I have installed the latest versions. sexlab version from December 6th Double check which version of skyrim you have. I had the SSE and downloaded the AE content, but my version is still considered the SE version and not the AE version. So instead of using SL 1.66 like I thought I needed, I actually needed SL 1.63.
xx36 Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 (edited) I noticed while ago, that there is an issue with npcs added by light (espfe) plugins . Their sex skills keep resetting on restaring game. It doesn't matter, If MCM option to seed sex stats is on or off, it still resets. Is there a way to prevent it, apart from changing espfe to esp format? Edited January 5, 2024 by xx36
TEQUILA_SANSET Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 ANIMATIONS ARE NOT PLAYED. the characters get into position, there is sound, but there is no animation

Do you even know which version of Skyrim you are trying to run? Because if you don't know that, everything you are trying is futile. Sorry to sound rude but your first post about DLL errors has not been solved?

You should check if the actor is unique, writing "IsUnique" on the console with the actor selected. The unique flag is settled with the Creation Kit or the SSEEdit directly on the NPC's definition. Once the actor was loaded on the game, will be useless try to change they unique flag because doesn't get updated even after disable and enable the actor again.

" One of the tiny little details about using +2 year old versions is that not everyone is going to go the extra mile and keep those old versions up to date. Address Library is a requirement. Install it. Make sure it's the proper one for your version of the game. Yes thank you I know that it's just that there's such a conflict of opinion over which version you should use and we'll there's still some mods that have not been ported to AE so I was just a bit confused I guess especially since my sexlab has been acting up these past few days Btw that reminds me once you click clean system you have to exit everything and return to gameplay right? Will sexlab then inform me when the cleaning is done or will it just be done? Also guys please suggest if I should remain on SE or switch to AE. Thank you

Thank you I aksed myself the similar question if I should stick to LE, move to SE or go AE. Since it is a new build anyway, I decided for AE (1130). MO2/rootbuilder a manual backup of the vanilla directory and such measures are hopefully enough to keep unrequested Bugthesda updates from breaking my setup

Nikett7 Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 Hi, this is now incompatible with 1.6.640, why not use https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32444?tab=description?

Or how about you go back to v1.65 as its clearly stated that v1.66 is for Skyrim 1.6.1130. I mean, yeah, this version is not compatible with 1.6.640. User error. I used the command to check on mother, sister, and daughter from MILFS , and they're all unique by default. Their sex skills reset on reloading save, or restarting game. It's not only these, I had an issue earlier with some other followers, who were unique as well. I'm using Skyrim version 1.6.640 , with SKSE 2.2.3, and Sexlab Framework 1.65 downloaded from Github. I use Sexlab Utility Plus v20231003 without esp for furniture, scripts only. Edited January 12, 2024 by xx36

FulfillingVoid Posted January 10, 2024 Posted January 10, 2024 (edited) I think the answer to this is no, but is there a way to detect when sexlab is stripping items? I'd like to hook into when that happens as opposed to the animation start, as this often happens far before. OnObjectUnequipped isn't a good place to check, as the actor typically hasn't been added to a thread yet. Thanks Edited January 10, 2024 by FulfillingVoid Extra info

The OnObjectUnequipped is the most common solution and if the actor was added to the scene you can check for the "SexLabAnimationFaction" or the "SexLabActive" keyword on the actor. The problem is when the strip is used before the scene start because there is more than one way to do it . If you want to prevent one item from be stripped the most recommended is add it to the SexLab NoStrip list or set it the keyword. But also that doesn't work when another mod is using it's own way to force the stripping.
decaluka Posted January 11, 2024 Posted January 11, 2024 Regarding the development of SexLab going forward, are there any plans to work on sex sounds - notably properly syncing sound to animations ? I know Ostim does that and it is pretty immersive. But from what I understand, the sounds would have to be integrated or marked inside the SexLab animations proper? Thanks for your work.
danna233 Posted January 11, 2024 Posted January 11, 2024 Please help me how can I force actors to undress during sex. I have all the boxes ticked and I think that this is the fault of another mod, the animations of which are launched for some reason in clothes. Perhaps you can tell me what function to enable in sexlab so that everything that enters the scene will be undressed). Or what do I need to check in the fashion to make sure that it is his fault, maybe there is something that needs to be added to the scripts or to the plugin)
Guest Posted January 11, 2024 Posted January 11, 2024 I'm having an issue with my animations, not sure if it's the loader or sexlab itself. Every animations works except for humans. A number of 8 animations will load, most of them are furniture related and 2 of them are regular. My problem is that none of the other regular animations that I've registered will show during scenes. I pulled up the hotkey list and it only shows these couple 8 animations. Everything else loads fine but not these. I have no idea what's causing this. I use vortex and when I deploy mods the game runs fine but I have the human animations issues, but when I deploy mods and then run fnis manually the game crashes on opening a save. I then go back and re-deploy and it says 62 changes were made by fnis data and tells me to use newer file. The game will then work but the same human animation issues Does someone know of a fix. I reinstalled fnis packs, sexlab loader but nothing worked.

As I stated above though, OnObjectUnequipped doesn't work in the cases I've checked as (I'm guessing) mod authors are calling the strip function before adding to the SL thread. So when the object is stripped, SL doesn't have the player registered for an animation yet. I was hoping there was an event we could subscribe to (I couldn't find one) or a round about way to hook into it otherwise. Mortal weapons and armor was kind of able to do this by hooking into the animation start, but it was hit and miss, probably for the same reasons.
