Hello!

And welcome back to the land of Skyrim. Today, we're rejoining Alma, our lovely, and very... loving alchemist. If you recall, around a year ago she botched a lust potion she was brewing for Maven Black-briar in Riften. After testing the mixture on herself, she found it worked a little too well. Now, nearly a year later, she's searching for the proper ingredients to brew an antidote to the insatiable lust she's been living with. We met up with Alma in Whiterun, where she'd taken the bard, Mikael, up to her room. Upon hearing of this Ysolda, a local aspiring merchant, became incensed.

Until I get around to updating my Table of Contents to include Alma, her previous chapter can be found here: Prologue.

We join Alma and Lydia now...

As always, I hope you enjoyed. ?

February has been kind of a rough month, and given time constraints and the fact that Thora and Aza (Who will be returning as soon as I finish up Alma's little opening arc) tend to have longer chapters has factored into my decision to keep Alma's chapters shorter and treat it more like a serialized, comic book story. Should my time open up in the future, I might do longer chapters with her, but for now, the shorter ones work better for me.

Fun fact: This chapter probably has more unused, and alternate screens than any other chapter I've done...

Thank you so much for reading!

Lexi ❤️

Nice Work reading definitely gave me that sitcom feel... x-rated sitcom. :heart:;)

Thanks Jay! ?

Glad you enjoyed it. I'd never drawn a comparison between Alma's tale and a sitcom... until I read your comment. Now I can seriously imagine some tacky laugh track playing after certain lines when I reread it! (And I can't stop it! ) So, I suppose thank you for that too! ? ? ❤️

I am getting way more enjoyment and chuckles out of Alma's misfortune than I should be admitting to.  But it's just so, so entertaining to watch how she interacts with others and deals with her own (temporary?) potion-related issues. ?

I absolutely love the vulgar side of Lydia.  It is so unlike her, which makes it even more hilarious. But also the poor girl seems to be sick (or at least has some troubling condition which Alma helps her with).  I hope it's nothing too serious. ?  Even vulgar Lydia is too precious and must be protected at all costs!

Your attention to detail in the screenshots is, as always, remarkable. The dinner scene with characters actually using utensils,  the mead accident recovery (with the rag), and even the auction part (with character positioning) - all flow very naturally.

Alma definitely has a very active imagination.  I'm really looking forward to seeing where her fantasy takes her as well as her meeting with Carth.  I think it's safe to assume that Lydia will be a darling and will introduce those two, right? Right? ?

Absolutely lovely work! Can't wait for more! ?

Praise the divines, it's not that same boring ass Lydia replacer 87.456% of people use! And you even managed to work slavery stuff in in an interesting way, that might be a blog section first ?

I know you mentioned working on the text size stuff in the last chapter but I still found this one extremely difficult to read on a smaller laptop screen. People on phones are done for ?. I'd crank that font size up a few more notches. On the subject of 4k images I notices that even as jpegs your pics are still pretty huge as far as file size. It's not a massive deal on shorter entries like this but on the longer ones I've definitely noticed pretty bad load times. Lately I've been resizing my images down to 1920x1080 and no one has seemed to notice. Might be worth considering resizing down a bit since I'd wager the majority of readers don't really gain much from the 4k images.

Thanks! As far as Lydia's concerned, I rather like designing my own characters, and I wanted to do something a little different with her. And as far as the slavery thing goes, I thought it was kind of a fun fantasy for her to have. Slavery is happening in this world, to a degree, but following an actual slave or shit like that will probably never be a focus here.

I'm working on a short little Lexi chapter right now, so maybe I'll play around with the image resizing and see what I think. As always, thanks for reading, and thanks for the advice.
