Found by the Imperials in collaboration with the East Empire Trading Company, this island cavern was large enough to construct a fortress that, over the course of ten years, became large enough to have entry points within the cavern itself, and on the other side of the island, where it seemed large enough for both a forest, alongside some open land suitable for farming. The fortress was additionally meant as a staging point for the Imperials to protect the area, and while

The origins of this village are known to very few, with many being unsure of how long the village has been around. But it is a village mostly comprised of Selachii, though members of other races are not at all shunned, they are free to either visit, or live in the village if they wish. Though being separate from the Skyrim mainland, some could easily believe that it is a lawless place - it is not. Whi
In spite of what was wanted by the Selachii's creator, the first of it's creations took a different path, intending to into only imbue it's creations with the powers of magic that followed throughout Mundus, but a connection to other forces that it saw within the world, and they were to embody these concepts in part, but it was a hope of Nisshoku, that they would be so, so much more.
A point of pride and respect for a majority of Selachii, as nearly all members of the race h

Arrive By Ship(Selachii Variant) - "One of many chosen to sail the seas of Nirn to a province of Tamriel's Empire facing a Civil War, I gladly agreed to the journey. If only to sail under the command of Akario, a legend among my people. Like others, he has given me leave to explore Skyrim as I see fit."
Hinomaru - Built during the reign of Queen Himiko's father, this ship was built as both a military vessel, and a personal transport for the royals of the Selachii. Dark, sturdy wood was used in it's construction, and later it was painted with white trimmings, and draped with sails baring a stylized, red sun. Though this ship never saw much in terms of combat, it is known that it survived any conflicts it was involved in.
The fate of this vessel is unknown.

These are to be characters that only appear within the race's lore, or mentioned by characters in dialog, and will likely not appear in-game. The only way some of them might, is being depicted within the "Selachii Legacy" book, or any other related material. Once the home of an offshoot sect of the Dragon Cult, this ruin was built originally for the same purpose as the rest, in honor of those who wished to serve and worship the Dragons. However, over time this sect wished to look for methods of obtaining Immortality beyond being tied to the Dragon's power. While never removing the iconography of the Dragon Cult, this sect began using this place as a base in their search for this seemingly elusive goal. They would never succeed, and

One problem with the Soul Cairn, although it can be seen as very subjective, would be that the location does present some base stories on how it's inhabitants found themselves there. However, the way this is achieved, can mean that, possibly, a single NPC can suggest various different ways they arrived there. Meaning, save for perhaps, four characters in the vanilla/DLC Soul Cairn, you do not see any static stories.
So this will be the basis used for a few ad

The ruins of a fort that fell to such a state, perhaps centuries ago. Very little of this places origin is known, and it seems the majority of the fort is buried into the mountain, with few adventurers and explorers bringing tales of what is found inside.
So as possibly is already obvious, the purpose of this blog is to document the characters, quests, NPCs, and generally all the content for Blaze69's Shark Race mod. There may be some very minor spoilers below.
First, some background information on the race.
Selachii (Sel-ah-kee) - Hailing from the shores and seas of Akavir, this race experienced an event which drove them from what was once their homeland. Little is known of what happened, and most Selachii alive in the Fo
