DD Lore patch is ok, as long as they updated it to the new one where the lore patch was fixed for 5.2. The old patch was the one breaking things.

 

DD Hider rework is from the DD NG discord. It should mean they have DD NG, and the discord version of Unforgiving Devices. UD 3.x requires this for the older versions of DD NG. 

The NG team is working redoing the device hider as a native function in the DLL.

 

DD - I4 is an icon patch for Inventory Interface Icon Injector (aka I4).  DD I4 should be this mod.

Okay im not sure where i messed up, but im fairly certain my load order is slightly wrong but i can't see where. when launching an old save things work fine, but saving then trying to load that causes DD to freak out and give device hider issues. starting a new game just gives a perma black screen. been staring at this for a bit and i feel like im just blinding over the issue at this point

Im a bit stump tho, since i haven't changed the load order since i last played, and even disabling the few mods i put in since the last time i played left me with the error still, any insight?

 

What I did note is that the DD SE patch is active - what version of DD NG are you on? 
I assume since you have the hider rework, you're in the NG. If you have DD NG 0.3.x then you should have removed the DD SE patch.

And if you have DD NG 0.3.3, then device hider rework is redundant and should be removed.

 

You also have the Lore patch before Lore though, so you should either move that below Lore or remove it entirely.

You have the DCL BRRF patch after the UD DCL patch - these patches should be after all other DD patches for the mods they're patching. Move them down to the bottom with the other UD patches.

 

I would actually take this over to ponz and ihmk on the discord since the device hider issues could be related to the DD NG and UD work and there might be other things I'm missing.

 

And finally, you might need to think about removing some things and seeing if your list is just too large now for your pc to handle.

Or even doing a staggered load for new games to limit the number of scripts firing at once. Basically, cut your load order in half, start, wait for the messages to stop. save and exit, then enable the rest of your mods.

DD Hider rework is from the DD NG discord. It should mean they have DD NG, and the discord version of Unforgiving Devices. UD 3.x requires this for the older versions of DD NG.

Yea ik its getting a little long, i tend to just add things as i see them. ill trim some of the mods later and fix the load order and see if that fixes things, if its still busted ill see if the discord t can give a hand. thanks for the help!

For some reason looting non-human NPCs or harvesting most plants isn't triggering any DCL events. I've turned on the debug features as well and they don't even log. I've only had them log for human NPCs, chests, barrels and ores. Is there a way to fix this?

Level up. Events are suspended for the first few levels.

Or if you're above level 5, make sure you don't have an active DCL quest running. You can check in the mcm under the debug section.

Arousal also effects it A LOT. I ran into not triggering DCL events because of low arousal many times. For a while, I though DCL was broken

So i installed Deviously accessible and after the first quest, I was getting hit every 2 minutes 🙃 😂

when i was completing the chloe quest, it was stuck on opening nazeem's box stage. the box is shown correctly but i just cannot open it and no E button is shown on the box.

and when i tried to type 'setstage dcur_chloequest xxx', any number didnt work until 1000. but set it to 1000 just simply skip entire quest, not a stage.

does anyone know how to skip exactly one stage step of the quest, or is there anyway to fix the bug?

try crouching. it's going to be a stolen item, so if you have something to block stealing, that would be why.

Judging from the strange UI alone, you have likely some conflicting mod.

you can change the flag from essential to protected. protected NPCs can only be killed by the player. Doing so may break your game, so you do that at your own risk.

So, there is a dialogue option that say something like "Help, I can't eat with my hands tied." But is there an option (or a separate mod) that makes it so I actually can't eat while tied? Or is it just for roleplay.

Actually DCL says that you can't eat with gag inside, but it's done because are some mods what, if you not eat, you die. So DCL gives chance not die, when you are tied up.

Yeah I'm level 16 (also double checked the MCM level limit) and the debug page says there's no active quest. My chance is 5% and I've played around with it. Maybe I'm just suuuuper unlucky for 100+ triggers, but it does seem to trigger (just too often) when the chance is above 25%, but just not below.

I've also had a high arousal as per my MCM setup (+25%) and I've got the debug notifications on so I can monitor what's going on. It just always says something along the lines of 'no trap found' or something like that.

 

It's odd, but I'm going to try starting a new game and seeing if it clears up.

Hmm, it makes sense from the gameplay perspective. However the little nerd inside me is screaming internally, because having to ask for help while tied up seems logical, but asking for help while gagged? What is the person supposed to do about that, when your mouth is blocked? Haha.

 

Anyway, it sounds like a nice addition to not be able to eat while tied up, so if anyone knows a mod that does something like that, let me know.

Is it possible to have custom restraints be locked onto you through DCL events? Like, I created a DD restraints version of Audhol's Celene costume mod and thought it would be cool if they could appear in the world and lock themselves onto me. Would I need to edit a certain list for that to happen or what?

That sounds like a setting for NPC or guard dialogs? If you mean devious traps there is a separate page in MCM for those chances. Please be more specific in what you mean and DCL's MCM is huge.

I don't think so. You'd need to edit scripts I believe.

Pick a racemenu. are you ae or vr?

You get that message when your racemenu is not working properly, or something has reverted DD/DCL's scripts to the LE version.

Also make sure nothing is overwriting DD or DCL., except each other.

If you have DD NG, that also is ok. Just no separate script patches
