Unfortunately not, I've tried to seed devious device contraptions with npc's and I haven't had much luck. They tend to move around inside the device when you aren't in the zone or bug the device out entirely. I could never release that character specifically anyway, uses to many assets that I don't have permission to redistribute; she would probably look like playdough without them lol. So you may have to do without?

Instead of DD, what about trying Zaz? There are mods that make Zaz Furniture more consistent (At least when you're around.)

On second thought, I'm not sure if you can loot the birds.  If you can loot them I'm not sure what you get. There aren't feather ingredients for alchemy.

the bird surfing thing is a thing though, I did actually do that after seeing it on one of EpicNate's "10 things you might have missed" videos. (he's got about 50 of the videos. they're kinda fun to watch and play the "did I already know that" game).

Dragon surfing is more fun. Works especially well with the dragon at Dragontooth Crater. You can even attack the sucker while surfing him.

I can't imagine not using high poly heads and expressive facegen morphs together. Without those two mods, vampires look like crap.

What mod are you using instead? I used to use better vampire fangs and eyes, but I still had to make a sculpt of the character head before becoming a vampire and swap back to that in racemenu to get rid of the facial changes added by dawnguard.

expressive facegen morph's on its own fix's the sunken face bug which is perhaps why it was taken down but i dont mind most face's without the HPH stuff and on AE expressive facial animations isnt compatible or something so i droped the other after a few months using it, the before and after shots of that nord i liked the before on

Well, almost.  I couldn't make her an actual vampire without screwing up her facegeom (hence, the eyes).  Also missing some RM overlays, clearly.  Decent follower though.
