I'm at a stale-mate for another quadruped race, the Deerfolk. Albeit, they have the whole faye shape-shifting rear-end lore on their side, but still, the Butterfly position in particular is proving to be a puzzle and a half. Another thing to note about species supports: The position of the head is fixed, meaning that even if there is a fancy answer that works, the neck must connect to the same spot. This may change in a future version, but for now, its what makes these races so complex to add support for.

Anyhow, you are not wrong. It's just a shame that people wouldn't be able to legitimately share their supports, since multiplayer support is a thing. 1

Make it clear what your asking, maybe even mention its for Sexbound API, and show proof that you were granted permission. (Via screenshot, link, etc.)

We do? Is that public anywhere, or is it a Discord only kinda thing? I've been tempted to work on a few races here and there...and I have, but there's no real way of knowing who may be working on what, and if it's been permitted or denied without searching through topics. Like, there could be some kind of way where you'd enter your name, and put in a date, and you'd essentially have "dibs" on it for a few weeks or so until someone else can claim it. Not sure how well that'd work, but I'd hate to invest a lot of time into race only to see it pop-up shortly before I was done, which has somewhat happened to me already. And...yeah, I'd love to see some taur or oddly shaped characters, like lamias. The only Sexbound supported race I'm aware of that doesn't fit the usual body template are the penguins, and that's because they don't have a "head", they have a body WITH a head (I know you made the mod red3dred, I'm not directing the comment towards you). Monsters/Pets/Critters would be great too but...yeah, their heads are all over the place, not exactly doable with the current framework.

Yeah...I thought that may be the case. I wasn't sure how you had it set up, like if it was only editable by certain users, or if it was regularly backed up. I can't really blame you then, since it'd be pretty easy for someone to botch it all up. If I could get a link then, I'd be appreciative of it! Obviously, I won't tamper with it. I may save a local backup, since I care about it too, but I know better than to mess with it. It sounds like I may need to get access to the Discord pretty soon as well. Most of the activity seems to be on there.

That type of avali support is no longer be updated since the author has passed away, feel free to take hold and update it.

In fact, just copying the "body_female.png" from actor 1 and 2 is enough. At least until API 3.0 adds more positions and stuff. 2

Assuming we're talking about using the outdated Avali patch that was originally mentioned, it doesn't have the 3 additional positions that were added in v.2.6.0+. You could definitely take Red's version and copy paste the breasted one's into it though, and update the newer animations to have them. 2
