I've been getting into Skyrim modding myself, only very recently mind, and I've been wanting to see if I could make the gag models fit custom races like the Lykaios. I just wanted to ask here first if I could get permission to do so?

 

If I was to upload it I'd ask permission from the author of the Lykaios mod as well as DD's development team, of course.

hello, I am having an issue where the chains for leg cuffs/shackles due not connect. I have skyrim SE version 1.6 and DD version for AE, along with faster HDT-SMP, and have HDT enabled in body build for DD 

 

 

can confirm that putting on the device, save, quit to desktop, and then load game fixed the issue.

Working as expected then. Not anything I can do to make it work better. Faster SMP devs are looking at it to see if they can do something about it.

issue here, I've already batch built the devices in BodySlide several times and verified that they would go in the proper folders, after checking the logs, it seems everything was normal but some of the devices are still invisible, i'm using the latest version of Skyrim AE with Skse64 2.1.5 and the most recent version of all DD requirements.

Some of devices says nothing. Full name or device id in studio!

As Elsidia said, need the name of the device in game or the bodyslide that is invisible in game.

It would also be helpful to have a screenshot of the output patch when building just one of the invisible devices.

to answer your questions: after further testing, all devices that aren't collars or crotch accessories turn invisible when equipped. there are way too many to list all here.

Answer is simple. All those devices not exists in mod. So those is invisible because you still wrong do bodyslide. Bodyslide and only bodyslide create those items. So is there wrong path to build items, or bodyslide runs from wrong place, also it's depend what mod manager you use.

If vortex need put in right place in skyrim data folder. If mo2 then bodyslide needs configure right to put in in mo2 meshes folder for DD.

So will be useful if you can't do it itself, publish mod manager name and path from bodyslide where meshes is put, when you do build of dd device.

I don't understand what i'm doing wrong as i've worked with bodyslide in the past, notably when building the meshes for the fallout 4 version of this mod. and it's the first time this has happened

Is it possible to make Devious Devices work with Nemesis? I've searched for posts elsewhere but no luck.

Having trouble installing through vortex gets to last part of install then stops saying i am missing some prerequisites even though i installed everything else can't remember what they were called but they had either .esp or .esm at end

Open you Skyrim folder and found

D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\meshes\devious\devices

In this folder must be file straitjacket_leather_formal_0.nif

If there not search near folder for duplicate - it can be, when path is wrong.

If not found do full disk, where skyrim installed, search for straitjacket_leather_formal_0.nif

There must be found file:

In big disk it can take a long time, on my SSD it's take about 10 minutes or more. Sorry i can't scan all disk as it takes a long time. I search folder Skyrim, but if you don't find a file need search all disk. Also if file not found on disk, so it's be on other disk or never build in bodyslide.

Test first this costume - if this costume is visible, then send full name of invisible costume and i send path and file name for that.

Update or downgrade Vortex to version what allows install it. In one version was bug, what not allow install mods. Previous version allows it and maybe it was fixed in future versions, don't know.

This path is only for few devices, to work all devices need set correct path in bodyslide as in my screenshot.  So in other case other items outside this folder will be invisible.

UPD: some of it can be prerendered, but if you use own sliders, they not fit properly on your body.

Can anyone provide link for every requirement I would need to run this mod on my steam skyrim special edition and the best tool to install them with this is my first time trying to mod a game have never tried to before

At this time, no. Some people have had luck, but more people have problems with wrong animations so I don't consider it compatible at this time.

 

That may change in the future if the new DD gets an option for DAR animations, but I don't know if we will or won't at this time. Keep an eye on the beta is the best I can say.

You must have Sexlab and Sexlab Aroused installed AND ACTIVATED before vortex will let you install DD. If Vortex is not activating mods, you'll need to go to the plugins tab and activate them. Sometimes restarting Vortex helps.

 

Full list of requirements has been updated on the download page with SE and AE links. Make sure all of those for your game version are installed before installing DD.

If you're using Nemesis, that's your problem. Check the other mod incompatibilities on the troubleshooting post.

 

If you have nemesis, you'll need to uninstall it and reinstall fnis and DD and your other fnis mods. After reinstalling everything, rerun fnis. bodyslide outputs should still be in the bodyslide output folder in vortex, but you can rerun those too if you want. it shouldn't hurt now that you have the path right.

So start game and activate them in the mod settings then try to install devious another thing it's said missing skse but was sure vortex had it enabled and built in unless I missed something
