EDIT: Especially because you aren't JUST asking for a visual tutorial to install a mod. But how to use the tools to create a mod. That is something a very small percentage of modders will do. There's PLENTY of youtube tutorials on Photoshop and Blender, and 3Dmigoto is a beast of it's own. I still don't quite understand it enough to volunteer my time. You learn the tools and then apply that knowledge to modding. Hardly any modder is going to invest their time to literally, essentially create a sample mod for you. As if they have to go that far, you aren't going to be able to take that knowledge and create something for the community. No offense, but that's largely the case. This is a skill that you have to do the leg work on. Start with photo editing and 3D modeling tutorials on youtube. For both Photoshop and Blender.

 

 

Now, if you want to incentivize someone to essentially write/record a tutorial to start modding this game, that is solely dedicated to this game, try commissioning someone. Unless money is on the table, given how old the game is, and a nude mod exists, I'm sorry to say, but you probably aren't going to get what you want.

 

PS: Largely only two to three people in this community have shown they can mod this game. (Literally create a modification.) They've already provided mods. If you want them to help you get up and running, you seriously have to pay for it. Otherwise, they would have already done what you have asked.  And no, I'm not one of them. I only packaged what other people created. Plus wrote a tutorial on how to get their mods actually running in game for everyone.

 

PPS: @Dante91 @NovaRain are the two individuals who'd I suggest contacting for information on how to create a mod for this game. But again, unless you can commission them for what you want, I wouldn't bother. @Spewn is another one. But I don't think he visits this forum anymore. These three individuals are the ones who've released mods. They know more then I do. As I'm merely a packager. I can package the files for this game, nothing else. The only game I've 3D modeled for was Bullet Girl Phantasia, and it was very primitive. Moderchan released a better mod so I still use his.

First, modders help each other. The guy clearly wasn't a modder. That's why I said a modder teaching an absolute newcomer is a HUGE mountain to climb. Proof is the interaction on the prior page directly after my post. Two modders who have different skill levels helping each other. Because they KNOW, the knowledge won't go to waste. But you wouldn't know about that. Because you are a thread bumper. Not a creator or even a contributor.

Woo! Just what I needed to make my favourite game even better. I really appreciate everyone's hard work on this. I actually managed to get it all set up first time, no troubles (which is rare for me since I usually suck with anything tech related, though I can handle Minecraft mods). I can assure this works. I packaged up the file with your other releases and tested using a 100% save. This CG shows up. So here's a full package. All latest CGs including this one, plus a nude mod. Sorry if this comes off as rude. But honestly, it's been so long since I first got these mods working. I personally wouldn't know the "common problems." I haven't messed with my install besides updating the mod files when Nova releases another CG. As Bandai hasn't given me a reason to reinstall the mod from scratch due to them preventing it from loading. So you are on your own. I cannot troubleshoot any issues you have. Due to me being unwilling to start from scratch on my install.

Your character's breasts look much wider then i can get them to, is there any secret stuff that makes them wider? Also i am sorry if you already have said anything about it.

Take this info with a grain of salt, as I honestly can't remember, but it's probably a setting in the original character creator. I probably maxed out the boob slider. If that is not the case, I honestly haven't a clue. As the mod itself does not change breast size. And I have done absolutely no modding to my character. I just installed the nude mod.

 

If you can't reproduce the look, let me know. I'll backup my saves and try to recreate my character. Or, if you want, I can give you my save. But as I said, I literally just messed with the character creator. Then installed the nude mod. As fatal bullet does not have any breast enlargement mods that I know of. Just the nude mod/CG mod. So any modifications done to my character, were through the character creator built into the game.

Huh strange, Thanks for replying and sorry for taking so long to get back to you, I'll try to mess around with it and see if i can somehow get them wider, and share what i find

 

EDIT: i found that the Shoulder Width adds some beef on top as it increase some depth to the torso, kinda has an effect on the breasts i guess

1) He quoted me $38, with the potential for that to go up once the mod is done. This paid for the mod (again, could go up depending on complexity) and for him to buy the game as it was on Steam sale. (So if you commission him, the quote would start at $30. Or potentially less as he did charge slightly more due to the game having a character creator. So if you say wanted one of the NPC characters modded, he might charge less. But you'll have to ask him about that. I'm sharing the information for my specific commission. Yours will of course vary. Either up or down.)

 

2) He allows you to pick how you want the commission to be distributed. Either for Free, you monetize it yourself (Can allow you to get your commission back if enough people pay for it.) or you can give him permission to monetize it himself. In which case it'll go up on his Gumroad.

 

Given that information, I chose free distribution for this first mod. Meaning I can upload it anywhere and so can everyone else. Excluding pay sites of course. But for my next commission I will be allowing him to monetize it himself. So the next mod will not be free. It will be put up on his Gumroad. (That is assuming he accepts the second commission.)

Good to know. Can you ask him add pubic hair as an option too? I don't see any modders done that which is a turn off for me.

I've already commissioned him boss. I'll ask him how much the option is and whether someone else can pay him for the additional option. As honestly, I'm personally not interested in pubic hair. But if it's a low charge, I'll pay for it. Depends...

 

I contracted COVID and am just now able to return back to work. So my frugal spending has hit quite a snag. So beyond the money I made sure to set aside in case he returned with a higher quote based on time, I don't have much money budgeted left for frugal spending.

Commission him man. That's how you get him to do mods. He doesn't take free requests.

 

To everyone else - I will offer troubleshooting for a LIMITED time. But the mod was honestly built from the ground up to be extremely easy to get working, and work as soon as you boot up the game. So with Irastris' instructions, you should have absolutely no issue getting it running. And considering the game doesn't seem to have gotten an update in well over a year, there should be absolutely no mod breaking updates that should occur. Buy the game on Steam, with or without all the DLC, follow instructions, and enjoy the mod.

No you didn't do it right.

 

You are missing a pak file. You have TWO sig files, but only ONE pak file.  You need the shared .pak file, and one of the variations. Plus the two sig files. For a TOTAL of 4 files. Two paks, Two sigs.

 

Example :

SAOFB-WindowsNoEditor_5_LewdBattleJacketF_0_Shared.pak

SAOFB-WindowsNoEditor_5_LewdBattleJacketF_0_Shared.sig

SAOFB-WindowsNoEditor_5_LewdBattleJacketF_1_Topless.pak

Not yet, figured I'd nail it down early next month. A few days before I pulled the trigger on commissioning him again. Why? Any ideas?

 

The only thing for certain I know is it's going to be an NPC character. Most favorite characters for the series are Asuna, Sinon, Leafa, . But I want a character that you can use in your party near enough the entire game.

 

I would also like to do an outfit mod. Honestly. But that would be a THIRD mod if I decided to do it. The one I was thinking of for this was Custom Z Suit F, or Flak Top F, topless. As I love these two costumes. I currently run Custom Z suit on both my character and Arfsys. So having the outfit topless would be awesome.

 

But these would be the only other mods I'd commission from him. As honestly, while I have a TON more ideas, I'm not going to spend a fortune commissioning someone for mods on a really old game.
