I don't know what's wrong, but its section in the Mod Menu isn't loading. Even when I click on it, it just opens empty, with nothing to show, rendering the mod menu useless until I exit the main menu. I hope that makes sense.

If you are using any patches for SLAC, anything that overrides the SLAC files, try removing them.

Try setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1 in the console.

Otherwise, we'll need to take a look at a papyrus log for a session in which this issue is encountered, along with a mod list.

De lo contrario, necesitaremos echar un vistazo a un registro de papiro para una sesión en la que se encuentre este problema, junto con una lista de modificaciones.

What do you mean by patches? I don't recall installing any, unless you're referring to More Creatures SE. I don't know, could you give me an example of a patch? These are the mods that use SexLab in my list. Could this be the order?Capturadepantalla2026-04-03112554.png.30de26bee3919223d7ff34d5a6b4ea17.png

You do not appear to have an SLAC patches installed, as nothing is overriding the mod in that screenshot.

We'll need to look at a papyrus log to see if there are any errors being generated.

Sorry for the trouble, but I really want to try your mod. I activated the Papyrus Log, it generated a SexLab document but I don't know how to read it, here it is. If needed, I can show you all the mods I use in my list; perhaps one of them is causing problems.

We'll need to look at the papyrus log, which is usually named "Papyrus.0.log". The linked page above provides instructions on how to enable papyrus logging where to find the file.

That's right, sorry, I'm not experienced with this and the first time only that SexLab document came up. Anyway, this time the Papyrus Log did appear; actually, there are two of them:

It looks like something serious has gone wrong with the mod. The only time I've seen this before is when the script files were corrupted. This can happen due to antivirus, a problem when downloading the mod, or a hardware issue.

  1. Make sure the mods downloads folder, all mod manager folders, and the Skyrim installation folder are excluded in any antivirus apps.
  2. Uninstall Aroused Creatures completely and delete the download.
  3. Download the mod again and test the downloaded archive to ensure it is whole and uncorrupted (right-click > 7-zip > Test Archive).
  4. Reinstall and test in a new game.

Damn, you're right, I created a new test save and it loads the mod correctly. Shit, what should I do? I don't want to start another save either; I have like four. Are you saying I should completely delete it from my saves and then reinstall it? Wouldn't that mess up my saves? Thanks for the help.

If it's working in another save, without reinstalling, then something has gone wrong in that save file.

You could try disabling Aroused Creatures entirely in your mod manager and see if you are able to load the save. If you can try waiting an hour in the Wait menu (T), then save again. Re-enable Aroused Creatures and see if it loads correctly.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what caused the issue in this case. There have been a couple of similar reports over the last few years but no conclusions. This means it's not guaranteed that the problem will not resurface later in the save.

I fixed it :D. What I did was use a tool called ReSaver. I opened my save file with this tool and searched for "SexLab Aroused Creatures" using the filters. I deleted all the related files except for the one labeled "plugin." That's it. I saved my modified save file as a new one, launched the game, loaded it, and that was it. I did this with all my saved games, and it worked. Thank you so much for all the help!

That's Great!

Still, I wish I knew what caused this. One suspect is MCM Kicker, which causes MCMs to be re-registered on every game load and could potentially lead to multiple instances of the script events running at the same time.

If the issue crops up again, you might try SkyUI SE 6 (the latest update) which should address the missing MCM issue without MCM Kicker. It seems to be safe to swap over mid-game in initial testing, you'll just need to go through and remove mods conflicting with SkyUI that are no longer needed: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/articles/11836

Hello, great mod overall. But I've run into some issue, and I don't know what am I doing wrong. I play male character, and I wish for male creatures to pursue me and use all possible animations regardless of tags. However, despite having all tresholds set to 0, having PC sex, Creature sex and Allow same sex set to both and allow both, and having F roll with MC and F roll with FC, M roll with MC and M roll with FC set all to eighter, I am not being pursuited. My SexLab player gender is set on Female. When I use dialogue menu to trigger a scene, it works perfectly.

