Villianize Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Devious Devices work for the most part in regards to being visible and showing up when worn, BUT unlike on my oldrim playthrough they dont lock or give a locked notification when equipped to myself or NPCs. I've tried going through the MCM but nothing seems to fix the issue. I've tried searching for solutions around the site and whatnot but nothing seems to get close to what I'm facing or the fix doesnt seem to work. Also when I read the books from the Forbidden Bookshelf the crafting options do not show up when I'm at a forge or anvil.Â
Roggvir Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Noticed some bug in Devious Devices - Expansion 4.2 SE Â Straitjackets that are supposed to show legs (those not having legbinder or hobble skirt) are missing Slot 38 - Calves from their "BOD2 - Biped Body Template" in the Armor record. This results in a gap in between feet and knees. Adding the Slot 38 to the BOD2 fixes it. I suspect this concerns all the following Armor Addons from Devious Devices - Expansion.esm: Â 0002D9C6: zadx_StraitJacketLatexBlackAA 0002D9C7: zadx_StraitJacketLatexRedAA 0002D9C8: zadx_StraitJacketLatexWhiteAA 0002D9C9: zadx_StraitJacketLeatherBlackAA 0002D9CA: zadx_StraitJacketLeatherRedAA 0002D9CB: zadx_StraitJacketLeatherWhiteAA 0002D9D8: zadx_StraitJacketLeatherToplessBlackAA 0002D9D9: zadx_StraitJacketLeatherToplessRedAA 0002D9DA: zadx_StraitJacketLeatherToplessWhiteAA 0002D9DB: zadx_StraitJacketLatexToplessBlackAA 0002D9DC: zadx_StraitJacketLatexToplessRedAA 0002D9DD: zadx_StraitJacketLatexToplessWhiteAA Â
Roggvir Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 I am unable to get rid of Bondage Mittens, no matter how many times i try.  After few unsuccessfull attempts to unlock, i eventually get the message indicating success (something about the mittens falling off), but immediately after that follows another message indicating failure to unlock, and the mittens stay.  If it is not a problem in DD, then maybe it is something in DCL - i am not sure how to find out where the mittens came from (which script game them to me). I suppose i can use the console to remove them, but i dont know if they are maybe part of some quest, in which case i wouldnt want to break that quest.  EDIT: related errors in Papyrus log Spoiler [03/31/2019 - 07:11:05AM] error: Unbound native function "FormHasKeywordString" called [03/31/2019 - 07:11:05AM] warning: Assigning None to a non-object variable named "::temp7" stack:    [alias PlayerRef on quest zadDevicesUnderneathQuest (09041472)].zadDevicesUnderneathPlayerScript.Logic() - "zadDevicesUnderneathPlayerScript.psc" Line 17    [alias PlayerRef on quest zadDevicesUnderneathQuest (09041472)].zadDevicesUnderneathPlayerScript.OnObjectUnequipped() - "zadDevicesUnderneathPlayerScript.psc" Line 66 [03/31/2019 - 07:11:05AM] [Zad]: OnUnequipped(DCLTest: Black Leather Paw Bondage Mittens) [03/31/2019 - 07:11:05AM] error: Unbound native function "FormHasKeywordString" called [03/31/2019 - 07:11:05AM] warning: Assigning None to a non-object variable named "::temp7" stack:    [alias PlayerRef on quest zadDevicesUnderneathQuest (09041472)].zadDevicesUnderneathPlayerScript.Logic() - "zadDevicesUnderneathPlayerScript.psc" Line 17    [alias PlayerRef on quest zadDevicesUnderneathQuest (09041472)].zadDevicesUnderneathPlayerScript.OnObjectEquipped() - "zadDevicesUnderneathPlayerScript.psc" Line 48 [03/31/2019 - 07:11:10AM] error: Unbound native function "FormHasKeywordString" called [03/31/2019 - 07:11:10AM] warning: Assigning None to a non-object variable named "::temp7" stack:    [alias PlayerRef on quest zadDevicesUnderneathQuest (09041472)].zadDevicesUnderneathPlayerScript.Logic() - "zadDevicesUnderneathPlayerScript.psc" Line 17    [alias PlayerRef on quest zadDevicesUnderneathQuest (09041472)].zadDevicesUnderneathPlayerScript.OnObjectUnequipped() - "zadDevicesUnderneathPlayerScript.psc" Line 66 [03/31/2019 - 07:11:10AM] [Zad]: OnUnequipped(DCLTest: Black Leather Paw Bondage Mittens) [03/31/2019 - 07:11:10AM] error: Unbound native function "FormHasKeywordString" called [03/31/2019 - 07:11:10AM] warning: Assigning None to a non-object variable named "::temp7" stack:    [alias PlayerRef on quest zadDevicesUnderneathQuest (09041472)].zadDevicesUnderneathPlayerScript.Logic() - "zadDevicesUnderneathPlayerScript.psc" Line 17    [alias PlayerRef on quest zadDevicesUnderneathQuest (09041472)].zadDevicesUnderneathPlayerScript.OnObjectEquipped() - "zadDevicesUnderneathPlayerScript.psc" Line 48  Disregard. Tired from your struggles, you have no choice but to give up for now. Maybe try again later!"  ...and at the end i still have the mittens on.

