If you're using the latest AE, the trainwreck logger should work. Otherwise you can use crash logger se/ae/vr 2. That's caused by Live another life, not DCL's alternate start plugin. Arthmoor decided things for you and thinks going through helgen causes problems. There's a patch on the troubleshooting post. Or just go through until you're teleported out, then go back in through the exit and pick up ralof or hadvar. 1

Why can't you paste the .pex file into your scripts folder directly instead of using a mod manager? I finally got it to trigger. Simple Slavery still just triggers a gag, but it triggered properly once traps were working again.

One remark: The dependency bundle contains the source scripts from DD SE 5.2 (because I forgot to install them, when I installed DD). But: Devious Devices NG overwrites some of these files, so if you use them, you must put them between DD SE and DD NG. ! SeraSylver Posted January 4, 2024 Posted January 4, 2024 It would be nice if there was an alternative to the pet suit, using the paw mittens and the pet suit leg parts, with an alteration to the crawling animation to be more upright. It would also be nice if the pet suit had a mechanic that made it more likely that creatures would rape the one locked in the pet suit. It would also be a nice addition to have more gag options, like different sizes of ring gags and ball gags, as well as rope hobbles for the ankles and thighs that function like the ankle chains and fetters. I'd also appreciate being able to wear an elbowbinder under an arm binder, and wear multiple gags like the damsel in distress quest. I'd love to be able to buy furniture traps to set up in player homes or in the holds where you're thane, and it would be nice to be able to keep the slave set.

And I can confirm that Simple Slavery does just trigger the gag when it selects the Rubber Doll quest. They're not all bugged though; I tried Cursed Collar, and it worked fine.

I only see the changed PSC and PEX files. It could be hard for Kimy to add the changes to her own latest version, unless there is some file comparison tool to use. But that adds extra work. FromMindoir Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 Okay, a glitch (I think) I encountered that is a bit annoying: I've been trying the "Captured Princess" LAL start, and for some reason one of the bodies appears extremely far away from the cart (as in next to Riften), and since I can't find the key on those that are around, well, I assume it's there. It doesn't happen all the time (sometimes the key is on the very first body you pop next to), but when it does...well, it's fun to be in a straightjacket but here I think I'm looking at 3-4 hours of it at the very least.

Make sure you don't have any mods that clean up dead bodies, and make sure you have the latest FSMP version. Other than that, not much to do, it can just be skyrim being skyrim.

In the LE thread they said "In Cursed Loot, you have to restrain the surrendered enemies and order them to follow you." Is this using the combat surrender? Will I need to disable Defeat to try this? Do I need cursed loot devices to restrain them or is it automatic? I'm looking forward to getting a little payback for being tied up so often.

I actually felt this at first too, but it's a random chance on top of needing to have a high enough arousal. Not seeing it in MCM might have been an installation error for you, I remember having to wait a few minutes for it to install and be added to MCM when I started so could be that too. After waiting a while, see if it gets added and when it does just go about normally and it'll definitely eventually happen. Do the other functions work, like running around naked gets you arrested/raped?

The combat surrender needs to be turned on to capture NPC's, but yes it is also a defeat feature for player and you should disable Defeat and similar mods if you use it. But it's probably a few years since i last tried it, and then turned off because of how buggy it was. Try without restraints first and see what options it shows you, i cannot remember that part. There's a book in the Winterhold library that lets you learn some crafting recipes for DD, if you can't craft them without. The bugs you might encounter are about evil NPC's showing up in the Riverwood where you need to deliver them and then engaging in combat with guards and civilians, maybe it won't happen for you? He will give book for teleports. 5) Capture NPC: there is 3 ways to do it: *) NPC surrender randomly if HP is low (see DCL MCM NPC combat surrender settings) (see explanation later) *) Get Dollmaker Sword (it's reward from some quest from Dollmaker if remember correct) Hits with him have chance to apply restraints and NPC surrender (see explanation later) Note: if you are best enchanter, you can take off enchantment from sword (it will destroyed and put it on other weapon with 100% chance to hit. *) buy from Dollmaker spell (name be written later). When you use this spell NPC surrender with first hit. (see explanation later) Explanation: Note: When hit is applied to surrender there is script lag, while scripts aplies restraints and prepare NPC to surrender. So there is need to be careful. Any next hit in that process angry NPC again and she not surrender anymore. But at scripts resolve she be tied up and continue fighting in this way. So what we can do: ) Outcome 1 (random) - hope that we not hit again and NPC surrender -most terrible chance. Outcome 2 - (dollmaker sword) Hit NPC one time and wait if she turn into restraints. If not hit again. Outcome 3: (dollmaker spell) - 100% chance. Hit NPC with spell and not attack it. If miss hit again. Wait while she is prepared for slavery. Note2: If you have followers - it will continue fight with captured enemies, while scripts is applied and stops, when it done. So in that process you need keep away followers from this NPC. Note3: only NPC women's can be captured. Also spell works on women guards in cities and not agro it. But it can't be sell to Slave trader. When script resolves (NPC is tied up), interact with tied up NPC and there is new menus. There is different outcomes (i let you test those myself) You need choose NPC follow you (for sell) 6) Open and read Slave trader book. You will be teleported to Riverwood inn and hope that there is day and trader is there) 7) Inn NPC will start attack your captured NPC. Follow Slave trader and wait while captured NPC is knock out. As it happen, fast speak with Slave trader and sell NPC. If have no time - wait for next captured NPC knock out. 8 ) Open Slave trader book and read it again. If it's not showing up: Kimy DCL MCM initialization: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/33986-deviously-cursed-loot-v85-2020-03-24/?do=findComment&comment=3205086 1. Start a new game. 2. Wait 30 secs, or not at all. It's really just telling Skyrim that you MEAN it. Or so. 3. Quit to menu. 4. Start another new game. 5. Enjoy. If you're adding it to an existing game that never had DCL, install DD first and make sure it's initialized and shows up in the MCM. Save your game and exit, then enable DCL. Wait a few seconds and you should see that DCL is initialized in the top right messages. In the MCM, it's under "cursed loot"
