being bumped into. That might be the problem with this mod, these options..moreso the morality option. If you set it to 2, that usually means 80% of people in towns and public places WON'T try to grab you after you bump into them, as most citizens have 'No Crime' as their morality.

oh trust me, I've already done that. It's like hit detection only works at 80%. I was wondering if requiring the sexy outfit toggle would increase the effectivness?

No, either you meet the conditions or you don't.  It sounds like the difficulty you're having is with bump detection, and unfortunately that's beyond this mod's control.  If a bump doesn't register, this mod can't trigger.

Hmm...tried sprinting RIGHT into people? In my experience, that's the best way to trigger a 'bump'. Anything that forces another npc to move is a way to trigger a "bump" event.

I'll try it out. Thanks

apologies if you've been told about this, but this mod is apparently not compatible with Nexus mod manager.

I don't use Mod Manager so I don't know how it works.

The reason behind at least the latest version not working with Nexus Mod Manager, is because of the password on the archive. (Which in the description of the mod says its "BakaFactory").

NMM can't get past the password on the archive, so it simply fails to add it. In order for a mod to be compatible with NMM it needs to be password-less. As a user, what can be done is extracting the mod to a normal folder, then re-making it into an archive without a password. The mod will now work with NMM.

factory, maybe consider mentioning that if the archive has a password it won't work with Mod Managers under the "Password" section of the mod description so that others with the same concern understand immediately why? I think some users might find that useful.

I Figured as much. So what I did was simply to install it manually.

I installed it with NMM and works fine so i think he removed the password protection. btw does anyone here know if Slaverun mod works with this mod?

That's what the other guy said. I honestly only brought it up because I'm still new to NMM and was wondering if there was a way within software to bypass this. Truth is, I don't know if I have the software to compress files. Hence why I just manually installed it.

As a suggestion, why not remove the Dangerous Condition option?  I believe it's just a hold-over from the original mod.  But since it must be checked for the harassment to work, it's one more thing that can go wrong if a player unchecks it and then thinks that the mod isn't working.

well as long as you got it working then thats fine. btw I couldn't get this mod to work without sexlab approach mod and now everything works perfectly. both mods are made by the same mod maker so they should together :D

I've used NMM to install and I want to upgrade from 2.75 to current but...I can't find the mod in the list, I can only see the Plugin "SexLab Horrible Harassment.esp"  What is the mod called and why would only the plugin be listed?  Thanks

I cant get this work as well, I'm wondering if it's actually not compatible with any NPC AI mods that alter behavior. Speaking of which, does this only work for nameless npc or also work for named npc?

It works for NPCs that use most non-unique voices, like MaleNord.  Those with generic names like Mercenary are okay.  An AI mod shouldn't matter unless it specifically tries to avoid or ignore bump events.   Be sure that you have the MCM settings configured for the widest possible range of NPCs.

Reporting in, I got this triggered at least, in really inappropriate and awkward situation. I widen the range to make sure if it works, and it really worked. I told my follower to relax using EFF, and it actually got triggered. Got harassed by my own hired mercenary follower. In Breezehome. Wasn't expecting that happen. But I can confirm the mod is working.  Even with 100% chance to trigger, it's really so slim.

Edit: Triggered in a second time, this time in a more "appropriate" situation. I combined it with Dueling Mod so she could take a revenge after being harassed without making the whole world as her enemy. Quite satisfying.

In other word, this mod works (probably) as intended.

I've been running this mod for about 70 hours, and its only ever triggered once. :c I've got it on the most permissive settings possible, and even charging full-tilt into a group of NPCs won't trigger the lewds.

You might have to start a new game. Sometimes if you install this mod mid playthrough it has MASSIVE problems trying to trigger.

