Ok I need to know what innkeeper, if your using a optional file, if you did a over-write with the optional File for 3.7.1, I have nothing, been 2 hours in game as a dark elf with 0 issues, thanks for the feedback, I just need more info :smile:

I met her and Hemming in her house in Rifton and we did our thing. Than i got notified to return to the inn for my reward, but Hulda did not have the dialogue to finish the quest.

 

 

Do you have your random quest time limit set to 48 hours in mcm?

So after you recompiled the related scripts:

 

With versioon 3.7.1

 

fixed: NPC now can approach player, even when not wearing tavern outfit.

partly fixed: NPC wearing tavern outfit can now work, BUT they only work 5pm to 3am. NPC cant yet work all day long like in 3.2.2 even if you untick the option for schedule.

 

I have a request, but I dont know if it is possible at this point anymore:

 

The new style of dialogue is quite entertaining but it takes away some role play elements because of the dialogues beieng very detailed. Now I cant for example play disguised, NPCs always know/asume my proper race even before seieng my face. SO even if I approach an NPC in a full body cat suit, they unimmersively know which race I am from or my character freelly undisuises it when talking to them.

Another example it that the dialogue sometimes suggests that my character is poor and needs some coin, but what if she is a rich slut who just works for the fun? (My caracter is a level 40 Nord who has over 200 000 septims in her treasure chest at breezhome, she aint a liar too, so she would never lie that she needs coin though she has more than enough :D). This are just a few examples. I think for the first playthrough it is a lot of fun to read through all the fresh and new dialogues, but simpler ("Are you still offering work" or "Are you looking for a good time" as an extra option would be fine too.

 

If possible can you put back the old dialogue system in play and let the player choose via MCM between a "role play-mode" or "legacy-mode" (for the old 3.2.2 dialogue style - and a "tailored-mode" or "smart-mode"- dialogue(like in your new 3.6+ version) ? I am very happy if it is only just the old 3.2.2 dialogue, nothing fancy. For me it was fine because it also needed less dialogue branches to get to the point of action.

Been having a go with 3.7.1

 

I really like the repurposing of the home delivery quest format for the new quest missions. Things like the stormcloak one fit in real well.

 

Not really sure if there's much reason to keep the normal home delivery quests though, unless they get more customizable. They stretch my imagination a little too far at the moment.

 

I've noticed a few problems. If you get one of the new quests from the inkeeper and they send you across the map, I generally don't see completion dialogue on that inkeeper when it's time to finish it up. Also, the quest doesn't specify from which innkeeper you got that specific quest, which means you have to remember which innkeep offered it to you... which I obviously didn't, or I'm not sure whether I did or didn'g because the completion dialogues often don't come up.

 

All in all this is great work though, and I'm really happy someone picked up development on this mod again.

Hi Caden, got the Quest "Mating with madness" even though i never left Whiterun and didn´t even start or finish the quest Pelagias madness.

So I hat to reload a savegeme because I coudn´t enter pelagia wing in solitude. I´m playing version 3.7 with a female breton. Keep up your great work on this mod :smiley:

i didn´t change the settings for the time limits. Don´t know, which value is standart. But i think, if the time limit exceeds, than, the actual quest should be canceled. And than you should get the "ready for work"-dialogue again. but the dialogue did not appear.  but, ok, i will try to set the timeout timers to max value.

 

Edit: ok, now with timers set to max, the matriarch quest works. I have to tell you, that i thaught, timers are for delay till quest becomes available again, didn´t know the were for time during you can finish the quest.

I was finally able to try the 3.7.1 version of the mod and like other people here i couldn't complete the new quests i tried, which were the matriarch and the ghost quests, because the innekeeper doesn't seem to have the dialog to end them

With the "bet your ass" quest, it selected a bandit as the other prostitute, so she attacks everyone when spawning. Is there a way for me to restart the quest and hope the alias fills with someone else?

