So, question for you folks here. With a 100 percent approach chance, how often does it typically take for a male PC to be approached by somebody? I'm playing a male Khajiit, and haven't been approached yet. I can initiate, but I'm hoping for more people coming up to me.

1. Make sure you have solicitation set to "both" or "passive". If it is only "active", then no one will approach you.

 

2. Make sure you have activated that guards can solicitate player, just in case you are in a cell with guards only.

 

3. The mod scans for clients every 25 seconds. You can set that down to 10 seconds if your mod setup and system allows it to go well on the long run. If the overall probability is 100% in the settings and the M-M approach chance is 100% too, then you will be literally having a 24/7 shift without a break unless you hide in the seewers. You cant go 10 meters without the dialogue popping up with someone interested. At least that is what happens on my M-F apporach settings at 100%. Thats why I have put them on 15% only.

 

Note: If you have approached a client before, he/she has a cool down before he/she will approach you or before you can approach them again! So testing this approach feature only works when all participants in the cell have 0 cooldown left. SO take a good nightsleep of at least 6-8 hours before testing.

Yeah. Like dances, stripping or like a client proposing a threesome or foursome or bestialitysome after your work shift ends lol. Or even a client offering money for you to be an escort and/or bodyguard (When player has reached a certain level) on his journey across the map.

For SE conversion is there anything other than jcontainers needed? I noticed vivid weathers contains a jcontainers64.dll if that's what we're missing.

Ahhh! Thank you very much! I never saw the Solicitation Both/Passive/Active thing. I totally missed it. I set it to both and now my cat dude is getting asked to suck cocks left and right. Thank you! XD

Does anyone have the random NPC actions just stop happening after some time in to the game? I have several individuals in each inn with clothing I added the Job "whore" keyword to them. Seems to always work fine when I start the game, but eventually, I stop getting the "a wench is on a job" and no more scenes. From what little I've read in the older threads is it has something to do with the storybook manager no longer working properly. This appears to be true as when the wench scenes stop, so does all the rest of typical vanilla dialogue. All you get is sandboxing, no dialogue between NPCs.

 

Anyone know how to reset the storybook manager? The only I've found that works is to remove the mod, launch the game, wait a minute or so, re-save, run the latest save through a save cleaner to remove the orphan scripts, reinstall the mods, and relaunch ... Even that doesn't fix the issue 100% ... sometimes the condition gets so baked into the save I can't get the NPCs to talk to each other.

 

On an FYI, my character seems to work fine, both active or passive.

Using that, things seem to be working fine in SSE. Animations can be very slow to start, but I believe that's a sexlab thing.

The most common cause iv'e found for this is too many mods adding scripts to NPC's each time you enter a cell.

The following is a list of examples, each on their own works perfectly, but lump them all together and stuff goes nutty.

 

Sexlab Aroused Redux

SLA Monitor Widget

Wet and Cold

Aroused Nips

Beeing Female

Defeat

Sleep Tight

and many many more

 

You need to go through each mod you have installed that adds scripts to NPC's and disable as many options as you can in their MCM.

 

For example do you have Wet & Cold installed?  if so you might want to stop it doing everything to NPC's and just have the player getting wet. ( I did that and noticed a huge upturn in performance. )

 

By reducing the impact of scripts on NPC's you lower the possibility that they will enter that 'sandbox' mode.  It wont work 100% and if the NPC to NPC idle conversations does get broken, just keep playing, after a few game days it should come back again.

 

Try Immersive Citizens as well, that tries to address this issue also, again it's not a 100% fix but every little helps.

Finally, it's update time 3.6.4 to 3.7.4 :classic_smile:

Just in case noone noticed it yet: version 3.7.4 gets 3 ITM's reported by TES5Edit. I decided to clean them for my game. Willsee what happens :classic_wink:

No; although in order to get the home/camp quests to work I had to manually install the MF_RP_Quest folder because Wyre Bash didn't know what to do with it.

Also, just for the record, I'm using the JContainers64 since I wasn't sure if the old JContainers would run on SE and it seems to work just fine.

Great mod. Is there any way it could be expanded to cover Inns added by other mods, such as Sailors Rest from the Windhelm overhaul "Snow City", and the like? I am able to get hired by Innkeepers in said Inns, but the NPCs in the Inns don't seem to recognize the mod. I can interact with them, but there are no dialogue options regarding the mod.

So I got a few ideas I wanted to share here. Maybe someday they could be used in this mod...

 

How about not being just a lowly wench, but a high class prostitute/escort? I would love to climb the social structures of the nobles in Skyrim. People like Erikur and Proventus and eventually the jarls would request my services and give me some benefits. And instead of just naming me the thane, I could get my own room in the palaces and halls of the jarls or even use their own rooms as mine. In some cases, there could also be some kind of blackmailing system... 

 

Also, if possible, this system could be used in the Dark Brotherhood questline, where you could get access to the emperor using your status as a high class prostitute.

 

Then there is the Thalmor. Elenwen could request your services in one of her parties and this could also be somehow used in main questline to get access to the Thalmor embassy.

 

Also, what about becoming the madame yourself? There could be a whole questline about buying/building your own brothel and hiring the staff. I think there are a few mods that do this, but I'd like to see it implemented in this mod.

Thanks for the reply. Took your advice and removed/turned down all the mods I could find that run scripts on NPCs. I even removed all the Job Keyword "Whore" articles of clothing I had injected into the game, and carefully "equipitem"d a couple of Sanctified amulets of Dibella to a few individuals to test ... Had a successful run on one new profile - up to level 15. However, started another profile today ... Worked fine for five minutes, now can't get anyone to initiate conversation ... Any other ideas on what I can do once it happens? Will cleaning the buffer help (Console=PCB)?

 

A real bummer as this NPC on NPC action is the primary reason I use the mod. Any suggestions on other mods that do the same kind of action - i.e., targeted NPCs only, not just generic random action mods.

I have this problem too and have never really got rid of it ( It's a vanilla bug ).

So I installed Immersive Citizens and RDO ( Relationship Dialogue Overhaul ) and placed both beneath Live Another Life in my load order ( right at the bottom just above my Bashed Patch ) and that seemed to help a lot.

My NPC to NPC conversations work until I visit Riften, then they always break, but after leaving Riften if I just find a quiet place, like a small cave or house, save and quit, then re-load, they come back again.

It's really trial and error with what will work for you, we won't have the same mods installed, so your Skyrim will work different than mine.

All I can do is tell you what's helped me and hope you get similar results too.

As for PCB, It's not something I use very much, and not for this problem, I have used it in the past if entering one of my player homes to find grass or small rocks in it!

Iv'e never noticed it affect the NPC's and their conversations.
