After many tests and adding traces in the zadLibs.pex script, I think I have identified the cause of the CTD, it is the command "Input.TapKey (Input.GetMappedKey (" Forward "))" where when the CTD occurs the argument returned by "Input.GetMappedKey (" Forward ")" has the value -1, which causes the CTD (see wiki: https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=TapKey_-_Input

However, I have no idea why the value -1 is returned most of the time instead of the "real" value ...

 

Workaround :
I recompiled the script after commenting the line "Input.TapKey (Input.GetMappedKey (" Forward "))" -> I no longer have any CTD when a DD animation is triggered.

 

On the other hand, disabling this line suppresses the auto-walk detection test before triggering the animation; I do not know the impact but I think it is minimal and I have not yet noted anything negative on my playthrough.

 

I hope it will help those who encounter a CTD when starting a DD animation.

 

The proposed file contains the script zadLibs.pex and its source file zadLibs.psc
To install with your mod manager, or by hand by copying the files in data / scripts and data / source / scripts

 

A big thank you to the DD team for this superb mod, and those who ported it on SSE.FIX DD anims CTD.rar

 

With version 4.3 do I still need this fix???

Ok. There is official version of this. Straitjackets was planned to use any sex animation with no dd restrictions. But when i check a DCL sex animations filter script it detect straitjacket as bound one on instead of send choose non dd animations, it send to dcl animation filter. And there no animation for straitjacket because it not support to end here (bug). Because rapes ends with no animation. 

If you in xedit add to rendered device straitjacket keyword armbinder, then when you are in straitjacket it uses armbinder animations.

Use it with caution because then DCL and DD will think that straitjacket is armbinder and can break something more.

Sooo I'm not entirely sure which mod exactly is causing this problem but the thing is as follows: If I enable the animation filter in DD and my character is in full bondage and doesn't have any available animations, my character can still get engaged by creatures through aroused creatures, starting a scene but the creature immediately stops their animation and walks around, somtimes teleporting back to the player, who is still animating. I suppose this could either be caused by how sexlab handles animation filtering/ a scene when there are no animations available, or by aroused creatures because they shouldn't engage when no animation is available or maybe even by the DD filter.

Should I ask in another thread? Does anyone recognize this problem and/ or can point me in a direction?

 

I haven't done much testing yet. I'll try running the game only whit those mods and their requirements when I have time tomorrow, but I thought I'd ask anyway in case anyone has encountered this before...

Oh maybe one additional detail: When this happens I also get the console notification that no creature animations where found and another notification notifying me of a alias clear or something like that, saying that it indicates a thread didn't close cleanly.

Upon installing the mod, using MO2, I received the following message:

And I hit "Install anyway".

 

After that, my character started walking/running with her arms tied behind her back (with no active/visible devious devices on her whatsoever), and when facing me, she makes very short steps, like her feet are bound in chains, again, with no visible device on them.

 

Any ideas what might be causing that?

SOLVED!
In the mean time, I found a simple solution for the weird walking/running animation, as suggested in this post.

Sorry if this has been answered and I missed it, but I can't find any info on the events, as in what devices trigger what events and exactly what they do. Some of them seem obvious what they do, but some of the descriptions are very vague.

 

Also is the percent chance a chance for the event to happen every poling interval if appropriate devices are equipped? can multiple events fire at the same time or does it randomly pick one if multiples are appropriate?

Probably it's from DCL combat surrender rape: DCL not use DD filter it have own filter.

How it fix not sure. Maybe disable DCL surrender.

hmm I thought I disabled it.. I'll double check the next time I get to play.. Also the creatures I noticed the problem with were all friendly which is why I thought it might be caused by aroused creatures or something like that.. I'll have to experiment.

I'm new to both Devious Devices and Bodyslide Studio.  I recently added DD, Simple Slavery, and a number of other related LL mods to my load order.  Using Live another Life to start the game, I selected the option for my PC to be a princess who was captured by slavers.  All the devices used to bind my PC  were visible but her body was transparent.  I was told I needed to run Bodyslide and combine my PC's body type with the various devious devices.  So, how do I do that?  Is there a tutorial for that somewhere?  Step by step directions?

 

Also, when I installed DD, it gave me the choice of CBBE versus CBBE SE.  Is the latter simply CBBE for Special Edition?

CBBE and CBBE SE are two different bodies. The SE body is a complete remake, not a conversion. If you installed the LE version of CBBE, then select CBBE. If you installed the SE version of CBBE, then select CBBE SE. Most SE users will need the CBBE SE files.

 

When you look at the DD devices in bodyslide, do you have presets available? Check several.

Like this:

If you see presets, then just do a batch build in bodyslide. If you don't know how to do this, there are videos. just google how to use bodyslide with your mod manager.

 

If you don't see presets, install this fix, then batch build again:

You may also want to use this CBBE SE conversion, it does fix some things that were missed in the original conversion that is included with DD 4.3.

Hi folks,

Some mod (maybe could be this one or any of it's dependable mods) distributing DD items (mostly collars) to all actors in my game and it is driving me mad. First of all it is not really immersive when Ulfric or the Archmage in Winterhold has a slave collar, secondly it can break my game if everybody wear DD items. Can somebody help me to find out which mod is doing this, please?

i'm install mfg using MO2 and gag not open mouth when i load into game. Not sure if i installed it correctly or not

I can't get this to download from the Mega site where I am redirected. I have been trying for three days now and I have tried a dozen different ways including via my phone to my drop box. On my PC it gets to the end and just hangs - I have a 200 meg connection that is probably only 100 meg in reality - so it's not my connection. 

 

Why can't just be uploaded to LL and save hassle - as I can download with impunity from here?

 

I want the mod very much but I am starting to wonder if it is worth the frustration. 

 

Sorry to sound like I'm bitching - I can see you are a solid contributor to the site, I just don't understand why you make it so hard to actually obtain this file. The Integration and expansion downloaded fine as the are not so big.

 

Any help would be truly appreciated.

mfg fix is a dll and requires address library now. have you installed address library?

do you see the dll loading in your skse log?

 

\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE\skse64.log

 

It should look like this if it loaded correctly:

There's a file size limit on LoversLab so large files have to be either split into multiple parts (a pain/not always possible) or uploaded to a site like Mega.

It can't be uploaded to LL because the file is too large.

If you downloaded the integration and expansion, you downloaded the LE versions and should get rid of them.

The SE version is a single file that contains a conversion of the 3 LE downloads. It's an AIO installer so only the one download is needed.

 

If you're having trouble with mega, try another browser, clear your cache, disable all your browser addons.

Many thanks for the guidance!  After some trial and error, I finally have my "princess" (via the LAL scenario) appearing in a cage in an armbinder and wearing a skintight suit.  When she tries to move, however, her arms become unbound as well as her legs when the most she should be able to do is hop.    Did I do something wrong in setting this up?

I'd try waiting for a few minutes before moving, or just ignore it. It will usually fix itself on a cell change. Too many scripts firing at once can interfere with the pose being applied or staying applied. If it happens frequently, you can try on a minimal load order with just DCL, DD and their requirements.
