I've got some ball gags . . .I stuck them in their mouths thinking I was pretty clever and it looked good. They just talk right around them and I can't find any setting in the MCM menus for Devious Devices, Cursed Loot etc to make gags force followers to gag talk when they try to speak  I found this    Which seems PERFECT but I don't see a SSE version and it is apparently way out of date =/   In case anyone finds this thread via google, a helpful user converted it for me! I use MO2 and this is what I did to get it to work: Â ~Install with the AIO installer but click "none" for the SKSE version. Â ~Installed the CBBE patch and placed below AIO's Devious Device in load order. Â ~Installed the SKSE runtime patch for SKSE 2.0.17 and placed that below the CBBE patch. You can find this SKSE patch on page 67 of this thread. Â ~Launch the game once. Â Done. No more Error. Â Â 5

I have installed DDa, DDx, and DDi, and all the listed prereqs. But when I try using integration the animations don't work. Everyone is stuck spread eagle and they just glide around. I also installed the skse update file on the last page. Didn't seem to help.  But of course disabling integration doesn't help at all. When I do and I try to equip something like the arm binder the animation continues as it normally would, but with no hands. It doesn't register that the characters arms should be bound.
startrecker Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 So I am having a slight problem with the piercings. Despite building them with the same preset in bodyslide as my characters body there is a slight offset that is driving me nuts. Hope someone has had the same issue and can tell me where i went wrong. Edit: Got it figured out. In case anyone finds this later the problem was caused by using the CBBE Body SMP instead of CBBE physics.
CheddarTrauma Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 The CTD issue with the new Collygon meshes (bellCollar, boneGag, kittenCollar, petCollar, puppyCollar) is due to a texture error, specifically collyCube_metal.dds and collyCube_rubber.dds SSE Nif Optimizer gives the following error regarding them: Quote collyCube_metal.dds collyCube_rubber.dds - Uncompressed cubemaps require an alpha channel. Use ARGB8 instead of RGB8 or compress them with DXT1/BC1.  Doing a quick Run of Cathedral Assets Optimizer with 'Compress textures' checked, on only those 2 textures, fixes the CTD and displays the meshes normally in-game. They should probably be re-exported with the necessary alpha channel in photoshop/a photo software program instead of simply compressing them.  Until that is done, here are the compressed textures. When I'm instaling it, MO2 is saying there's somekind of incompatibility Here's what is shown by MO2  You have one or more script extender plugins which failed to load!  If you want this notification to go away, here are some steps you can take: • Look for updates to the mod or the specific plugin included in the mod. • Disable the mod containing the plugin. • Hide or delete the plugin from the mod.  To refresh the script extender logs, you will need to run the game and/or editor again!  The failed plugins are: • DDiUtil version 1 (DeviousDevices.dll, Devious Devices Integration) reported as incompatible during query. I've tried looking for solutions but none have been working and since I'm pretty bad at modding, I don't really know how I could solve this so if someone has an idea to fix that problem I would be trully grateful ! Thanks a lot ! The DLL Plugin has to do with script extender, or rather, mods that depends on script extender. If you have a mod with an outdated DLL plugin, it might not work properly with the current, up to date script extender. If you're unlucky, it won't even work at all. This is something on the modder's end, and they need to update the DLL. At least I figure this is the case.

Dlls must be updated by the mod author, unless the author has released the source code and a competent coder steps in and recompiles the dll to match the new SKSE.  You will have this problem nearly every time Bethesda releases a game update because some code locations will change in Skyrim.exe which will break SKSE's hooks into the game code. So, broadly, dll authors wait for SKSE to get fixed, and then they use the fixes in SKSE to fix their dlls.  I'm still running Skryim 1.5.80 and SKSE 2.0.16 because there are still a couple mods I consider essential that haven't yet had their dll's rebuilt.Â

tsmfpz Posted December 27, 2019 Posted December 27, 2019 So, without going into too much context, I was trying to make a character who exclusively uses things from the powers tab, using things like Spells as Lesser Powers. To accomplish this, I was testing throwing the character in a straightjacket, to make sure I could only use powers. However, it seems that arm restraints also restricts powers, even though they aren't cast from the hand like other spells. I get why it works like that, but is there a way around it? I just really want to try making this character.
