Guest Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 OMG... I FEEL DUMB... the default for those PCs is BALD!!! Hairs are there... >.> I was looking at the folder structure for the mods, and saw 3 hair styles there, was like "Can't be that simple". So got into game picked one of those toons... and started just scrolling through hair styles. Yeah Default for those toons is bald.
gregathit Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 It's the simple things in life that confuse us the most.... Happy your working!
z4m0lx3s Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Guys, I need some help. I think I've tried getting MBP to install properly for a few weeks now. Up to now I have used an 1Gb OMOD that's floating around with MBP, MBP++, X117++ all in one, and it works fairly well. However the body textures do not load for some of the races. The worst example is orog (not that I'd EVER play that hideous race) where the face textures work perfectly but the body textures are all stretched and misaligned. But the same goes for a few other races, where the nipples do not show, there is no body hair, etc. So I tried following the instructions from rogue13 (http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=1602) and I ran into exactly the same problem. I followed those instructions to the letter, yet the end result is some races do not display body textures. My setup is DMRA body, BBB animations, DMRA full armor replacer w/BBB, MBP, MBP++, X117++, etc. Everything works, except those pesky textures. Do I need DMRA specific textures? What am I missing?
Guest Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Load order... I think I know what your talking about... in a previous post there is a link for the recommended load order for all Lovers/MBP/x117 mods. I was having an issue where certain NPCs were walking around with purple hands and feet, until I got around to fixing my Load Order, wasn't going to worry about it till I got a few mods actually working... was having issues with finding most up to date mods and the req. mods for them... Only problem I have left to fix is LoversTamagoHud... can't seem to get pluggy to work and I have no idea why.

The colours are the correct ones, so the orog for instance has a green body like it should. But instead of having a green texture that would cover the whole body and give it detail, it is just a green colour has seams along the legs, middle of the back, etc. Same goes for other races. Load order is set with BOSS, and all the esp's are recognized properly. I made sure with Tes4edit that there are no conflicts, that the paths to those textures are correct and that all the files referenced are there. And I made sure in OBMM that archive invalidation is applied (BSA redirection). That's what's driving me nuts, I can't understand why it's happening.

gregathit Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 What happens when you move xeorace.esp to the very bottom of your load order?
z4m0lx3s Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 What happens when you move xeorace.esp to the very bottom of your load order? So moving xeorace.esp to the very bottom does nothing because it's just an empty file that's needed to load the xeorace.bsa. However I did uncheck them from the load order, and the texture issues were still there. I will try using another body that is not DMRA BBB, that might help. I am starting to think these textures are not made for DMRA because as I mentioned before the orog race loads some sort of green and black texture but it's horribly misshapen.
gregathit Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I think they were made for HGEC and its derivatives. I can tell you that Xeosp++ is much more friendly with MBP however it does require first installing Xeosp 1.0 then Xeosp++ over the top of it. If your interested here is some night reading: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=474&page=6&highlight=xeo+sp%2B%2B See post 53 above

The races added by xeorc4 actually work perfectly, so I'm just going to use those when playing. My concern was that a mod like lovers would require some of the races that don't function, but honestly I don't care anymore. I give up.
gregathit Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 No, lovers doesn't require anything from xeo at all. It is really geared towards MBP and x117. The only other advice I can give you is to make sure that there is nothing at all mesh\texture wise in your data folder that can override the bsa. I have had some of the same struggles you have had with archive invalidation and bsa's, honestly keeping your meshes\textures directories free of unused things is what has worked best for me. As always back anything up before deleting!

