Short question, is "DD 5.2 beta 3BA Bodyslides v0.8b" still needed with DD 5.2 and 3BA? I'm asking because 3BA was mentioned in the installer. So I'm a bit confused if there is a difference.

I did not ill look again, looked again but when i click the download link it only takes me to mega, it does not give me an option for a goggle drive link.

Same here. Downloaded both 5.2 SE and 0.8b Bodyslide files. Should I let the BS files from 0.8b overwrite the ones included in 5.2 SE archive?

No, those are left for people still on 5.1, since it's just a few extra outfits. What is in the 5.2 fomod is newer than 0.8b.

Nope, just need the fomod files for now. 0.8b was beta 10. There are a few updated bodyslides in the release.

OK. I'm having something weird.

 

On a new game, the MCM is loaded, but Devious Devices itself is never initialized (and thus the MCM stays blank). Same with Cursed Loot, Unforgiving Devices and other mods that uses it (and need to be initialized).

 

What is going on?

 

P.S. The only different thing compared to other installations (other than mods that I've removed) are Sexlab P+. Is that it?

Save and reload your game. DD doesn't initialize on the first load since sometime during the beta. No, it's not related to P+.

 

Cursed loot is it's own problem that boils down to if the mcm isn't available after DD initialized, exit to menu and then start another new game.

Yes, it's needed if you use SLIF and DD, it forwards inflation from DD to SLIF.

 

Personally, I've dropped SLIF and just let racemenu handle all inflation, and don't use DD's inflation for breasts/belly. I've got so many things inflating the belly and breasts that I don't miss DD's, which was never very much anyway.

Tried both solutions and neither did work.

 

The strangest thing is that the MCM appears, but neither mod is initialized. Of course, that means they're both blank.

In that case, there's always the fallback with large load orders. Do a stepped load.

Disable half of your load order, or just the mods that are having problems initializing. Wait for everything to finish loading, then save and exit. Add in another chunk of your load order, or the rest of it, or the problem mods you had disabled. They should initialize correctly since everything isn't starting at once.

I am having a problem with the tail in a pony girl outfit.  The tails are not attaching, and seem to be on the ground or under it.  Has anyone mentioned this or know how to fix it?  Thanks in advance.

Fix your SMP, it's not working. Make sure you installed the right version for your game.  If you don't know your game version, check the skyrimse.exe properties.

Use Faster HDT SMP as it's the most up to date version.

I didn't even know DD did any inflating.  What circumstances does it? 

 

I use eggfactory and fill her up so I believe I need slif to harmonize their inputs/set a limit, seems to run ok...

It's in DD's MCM in device effects, it shrinks belly when wearing corset and breasts when using bra (so it hides better inside).

 

Cursed Loot has morphs for both of them too.

I'm not sure where to post that but for the record:

After hours of investigations, I found out that Equip Enchantment Fix (SKSE Plugins) breaks most of the devices from DD (they auto re-equip after successful removal, even duping if tossed out of inventory)
Disabling the plugin fixed the issue

And that is correct, 08a76c is indeed a placed fence in Skyrim.esm.
You need to be searching for the item in the plugin from which it is supposed to come from, ie. "Devious Devices - Integration.esm", not "Skyrim.esm", by prefixing the formId with the load order prefix of the DDi plugin.

- Changed: The Posture collar event now recognizes more posture collars other than just the DDA one.

- Changed: Contraptions: The mod now respects the DD-wide toggle for device manipulation. Option to manipulate the locks is no longer offered when the feature is disabled in MCM.

- Changed: Added the full body rope restraints to the new zad_dev_suits_hobbledresses_rope levelled list. It is nested inside the zad_dev_suits_hobbledresses levelled list.
- Changed: The previously unused and empty zad_dev_blindfolds_cloth levelled list was renamed to zad_dev_blindfolds_rope to hold all the rope blindfold variants.
- Changed: Added the ball and chain shackles to the ankle shackles levelled list
- Changed: Reworked device hider. It should from now on hide only Devious Devices, not third party armor using DD slots. It should also update faster now.
- Changed: Reworked how Gag expression is updated on NPCs. In comparison to the previous implementation, this should be much safer and less stressing on the engine.
- Changed: Updated Dark fog blindfold effect and made it more ENB friendly.
- Changed: Updated GetRandomDevice() in zadDeviceLists.psc to make the random device selection function safer and prevent an edge case where it could hang the game.
- Changed: Script properties on several rope harnesses that still referred to them as non-rope harnesses
- Changed: Added a lot more device types to the struggle event. Also reworked the array so items with multiple animations don't overcrowd the array and mess with the randomnes.