Will take a look at it this weekend, going to throw in a quick update tonight to fix some simple things but as far as a legacy version, probably not, the time it takes to backtrack, i do not have, but as far as dialog choices, as you get wealthier in game yes that I can do

I agree, and I didn't realize this would be an issue, but the original quest were all within the hold , since i change that is some quest I need to change time limits and I will, see my answer above for a quick fix till this weekends update

Yes you can go into MCM under quest tab and hit reset all quest, I will get a fix out to that tonight

I will look inot that tonight, I have the condition set "getquestcomplete" for the Sheogorath but I must have it set wrong, if it comes up, just go into mcm, on the quest page and hit reset all quest, will get a fix by this weekend

What I get with this is ... " Do you have and work for a [  ], I need some septims."

It is an AND in there instead of any and my race shows up as the parenthesis.

 

I've noticed it does the same thing in the Mythic Dawn quest too.

 

I'm running a clean version of 3.7.1

hmm That means the quest alias "MyPlayer" didn't fill, try saving and loading that save, when you say clean save do you mean you removed the mod, went inot game saved without the mod installed, then reloaded mod?, what race are you using, is it a custom race?

 

What version did you upgrade from?

Ok so I am looking into your ideas, 3.7.3 I have a test dialog up there, you should receive a different response from the innkeeper after you reach level 20, if this works it may open up the legacy mode being able to happen, and quest aware as the npcs approach, also, allowing to comment on your net worth and being a rich slut, if you still hook for money but already have a certain amount of septims

What version did you upgrade from?

Not using custom race just a DarkElf from the standard game, yes I did a clean save and removed V3.2.2 but I solved the problem it bugged me that it sounded like it was working for others and not me so I went back and moved it around in the load order and bingo when I loaded about 10 spots from the bottom of my order it started working just fine. At least so far. I have to re-rank my girl to find out if the quest problems are still there but at least the dialogue problems are gone however the and instead of any in the dialogue is still there ;) but that's no biggy really. I'll let you know if I run into anything else and keep up the great work. Glad to see someone doing something with this mod as I always felt it had great potential.

 

The only other thing of note, is that during the mythic dawn arise or what ever it is when I agreed to strip my gear they still attacked me with weapons and to keep form getting killed I had to use the DA surrender which seems to have bulloxed the rest of what was suppose to happen. Don't know if they were suppose to attack me or if Defeat/DA just kicked in but you might want to look at that encounter different, if they are suppose to attack you may want to rethink that because if you do surrender your gear you could basically trigger an orgy type thing like have the guy you meet get "kinky" and want to tie you up before he happens to mention that WE are now going to gangbang you and afterwards have them "sell" you via the simple slavery mod if installed or just leave you tied up in the field for the guard to find. The guard got involved in my attack and killed the guy raping me which messed up even DA lol

 

And just an FYI I'm running 243 mods in this load so conflicts are inevitable.

Lol thanks I appreciate it, and yes this has to run toward the bottom of you load order,  I will take a look at the quest and see if I have a condition wrong of why they're attacking right off

I installed 3.7.3 and i tried the Matriarch Quest in Riften with the random quest cooldown set to 48 hours but after the sex scenes end and the quest log tells me to go back to the innkeeper i'm still not gettting any dialog from the innkeeper Keerava to complete it.

Ok I am adding the [RPG] tag to finish dialog , I think and issue may be people not seeing the dialogue because it's not generic, it different for every quest I added, also make sure this is low in load order, all quest are completing on my end but will upload a update with RPG tags today

I loaded a save i made before i was supposed to complete the matriarch quest (i had tried loading it several times hoping the dialog would appear) and then i checked all the dialog options thinking i might've missed the right one by accident but unfortunately the quest ending option just wasn't there, in fact i can tell you exactly the dialog options i had and they were the SLEN dialog option, the room renting option, the option to buy food, the option to receive a bounty and the "what's the word around town" option specific to Keerava.

ok thanks, and when you left mavens it said return to the inn, ok, I am looking into it..
