SJX52020 Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 (edited) Hi all, I recently reinstalled DD after not using it for a while and I've come across an issue which I didn't have before. I did the usual setup process of bodyslide, FNIS and everything seems to work as normal, I get movement debuffs and items which allow combat do so etc, and if I try to break out of devices the animation plays as normal. My issue is that the regular animations don't work like armbinders, hobble dresses, yokes and shackles. Spoiler ZAZ animations all seem to work fine. It's likely something extremely simple that I've missed but I'm a bit stumped currently, anyone have any ideas? EDIT: So far I have tried first uninstalling and completely removing DD, running FNIS and then doing the same for Zaz, and then reinstalling Zaz and then DD by itself and it has persisted, also tried on a new character but to no success I've also disabled all my SLAL animation packs to see if it was due to having too many animations but that also didn't change anything Edited June 24, 2022 by SJX52020

It wouldn't be slal, it would be idle animation replacers. If you have fnis sexy move and use it's 360 move, reset that in it's mcm. If you have the mod 360 move, it requires nemesis, and currently nemesis is not playing nice with DD. either remove DD or remove nemesis and reinstall all your fnis mods, DD included. There are unverified reports that some DAR animations do this. I haven't seen this personally at all, but you could try removing your DAR animations and see if that helps.

Also this bug in Skyrim is more "intense". So i don't describe cheat idea not to spoil interest in game, but idea is that you can cheat escape mechanism on some non blocking smiting table in Skyrim and have chance to craft those restraints) Edited June 25, 2022 by Elsidia

Thanks for the response, I don't use Nemesis, and I've tried disabling all my mods that affect idles (Pristine Vanilla Movement, Random Sprint, 360 Walk and Run Plus) but it still persists. I've also tried disabling DAR completely as well as all DAR animations (these were mainly combat animations anyway) and then reinstalling DD once all of these were disabled but no dice. I feel like I'm on the right track though, I've noticed that the animations don't work normally, however if I'm in "attack stance" and run forwards/backwards or sneak (in attack mode) then the animations work for yokes and armbinders but when I go stationary or in regular idle mode they break again. Try a new game with just DD and it's requirements. If you're adding items manually, make sure you're grabbing them from DDx and not any of the other ESMs. If you still have an issue, get the exact name of the device (so we can make sure it's a DD device and not some other mod's) and your papyrus log. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/articles/368

I am having an issue where many if not most of the devices are missing their zad_DeviousCollar keywords and many of the other types of devices are hit or miss for whether they work correctly which I am guessing is probably also missing the zad keywords though I have only really tested the collars so far. I checked po3_papyrusextender64.log and PapyrusUtilDev.log for zad entries and couldn't find any. Both logs are attached. metalhead_hr Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 (edited) Some of them might be but some of them were added to inventory through the Submissive Lola: The Resubmission mod, both through quest dialog and through lost collar help function, and others I added using AddItemMenuSE searching for collar and then adding them to inventory. After added I was then equipping them and testing player.wornhaskeyword zad_DeviousCollar. While I wasn't able to finish testing all of them, the ones I did get through kept returning 0.0. Edit: I did also try reinstalling through Vortex's resinstall option along with purging all mods and then doing a complete redeploy. Submissive Lola thread said it was likely a DD issue because of it being missing keywords and that mod just checks for the keywords. Edited June 27, 2022 by metalhead_hr

You know, with load order that big, it's better to check for conflicts. Try loading TES5Edit with your mods, and look at collars in DD - maybe they are overwritten by something?

The thing with "found in 5 minutes" has a background: I only found this site about 1 year ago although I've been playing Skyrim since it was first released - maybe 2500 hours of playtime now. Of course also with modifications - so far from the Nexus side. Only there was considerable trouble about 12 months ago - many mod authors withdrew their work - there were also many mods I used. When my PC crashed and I was looking for sources for the mods I wanted when rebuilding - I ended up at LoversLab. The mods on the LL side are of course a challenge in several respects (especially the mod family around DD) and I only learned/experienced a lot by reading hundreds of pages. With the release of the AE version, the whole thing has become even more complex - not only for the mod creators but also for us mod users. Ich bleibe bewusst bei meiner SE-Variante - die aktuelle Zusammenstellung meiner Mods könnte ich bei weitem nicht auf AE umstellen.
