Is the rope harness being hidden by regular armor? It is possible that the Bikini Armor is being treated as a torso item, and Device Hider is taking effect. Can you confirm if the torso armor is recognized as body armor? It's likely DD is configured to hide body restraints when wearing something in the torso slot. You need to go to the Device hider in the MCM and make that not the case.

This is due to device hider probably. You can disable it in the MCM as a quick test. If you want everything to show, always (even odd things like nipple piercings through body armor) then leave it disabled. otherwise, after confirming it's device hider, you'll need to mess with the rules to show specific slots when an armor piece is used. if using modular armor, it's best to leave device hider disabled, otherwise you could hide armor pieces and not just devices.

If you've got mfg fix, it's another mod that's causing the issue. toys can do this, as well as another devious mod i don't recall the name of. if it's just recent, check what you recently added. also make sure that mfg fix is working for your skyrim version, as it may need to be updated if you updated your skyrim. you can check if mfgfix is working by checking the skse64.log.

Is there a download link that isn't MEGA? I always get the error "Your In-Browser Storage for MEGA is full". I've done everything I can to try and fix it, even re-installing Opera GX. But now that I've tried twice in Opera I thought to try edge and, surprise surprise, despite not actually being able to download anything from MEGA, I've hit my quota for the next 5 hours.

Hey there, I wonder about two points. One, if it is intended, that the normal ballgag/harnessballgag prevents speaking complete ? Thought thats for the big ballgag/harnessballgag ?

Other, why the Boxbinder is handled like a suit. Wouldnt it be better to handle it like an armbinder ? I know about the boxbinder suit, but maybe it can be used different.

You can perform an advanced search:

 

Hit the magnifying glass at the top of the page, then proceed to perform an advanced search. You should search by tag 'Devious Devices'. use a comma to have the tag added.

 

Now you're gonna want to set the content type to file, and set the category to 'Skyrim: Special Edition'. If you prefer, you can set the category to 'Skyrim', for the Oldrim mods. Some Oldrim mods do support SE, so it's worth a browse.

 

This will display for you the listings for the file pages of every mod related to 'Devious Devices' made for Skyrim Special Edition or Oldrim, provided the creator tagged the mod with the 'devious devices' tag. If you want up to date mods, you can filter out mods that haven't been updated for varying different amounts of time.

 

The only downside of doing this is that the search will Display EVERY mod associated with Devious Devices; not just the ones that add custom devices.

So I may be being an idiot here, but where is devious devices expansion.esm located? Because some of the mods I use that say I need it say that I dont have it despite me downloading devious devices and multiple sources telling me its an all in one and should be in there?

It is in there as long as you're on DD 5.0 and later. If you're not, upgrade to DD 5.1 from the SE download page, or get the DD 5.2 beta from the troubleshooting post.

If you're on those versions, make sure the esm is activated in your plugins.

if you have original path of steam installation Program files is too long for Vortex, you need move game to another steam folder or reinstall steam in main root as c:\Steam

install fuz ro doh. this a requirement for all mods with modded speech, to make them slow down. this is not a DD issue.

Hey im having some problems whit the gags, im using the latest version in sse, id say half of the gags work including the ones from mods, for example bridles dont work only the ones from S.L.U.T.S, im using mfg fix allready.

 

Zaz gags do work its just the ones from dd.

@Kimy I have been supporting my new mod the past couple months. Many users upload their Papyrus.0.log files when asking for help. In nearly every one I have found the following Papyrus error.

Do you know what is causing this? I have looked at the source. I am not convinced I know what this script does. It seems like it is unconditionally deleting an item from the player inventory when inventory changes. But it is seemingly sticking around after it deletes the item.

I am getting this error in my own brand new save. Just completed the Unbound quest with a relatively light load order. I am using this as a test save. I was surprised to see this error already in it. I have done nothing in this save except complete the opening quest. And as noted at the outset I have seen numerous others with this error. I can link to a number of different log files if it will help.

Use a spoiler when posting a list like that. A wall of text like that makes the page unreadable and doesn't incline anyone to help you.

 

That list is too large for someone to troubleshoot without all the data - the esm/esp plugins are only half the story. There are mods that can fuck things up that don't need or have a plugin.

 

All i can recommend is make sure nothing is overwriting DD, including DD patches that did not come in the DD 5.1 or 5.2 installer.

You can also remove all your mods except DD and it's requirements and test on a new game. It should work on a new game with only DD. If it doesn't, delete the skyrim data folder, revalidate your files in steam and then test again. After it's working with just DD, add you mods back one at a time until you find what breaks it.

 

Don't use deviously enchanted chests and DCL together. they do the same thing and conflict. devious lore patches for DD have caused problems in the past, you might try getting rid of them. You've got Roggvir's gag mod, make sure you're installing it and using it correctly. Or remove it and see if things work.

 

Use loot on your load order, or sort it properly using the method. fix your bashed patches, whatever you've done to them looks wrong.

Starting off, amazing mod! I already loved the Fallout 4 version but the Skyrim version, HOO boy does it have so much more to offer. That being said, I have both a question/suggestion based on the answer to the question. Will there ever be cloth gags implemented (OTN, OTM, Cleave, Knotted cleave, etc.)? It seems like such a missed opportunity to not have them, and there's no real alternative for the Special Edition version that I've found. Not to mention the vanilla cloth gag is ugly when used alongside the intricate ropes in your mod. I think it could really help scratch that shibari itch I'm sure some out there have got to have.

Fixed color issues with ebonite straitjackets and a weird texture issue with straitjacket catsuits.

If boxbinders were borken in v3 they should be fixed now.

Removed smp body weight painted versions of some meshes. There were like 5 of them and they don't play nice with other ones due to different weight painting.

Reading the Beta 9 notes, it seems like the LE version introduced Transparent Restrictive Gloves.  This item exists in the SE version as well, but nothing at all shows visually (as opposed to being a transparent item) when you put it on.

 

It seems the file devious\expansion\ebRestrictiveGloves_TransparentRubber_1.nif doesn't exist even after running a full bodyslide build.  Looking into Bodyslide itself, I can't find Transparent Restrictive Gloves as an item on my installation.  Was this model not ported in the SE beta 9 version?  Or did I fail to install something correctly?