When I change Creature Gender in SexLab to female, I am being pursuited but animations do not play out and message pop up that pursuer is not interested in me.

The moment I use player.sexchange command to turn into female, pursuits works perfect and animations play out perfectly. Even when I switch back to male with command mid pursuit.

Do You have any hint on what should I do?

After a failed engagement go to the Help page and check the failed engagement lists. Hover over a code in this list to see an explanation and possible solution.

Enable General Settings > Debug and post a papyrus log from a session in which the issue is encountered. This will show us what is happening under the hood.

On it. In only case when creature is pursuing me while playing a male PC, both, mine and creature SexLab gender is set on Female than, but animations do not start. I get a line in "help" saying "There were no suitable animations with a male position for the creature partner. Install suitable animations, change creature race or allow Eighter role for male PC". As I mentioned, I did the last thing, and set all 4 "roll" settings to "eighter" to no avail.

First time generating Papyrus Logs, naver had this kind of issues that I couldn't somehow resolve myself and required me to generate one. Hope I did it properly.

Okay, I think I see the problem. Animation roll settings are being ignored during auto-engagement checks. The fix is simple, but the implications are tricky. I'll need to do a bunch of testing to make sure this is not going to lead to more problems.

Thanks for the log, that was big help.

I'm glad I could contribute even with this little bit. Thanks for the replies. I'll just do sex swap roundabouts while waiting for an update. Have a good one.

Hi,I'm having a little issue. I'm using expanded towns and it adds an new npc Squirrel, whenever an animation starts through aroused creatures, the game crashes. is MNC not recognizing him is the issue or what ? in Xedit Squirrel has Creature/Pray/Hare faction. For race MJB_SquirrelRace "Skeever" [RACE:0801027E], and ATK Race SkeeverRace "Skeever" [RACE:00013201] I attached the papyrus.

The issue is likely to be a problem with the aroused mesh, or trying to apply the mesh to a custom race.

They'll have more experience with custom creature races over on the MNC support thread.

In the meantime, you can block that race from being picked up in automatic engagements by selecting them (N), then going to the Aroused Creatures > Help and change Auto Engage Race to Blocked.

You have fixed animation issue, you are the best.
I have found that engagements not happening when location indexed as trespassing, would you also add that too.❤

When I load this mod, the game will suddenly have a problem of no response after running for at least a few minutes and up to an hour. At this time, the game background sound and music are still playing, but the screen is not moving and cannot be operated. I have finally confirmed that this mod is the cause after repeatedly disabling different mods for screening. Do you have any suggestions?

Any chance we could get a patch for this Multiple Amulets & Rings mod to still allow collars in it to be registered?

The whole collar system is kinda old and crusty. Compatibility with this type of mod is just one of the issues. It's certainly on the to-do list.

Turn off auto engagement for both PC and NPCs (top options in PC/NPC Auto Settings) and see if you are able to play for longer.

I suspect that this is an SL animation or a creature aroused mesh causing the issue. Perhaps an automatic NPC engagement is starting somewhere and triggering the issue.

A papyrus log from a session in which the Aroused Creatures > Debug option is enabled, and the issue is encountered, might help identify what SLAC is doing when it happens.

Unfortunately, even if the options were turned off, the same problem still occurred. During the testing process, I didn't even do anything, just had the character stand on the streets of Whiterun City. I turned on the debug shader and saw a flash of light on all the NPCs. After a while, the game froze. In addition, thanks to your prompt, I opened the Papyrus report and found the following information from it:
[04/17/2026 - 06:25:19AM] VM is freezing...
[04/17/2026 - 06:25:19AM] VM is frozen
[04/17/2026 - 06:25:20AM] Reverting game...
I think this is the reason why the game froze. I finally found the root cause, but I still don't understand what caused this problem.
