Skyloft - (W.I.P)

 

Location Type: Imperial/Fort

Hold/Region: Northern Whiterun/Southern Pale

Description:

 

The ruins of a fort that fell to such a state, perhaps centuries ago. Very little of this places origin is known, and it seems the majority of the fort is buried into the mountain, with few adventurers and explorers bringing tales of what is found inside.

Cold Rock - (W.I.P)

 

Location Type: Variable - An exterior mountain clearing, and a Imperial style fortress.

Hold/Region: Haafingar/Reach

Description

 

Built long ago by the Empire, this fortress came into the ownership of one of High Rock's local kings, and after the downfall of the dynasty, and internal upheaval in High Rock, it became unused for years. The mountain passes eventually collapsed into nothing more than either blocked passages or caves, and in spite of rumors of roaring fires, and otherwise ghostly sightings from those daring enough to attempt exploration, few have visited this location in the last fifty years. 

 

Haafingar House - (W.I.P)

 

Location Type: Solitude style House

Hold/Region: Haafingar

Description

 

Once the home of a noble family which was involved with centuries of conflict, the family name nearly faded from existence. Only some years before the Great War, the only remaining patriarch of this family was an Imperial Legion trained Soldier, had come home to his dying mother, finding that he may be the last to bear the family name, all of his other siblings having been taken in conflicts, while others by their own foolishness. Taking up residence in his ancestral home, he lived there for about a year, before he was asked to assist some of the Solitude guards in raiding a known hideout of pirates and bandits, on the coast of Haafingar, close to the border of High Rock.

Sailor's Rest

 

Location Type: Wildhelm Style House

Hold/Reigon: Windheld/Eastmarch

Description: 

 

Sitting abandoned for years, this home has come into the use of what some in Windhelm consider nothing more than a brothel, run by a "fishwife" whom fits that title more than most, but nonetheless, the business run there is successful, seeing even some staunchly proud Nords rumored, or known to visit, or have visited this establishment. Some believe the existence of this, Inn, essentially, competes with Candlehearth Hall, but only in a minor respect. While the Nord clientele of the Rest are of note, greater still are those of Argonians, Khajiit, and Dunmer who visit, along with the somewhat rarer Selachii, or make their coin plying an easy, and ancient trade. The proprietor of this, Inn, seems to have a silver tongue, known for easily being able to convince the patriarch of the Shatter-shield family, that her venture was to be far more profitable, than the one he had originally intended to make upon Eastmarch's leaders - this deal was enough that, some time ago, he fronted a portion of the cost for the purchase of the space, and for some renovations. To his delighted surprise, it was within two years that this cost was paid back. Her management of this income saw the home able to give a taste of a noble life to those who would never know it otherwise - a main floor where food and drink was to be served to the needs of patrons, a basement that catered to bathing needs for any who wished it, including some intimate favors, and of course, an upper level that contained a number of rooms, all large enough to fit a number of people. Those wishing a bed for the night here, are given the option of spending their time with a partner of their choice, though few would eventually dare challenge two rules set by the proprietor, those who do, would find themselves, irrespective of status, thrown out onto the shore of the nearby icy waters of the Sea of Ghosts, along with otherwise being barred entry for a week's time, and any aggressive attempts to enter would be met with the involvement of Windhelm's guards. 

 

Most notable about the location is that, a moderately sized tree is located inside the building, one whose petals never wilt, never fall with the passing of seasons. Most understand it to be part of the establishment's charm, but it seems to be much more than that. Most visitors are barred from touching the tree in any way, and while the regulars understand this perfectly, occasionally someone violates this rule. They are dealt with swiftly, and barred entry for a month. 

 

Characters

 

Mariko, Selachii, TSF - Sole owner of "Sailor's Rest", an Inn outside of Windhelm. She tends the bar in the late hours, but retires past midnight. She seems to sleep very seldomly, save for weekends, where she takes the two days off.

 

Yukie, Selachii, TSF - A barmaid working at the Sailor Rest, most understand that she is Mariko's daughter. Most of the day, she tends the bar, allowing patrons to rent rooms and purchase food or drink. 

 

Daizo, Selachii, M - He works as a guard in the Rest. A Selachii with a lot of muscle, he is generally soft spoken and passive, but for those who break the few rules of his workplace, they see an almost entirely different side of him. Occasionally, he spends time outside the Rest, welcoming patrons as they enter, though this is mostly during the day, and part of the evening. All other hours, he spends inside.

 

Raizo, Selachii, M - A mage, who some know to have studied at the College of Winterhold, along with other centers of magical learning across Tamriel, few as there are, and he works both as a guard of Sailor's Rest, alongside providing methods of healing for those who require it. Other than healing, he focuses on destructive magic, mostly shock related spells. He guards the Rest in the late hours of the night, while he spends the majority of the day and evening making use of his magic - including selling spellbooks, potions, ingredients, and the like to those who desire such things.
