I suspect the real issue might be due to the older OGSL version: 16300 which is SexLab 1.63 from around 2021. So I assume this is a 1.5.97 game? Could you maybe try SLAC 4.16 in a new game and see if the issue is still there? 4.17+ leans more heavily on newer SexLab functions that were less mature, and maybe less stable in the older version.

The bad news is that even with a different version, the situation has not improved. The good news is that I have discovered a second mod related to the current situation - CommunityShaders. When I use Shaders that are lower than version 1.47, there will definitely be game freezes, but switching to version 1.47 or higher, there is no such problem..... However, versions 1.47 and above of shaders seem to have undergone significant changes, causing most of the original old components to lose their functionality and greatly compromising the image quality. I really can't imagine the principle behind this, how these two mods produced a wonderful chemical reaction, but if I had to choose one of them to kick out, I chose Shaders.

Possibly an aroused mesh or texture causing issues for CS. You could try loading into a test cell and summoning creature races one at a time, then engaging them to see if one triggers the freeze or CTD. Make sure that Skyrim and all modding tools and files are outside Program Files and any other protected directories. Also check that exclusions have been configured in any antivirus and antimalware apps for the game folder and all folders involved in modding. Both CS and SKSE plugins that SLAC uses need to be able to read and write files in the Data folder. Anything in the modding tool chain affected by AV or Windows UAC could cause issues if they are blocked from accessing those files.

In my mind, if I set this to Non-Consensual or Adaptive, and a male PC invites a female Creature, and the creature's arousal is below threshold, then the interaction should start as aggressive. In reality no matter how I set up the options, all I'm getting is "not intereseted" or "not aroused" or similar. Is this even a valid scenario?

I guess I forgot to implement that when the option was added in... 2015... Wow. I'll get that fixed. The option should be filtering animation selection for hotkey invite engagements. The info text also needs to be corrected. Thanks for the report.

Make sure Skyrim and all modding tools have been installed outside Program Files and any other protected folders. Ensure exclusions have been configured in any antivirus apps for the game folder and all modding elated folders. Ideally, these exclusions will be configured before installing anything. Adding exclusions later will not undo any damage caused by the AV, so it may be necessary to completely uninstall, re-download and reinstall affected mods and tools.

Literally nothing happens when I click a UI row with the "SAVE" word in it. Not even in the logs. There are no script errors. I'm not sure why you would not be seeing confirmation pop-ups. Could you try using the Clean Actor options in the Help menu to clean the player? This should also use a confirmation pop-up. If that fails, then there may be an issue with SkyUI/MCM. I've not tested with Linux myself, so maybe there is some particular issue with that deployment.

Seems like a SkyUI bug: https://github.com/doodlum/SkyUI-Community/issues/121. They fixed it a week ago (merged on Apr 16) https://github.com/doodlum/SkyUI-Community/pull/161, but then reverted the fix literally yesterday https://github.com/doodlum/SkyUI-Community/pull/170 because it's so massively used by mods that it's a feature now. Though it's not merged in main yet. I guess you're supposed to work around this like everyone else does. Update: It's a SkyUI 6.9 bug. Downgrading to SkyUI 6.8 fixes it. I don't think you need to do anything. 6.8 is less than a month old, there's no way 6.9 managed to become a gold standard in this time. Edited April 21 by torenaut 1

If it was that easy it would of been done years ago. It is not always straight forward or possible to port some mods between FO4 and Skyrim. They might have both been done on Creation Engine, but there are a lot of differences between them...

By default, the creature dialogue option will only work for those that are capable of dialogue already - usually follower creatures. The silent creature option expands this to creatures normally without dialogue options, and the horse option will try to intercept the usual ride interaction where possible in order to open the dialogue menu instead. 1

Some of the MCM pages have a lot of options and can take a little while to load. If the pages are permanently empty, it would suggest something more serious. We would need to look at the papyrus log to check for script errors.

There is some expected debug output that is not showing up, and it is reporting a type error for SexLab Nude Creatures. The last reference to that mod was disabled a long time ago and removed completely in 2022. What I would suggest is uninstalling SLAC completely and deleting any existing downloads (so as not to confuse them), download the latest version again, then reinstall. Make sure nothing is overriding its files.