Is there any way to make MBP work with BSAs? What I mean is package that monster OMOD I have as a bunch of ESPs with one BSA? I always had much better luck with this format than a bunch of loose files.
11Z11 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 well, I'm at the point where I have installed xeosp++ and it seems to be working fine except for the eyes called xeosp++,they are all black.... i'd also like to ask about the chocolate elves MBP++ Module - Chocolate Elves v0.3.8 I installed the choco elves right after MPB(the normal one not ++) then MBP++ and activated the MBP++ choco elves esp yet they are not available in race selection...any idea if i need something else or where i screwed up MOD list below 00 Oblivion.esm 01 Beautiful People 2ch-Ed.esm 02 x117race.esm 03 Unofficial Oblivion Patch.esp [Version 3.3.3] ++ Oblivion Citadel Door Fix.esp 04 Knights.esp 05 Knights - Unofficial Patch.esp [Version 1.1] 06 DLCShiveringIsles.esp 07 Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch.esp [Version 1.4.0] 08 newstartV3.esp 09 Cernasite - DragonEyes.esp 0A Cernasite - OracleEyes.esp ++ x117Race ENG Race.esp ++ x117 Merged SKSRENs Hair Modules.esp ++ Beautiful People 2ch-Ed Disable BandBlindMask.esp ++ Beautiful People 2ch-Ed Disable Odd Eyes + One Eyed.esp ++ Beautiful People 2ch-Ed Vanilla Race.esp ** Beautiful People 2ch-Ed Sheogorath Eye.esp ++ Beautiful People 2ch-Ed Merged Hair Modules.esp ++ Beautiful People 2ch-Ed Merged Eye Modules.esp 0B Beautiful People 2ch-Ed MS Elves - NoSc.esp ++ Beautiful People 2ch-Ed Merged SKSRENs Hair Modules.esp ++ Beautiful People 2ch-Ed Chocolate Elves.esp ++ Beautiful People 2ch-Ed ENG Dialog.esp ++ Beautiful People 2ch-Ed ENG Race.esp 0C xeosp++.esp 0D Bashed Patch, 0.esp
gregathit Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Move xeosp++ below your bashed patch and rebuild it without xeosp++ in it and you won't have any more googly eyes As to the choco's I am not seeing the custom race patch in your load order. Without it you can't get them playable. http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1815 Oh, and don't forget to delete the the two folders per those instructions for installing xeosp++ so it is forced to use the bsa You may have already done this. You will find the sp++ version plays SO much nicer with MBP
11Z11 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 well i got 2 choco elves showing now,i fixed it by moving the choco elves esp and the x177 esp down further...but aren't there suppose to be mini choco elves added by the x177 race?(have 177++ by the way) Guess i'll check by looking in the archive...if there aren't mini choco added by default i don't really care as i'm merely adding x177 for compatibility...still there is tamago club...assuming the generator even recognizes the chocos eyes are still messed up and some races are not in english guess i'll try reorganize my order some more read some more...getting there....
gregathit Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 11z11 - most of your problems can be solved by running boss to fix your load order and then creating a bashed patch to merge the races together. Remember if you have xeoSP++ NOT to put it in your bashed patch but rather place it dead last in your load order and you won't see any googly eyes.
beck11 Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Nice job, Greg. Had to reinstall Oblivion this past week *grrr*, your links to useful posts helped alot. God knows I cant be bothered to sort through the thread. Funnily enough I managed to get this bitch of a mod running by doing things totally the wrong way around but it works for me finally and I guess thats all that matters
KinkieGurl Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 There is an update for MBP on Nexus, it has been updated to 0.98.
beck11 Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 I think I may have found a way to fix the mismatching colors on NPC in XEO with out using "bFaceGenTexturing". Try using this mod(http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10811) and set your ini to bUseFaceGenLOD=0 bFixFaceNormals=0 bFaceGenTexturing=1 Try it out and see if NPCs now at least have somewhat matching colors for their face and body. Its not 100% accurate but its close enough and it makes them less of an eyesore. I knew that you can set bFaceGenTexturing to 1 and still be able to fix NPCs in XEO cause I've been doing it for a long time but I never knew which mod it was that was fixing the problem till recently when I had to re-install my game. With this method you can now choose your newly made characters skin color and tone. I should note that Im using the oily high rez texture but it should work with normal xeo textures too cause like I said I've been using this method for a long time with XEO. I recommend setting the ini first then going into the game and see if the NPC have skin color issues. If they do then apply the mod and check it again. Its easy to remove the mod since it has a unique file path or you can use OBMM to load the mod. Try it out and tell me if it works, Im interested to know if this really does fix the problem for anyone else.
cyb3r Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 could someone tell me which exact packages i need to get the ice elf xeo II working? (only one i'm really interested in tbh)
slash69 Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Hello, I've been trying to get XEO5 working with MBP 1.4a and MBP++ as well as XEO ICE ELF II and the 'Oblivion - The L World Mod' which changes all the males in Xeo5 to females. However, Xeo5 and MBP don't seem to work well together. After doing some reading, I read somewhere that Xeosp and Xeosp++ are nearly the same as Xeo5 with some tweaks to make it work better with MBP. So I'm wondering this: 1. Would I be able to use XeoSP with XeoSP++ in place of Xeo5? 2. Does XeoSP have any considerable differences from Xeo5 (e.g. general style of npcs?) 3. Do I need any of the older Xeo files or anything else to run XeoSP? 4. Does The L World work with XeoSP/Are there any other mods which do the same thing for XeoSP/Are there any workarounds or fixes for this? Thank you very much.
bebek Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 help.. my xeo4 for some reason break other texture, npc or when I choose race now have black right eyes. there is a thread saying same thing, http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=2741 he solved it saying it load order just mess up but never actually post the right order , so plz someone help. I have HGEC, ren, MBP++, x17 I put xeo4 after all that pack loaded, with all lovers on bottom, but still doesnt work
Raurie Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 It looks like a fun mod and i would love to try it but my computer does not have the space anymore. this being said i have just one thing to say.... this mod is 100kb, requiring an even bigger mod, which has four parts... (just looked now not as big as i had thought but still kinda big). why does this mod require such large amounts of space... it's like thats supposed to be the only thing in your oblivion game. (maybe its just be because my computer isn't as powerful but it seems like i'm crashing from enough stuff already)
Raurie Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 There is now a combined package of MBP 1.4a' date=' MBP++ 0.9.0 and x117 0.76a in one ~750MiB omod available. Simplifies the installation somewhat; I found the link on http://bbs.3dmgame.com/viewthread.php?tid=1741954&extra=&page=1 Doesn't include any of the XEO varieties, and I'm still not sure which one should get and which order to install any of them in, but that's a later issue. This pack seems to work well for me however (make sure to follow the load order on the linked-to page). [/quote'] It would simplify the instalation if i could find an actual file to download on this sight... so confusing there.
