Dunno if this is the right place to put this but im having a really strange problem with Devious devices and bodyslide.

While naked the body scales right and has physics, while wearing LITTERALY any other armor from both vanilla and any other mod, the body scales correctly and has physics. But devious devices just flat out refuses to scale right and/or have physics.

Basically what i mean by scaling wrong is that it doesnt scale at all. It remains the default body size.

Now here's where it gets even weirder tho... If i scale my naked bodys breasts to say twice the normal size, then they get bigger while naked.

When i then equip a devious devices armor they go back to the default size, but then when i scale the breast size DOWN while wearing that armor the breasts get bigger as long as i wear that armor. When i then take it off again my naked breasts are pretty much flat like pancakes because they got scaled down too.

Ive been fiddling around with load orders for god knows how long and i just cant seem to get it to work. Is anyone else having this problem?

Sounds like your bodyslide build was not done correctly. You are going to want to make sure you have run it properly.

Well, the thing is, since every other armor works perfectly i feel like im doing it right and devious devices just doesnt wanna play with me. I have gotten it to work a while back, but that was before many mods were updated, problem is if i go back to those versions then everything else might break...

Does your devious devices work with all the new versions of sexlab and such?

edit: Also, if it works, could you send a printscreen of your load order? Im thinking thats where the problem lies as i once actually managed to get the physics to work while throwing stuff around at random. I then lost them again as i tried to fix the scaling and never managed to get em back...

Thanks for the reply btw!

"Some of the enabled plugins depend on others that are not plugged in:

devious devices integration.esm depends on devious devices assets.esm"

However i downloaded everything required for this mod, did i miss something?

Have you built the nude body for it too?

My BodySlide builds we’re working fine, no issues like what you have explained. Just some minor spacing issues.

Unfortunately, I have just deleted my Skyrim install to try and start fresh and see what I can do about these CTD’s I have been getting so I don’t have a load order to give right now.

I've been using DD for a while correctly but since I updated to the latest version of the XP32 skeleton, the game crashes immediately.  I wanted to revert to the older version of the skeleton but I don't have the installer anymore and it's not available on the nexus page.  I'm just going to stop using DD for now.  If it helps, I'm including my papyrus log into this post, and here's what it looks like:

Yes, i've tried batch building all of the body types just in case one would work, but none ever did. I have done several clean installs with nothing but CBBE, bodyslide and Devious devices (and all of their requirements of course), once again every thing else works but not DD. I am confussled by this, but thats modding for you i guess, heh.

Just out of curiosity, can you list the DD dependencies that you are installing?

Did you rerun FNIS after the latest XPSSE update?

Link to comment

I installed the three files, followed the steps. Batched the files (I'm pretty sure correctly) Got past the load the save game with DD in it. It says DD 4.1 initialized.

But there is nothing to equip, interact or do. The quest tab also shows nothing in the MCM.

Am I missing something here?

Maybe try reinstalling DD to see if those references will fix themselves.

Devious Devices is just a group of assets that are made available for other creators use. You can spawn in the items through the console if you want, but DD doesn’t have a native way to use its assets. It just depends on what you want to do with those devices.

maybe you have to many animations loaded. Try to uncheck animations till you have only 10000 active in FNIS XXL

  • FNIS SE - all three packs (behavior, creature, spells)
  • Racemenu se V 0-3-4
  • XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended v4.51
  • Bodyslide and Outfit Studio v 4.7.1

I should have everything up to date.

EDIT: When you say dependencies, i assume you mean which mods i use that requires DD? If so its Cursed loot and deviously helpless.

The limit is different for everyone. It is dependent on the pc and how many mods are installed. He could very well be hitting his limit.

So after installing LOOT and fixing my load order i now have the physics for the body working but the scaling is still off. I have been thoroughly checking all my mods to make sure i have the lastest version of them and all of their requirements.

Do i have to go into settings in bodyslide and change the skeleton or something like that? Or change the settings just in general?

If you tried reducing the anim count and it didn't work, do you have mods from LE that you're using in SE? If so, you need to extract the BSAs from LE.