Hmm...if there's one thing I'd like to see about this mod is what happens AFTER a PC is raped. The NPC tries to run away if you escape their grip..but if your PC is raped, you and the npc go your separate ways,(I know some of you might try to kill or at least maim the NPC that did the deed..but bare with me here. xD) like nothing even happened. If it's at all possible, after the rape, you're left on the ground, twitching a bit after the abuse, kinda like defeat, with different 'on the ground' animations. And if you don't get up in time,(Probably not like a rapid pressing of left and right to will yourself to standing like defeat..possibly just a single key press after a few seconds or so of laying on the ground.) another undesirable person will rape you -again-, and the process could possibly begin anew. The rape that might happen while you're still on the ground would be tied to the cool-down that this mod already has. This would be a cool new feature to add, if it's not too complicated to do. xD

That would suck. :c I've got a lot of time invested in this character... Is there anyway to force the entire mod to reinitialize?

You could try stopping and restarting the quest SLHH, but I don't know that this will be helpful.

The mod depends on bump detection to trigger.  It seems more likely that something in your game in interfering with that, rather than a problem with the mod quest itself.  Across multiple games, my own experience is that HH triggers very easily, even if an NPC walks up to the PC and lightly brushes her from behind.  It wasn't the PC's fault, but I consider it a grope, so I like it.  It triggers when I go through a door and someone is standing just on the other side.  It would trigger when the PC and her partner stood up after sex.  (That happened often enough that it annoyed me, so I tweaked the quest to ignore bumps when the PC is wearing cum, just a way to implement a post-sex cooldown.)

Since it can trigger easily but isn't doing so in your game, take a look at your mods to see if you have anything that might also fire on bumps.  Sexist Guards has a dialog option for bumps.  I'm not sure if that actually interferes with this mod, but I have it turned off to be safe.  A heavy script load might be problematic.  Anything that alters the way that others detect, greet, or are made to move out of the way of the PC could block HH from working.  It might not be something obvious.  A "helpful" quality of life mod might be blocking this one.

Just a few things to look at to try to get HH to fire more often for you.  Also, the latest version (2.83) has an auto-correction feature to prevent it from getting stuck, if you're running something older.

I've got two mods which might be interfering with it, but I'm not certain... Spank That Ass has a function where a "bump" can result in the NPC groping, slapping, or spanking the PC. I tried disabling that function to see if it helped, but SLHH still didn't trigger on bumps. No NPC Greetings (using the "reduced" version) makes it so you have to be closer to NPCs for them to talk to you. It's hard to imagine that one being the cause (I do get greeted when I'm standing right next to NPCs), but I'm going to try disabling it and see if there's a change.

Edit: Forgot to add that I am using the most recent version, and I have previously tried to reset the quest. It didn't work. :c

Edit 2: Disabling No NPC Greeting did not help. The only noticable effect was that guards kept accusing my poor PC of being a pickpocket. :c

========================

I started a new game, and I still can't seem to trigger SLHH. Here, I'll just list all of the options I have set:

Harrassment Chance = 100

Escape Chance = 10

Escape Count = 12

Strip Chance = 80

SLHH3rdRepetitionChance17.000000

There. Those are all of the settings displayed in MCM. Does anything stick out as an obvious problem that would cause the mod to not trigger? :v

For people experiencing problems, use "getstage slhh" to see if you're stuck.  If it's not zero, you have a problem.  The only easy fix appears to be to use the MCM option to reset the quest.  This has the unfortunate effect of also changing your MCM options back to the defaults.  A "soft" reset option would be a welcome addition.

It looks like this was the reason the mod wasn't working on my new game. ><; Well, at least I've got it sorted out now! Lewding shall commence. ?

I kinda started to get this to work.... I disabled Spank That Ass which I saw someone mention it might cause issues. So bumping finally triggers now with Horrible Harrassements.. I got to go through the whole resist part of the mod until when I finally had to click the message, "I'm going to get raped.." or whatever it said.. afterwards nothing happened and the NPC ran off lol.. I ran the getstage slhh command which I assumed it would be larger than 0 finally and it stopped on stage 140.00. If that means anything or helps identify the issue.

That's the rape phase.  Maybe check that you have animations installed and registered with the appropriate tags according your MCM setting, which defaults to "Aggressive".