Roggvir Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Regarding that problem with Bondage Mittens... I can'ttell whether the inability to remove them is a bug, or a misunderstood feature. Can somebody desribe/confirm how are the mittens supposed to work? can YOU get them off? Â
Tron91 Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 @Roggvir  Those BS Files were the result of absence of newer CBBE SE BS files in DD when DD was ported to SE. So, in my opinion if someone has better BS Files, he is free and welcome to upload in here. Think you should talk with @Pfiffy, he probably knows best where those BS Files came from. 1

I get around it by including the DD series as a subset of other groups (which allow me to select the preset I want), then batch building everything. Â So far it's worked for MOST things, but there are outliers which just refuse to conform - specifically the Chastity Bra (the bottom half clips into the breast itself), the piercings (alignment is completely off from where the nipples are) and some of the corsets/harnesses (the belly area dips into the stomach when the player character breathes). Â I've tried opening the offending items in outfit studio, loading a preset into the project, then saving the project and it makes things even worse (the alignment is even further off). FWIW, I'm currently use CBBE Fetish preset. Â The BS Group handling is something I can't figure out since years. I have never ever been able to select a group for conversion, I always do only one or everything. Â Instead I copied some Slider directories from Oldrim BS into the new SE BS and it actually gave me some conversion sliders. So far it seems to work, although I didn't have much time to test it.

Guest Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 To be honest, I fixed virtually all of my clipping issues simply by using UUNP with SSE instead of the new CBBE SE. I'm guessing not everyone wants to do this, but it's a simple solution. However, the non-clipping related problems like the straitjacket calves missing are still there. Â If you want to know how to use UUNP with SSE, there's a simple guide here:Â https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/ac8bme/guide_how_to_make_uunp_and_uunp_ingame_morphs/ Â Â

I chose the HDT UUNP body, but nothing moves. I didn't have that problem. Are you using cbpc or hdt? Also, I chose the UUNP Special body, haven't tried the HDT one. Although, I'm pretty sure they're the same except for the vagina physics. I'm using CBPC for body physics as well.  If you're using HDT, I think that you might need a specific HDT-SMP config for body physics. There's already one for CBBE SE, but since UUNP isn't officially ported to SSE I don't think one exists, although I haven't tried looking. If this is indeed your problem, then I should say that it's also possible to use CBPC for body physics while using HDT-SMP for clothing/hair physics. This should also give you better performance since HDT-SMP can cause some serious fps drops sometimes. I don't know exactly how though, you'd have to google it. I think it revolves around installing both and then deleting the hdt-smp file specifically for body physics.

Thanks for the answer.  I'm actually using the combo you mentioned, SMP for clothing, CBPC for body. And I know extremely well how bad can be SMP for body physics, it took 2 weeks until I figured out why my game slows down randomly to 3 fps...  Yesterday I didn't have time to experiment, but I'll see what I can do now.  Update: I managed to do it! I had the CBPC with collision earlier, now I went back to regular CBP Physics and it works.  Thanks, M

Dcasteel7 Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Im CTDing during the loading screen when selecting either new game or load game. Im posting this here because it only happens with Devious Devices checked. When I uncheck Devious Devices, no CTD. I have all the required mods installed, Ive ran everything through LOOT and FNIS, and the SKSE64.log even says that all plugins are loaded correctly. It said the DD plugins were loaded correctly too which is weird. Any help here? Thanks in advance.

Dcasteel7 Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Wow. That was the problem. Way too many animations. I got it down to 10,000 anims. Not only does DD work but the game doesnt lag anymore. Thank you so much for your help Pfiffy!!!
Roggvir Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 It may not be for everyone, but i recommend customizing the animation packs you are using by removing animations you dont need or dont like (edit the source TXT, use the Python script to rebuild the JSON, rebuild the behavior files, and then run FNIS for users). I am using almost all the packs that are floating around here on LL, but i still got the number of anims somewhere under 7000 by using only the anims i want (when you realize that for example SL cant even support 5p animations and you remove those - that is 5 times number of stages, times number of "animations", do the same for most of the 4p anims, because lets face it, most of them are a mess anyway, then maybe you decide you dont need horse animations, or skeevers, etc.). That being said, i wouldn't recommend messing with it unless you really know what you are doing, because if you break the game, you'll be pretty much on your own. It was quite a chore to filter those animations and rebuild everything, but if you can do it, you will be rewarded with smoother running game (or working game at least, for some of you :))
