Those are absolutely awesome! I am looking forward to the release of ZAP9 even more now (and I didn't think it was possible)! Worik and I will be fighting who gets to post copies of these on the Guess this Location thread! ?

This pack is pretty nice :D Some nice stuff in this pack.

But sadly there are just way to many animations in this pack.

So its pretty much going to be a choice between Devious Devices or Zaz V8+.

Since devious devices are going into their own framework and moving away from ZaZv7 as a requirement as well.

Way to easy to hit animation limits even if you use fnis xxl.

Even if fnis supports 20k animations, you cant really use that many since game start crashing after 12-15k animations. Depending on your setup.

Never used to have those issues a few years back in skyrim, then we didnt have enough animations :P

In future you will have to choose, what you prefer. This problem is not new and has been discussed. Zap 9 will of course add hundreds of more furnitures to the game with all variations what are even possible to create. When I´m done, I like to choose from the pack for my mods from every different corner of the game a suiting solution, with access of hundreds of different IDLES, offsets and furnitures for inside, outside and a bunch of theme-suiting elements for BDSM gaming.

 

As far you get into animation-troubles, you can always decide, which pack you like. There will never be a CUT for existing versions. For a normal mod is zap always up-n-down compatible and if the quest-mod doesn´t use zap 8 or higher, you don´t need it. If you otherwise like the contence of zap and it´s items, you can of course make it your mod´s dependency and create some new quest-mods, new locations, or use some old mods which should be always compatible with it.

 

I´d say for zap8/plus and DDxyzf,  you can easily use both !! ...but the next release....(...) I mentioned that some time ago, you´re running into trouble if you want it all (as far as FNIS is at it´s real limit with "skyrim-idle-feeding"-which I don´t believe at this point-I still have the hope, that the way FNIS works, can be optimized and handles maybe it´s idles in a different way in future-this depends of course on the ideas of FORE).

Though could you make a variant where you cut it a bit shorter? Like keeping the knees free?

As far I could understood takes NI -override the SKSE for the effect. Inside of the nif-file, I put a new data string into and the override mod can "see" that clothing and swaps the character in heels little higher...so the process is not inside of the CK by a spell anymore, instead you can fix the wanted height directly to your item...it means we can create stalks for children?...or for grown ups as well. That "spell" is history...only question I have is: what is with the sound on the surfaces.....(stone, wood, grass...etc).

This sort of furniture got a new folder with the name "Wall Furnitures"....under the same position, you´ll find all their suiting doors and accessoires.

Quick question, is it normal that Pole Bondage 1, 2 and 4 keep the PC into 1st person perspective, while Pole Bondage 3 and 5 allow for 3rd person by moving the mouse (thus rotating the camera)?

 

I checked the "Tight Post Pole Bondage Series" in the animation list but there, all 5 animations are the same...

While T.ara can (and will) give you the definitive answer, the general answer is that many furniture items are best used when the player is already in 3rd person. When an item is "close" that is there is not enough room around it, the camera will often not let you move from 1st to 3rd person after you enter it (this is true in other mods and in vanilla Skyrim as well - you just don't see it much in vanilla Skyrim because of how Bugthesda placed it's furniture). So, best if, when you are going to put your PC into furniture you switch to third person first.

Btw, this is also true with many animations.

Thank you for your reply. I now realize I worded things wrongly. I was definitely playing in 3rd person view when activating the furniture. The activation itself forces me into some sort of a 1st person view from inside the PC. (Rotating the camera allows you to see the PC's hair and teeth.) Bondage Pole 1, 2 and 4 keep me like this. Bondage Pole 3 and 5 return to 3rd person view by rotating the camera.

Do you have any control over where that pole is located (like you would in Home Sweet Home or with Jaxonz Positioner)? If so, try moving the pole away from all other furniture and walls and see if that doesn't clear up your problem.

related to the furniture issures-yes, those furnitures are exactly not ideal and I´ll change their quality-some may also get little different animations-because when I made them, I could not work like I can do now....Chris ("ZazChris", Master of ZAP) showed me a way to reduce this problem to a minimum. Sometimes can a furniture be standing very much unideal, so that the cam can also be stucking inside of other meshe´s collision...if you place a furniture in future, you should test it, if it goes to the wanted CAM-STATE, so that the player can "enjoy" her/his" stay in that helpless situation...otherwise you can press "3", if you play with sexLab...(there are mods, who do hindeer this-I know), and so I try to solve this problem, piece by piece:-)

Of course I will go on with this, too...but those manadrin dresses suddenly catched my interest...please be patient-I had that request a longer time ago-I did not forget that....I have that things in mind and try to realize all the stuff, as soon my "modding"- "skills" are reaching that stages.......gg

While the stuck camera is certainly more important, i'd like to request another fix (if possible):  is it possible to check if NiO high heel effects are in place and remove them if somebody enters a device? There are a couple of transformation mods (more or less) out there which add high heel effects directly to your feet which means using them not even unequip boots or anything is a solution and my character is hovering above the devices. 

I think this already was a thing in ZAP 6/7 but i'm not 100% sure.

I think this already was a thing in ZAP 6/7 but i'm not 100% sure.

if that has been in zap 7, it should also be in zap8, but I personally think it´s NOT there inside. We can of course make a character to be naked...maybe also to be without high-heels...but I think I should try to get a solution in the time, shortly before the next release then...zap could offer such a mechanic/script, but will not have it on the furnitures ready-to go. This is also for a scripter....AND !!! some furnitures are specially made for HIGH HEELS..there´s a pillory now and some poles and torture poles, which can be used perfectly in heels...this CAN look quite sexy btw.  Heels are maybe little-"non-lore-friendly" but I personally think, that I should support some furnitures, who fit to the "normal" heels-height...

Normal furnitures are taking the effect of "SCALE TO 1:1" (race to scale), which is always active. If the character is in heels, the heel-height is simply added to "normal ground height and a pillory has to be lifted and in zap you can in this case use the pillory for heels. If you use this sort of pillory, you will have a problem, if you use the paired animation, as the NPC behind will probably "fly" (hover) over the ground. A proper solution could only be reached if the animation could "see", if an NPC wears heels or not and bend the body little more down in heels...this is not possible with our animation-system and that´s why we can´t really solve this. You can only put both pillories into the same room and let the "whipping in wheels" act on the higher pillory and the paired animation-stuff on the other one. This is only to be solve-able by the quest.

An auto function for NPC to be fully naked would harm the creativity...I like to see my woman in clothing...too....sometimes it´s also sexy, if the girl has this wonderful LONG legs in heels in the pillory...maybe another script could makes heels-furniture could "dress" the actor with heels;-)-SO: this last idea is being realized: if you enter the high heels-pillory (and if you have heels inside of you loaded mods, you can let the pillory-action let the heels equip...together with other clothes you like to see...no problem.

 

NI override I must see in the game (i never have tested it yet) and I hope I will like it.
