AC2 Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Hello, new here. I installed XEOSP a day ago, and i ran into some minor problems. It seems everytime i go to the imperial city(especially in market district) it becomes extremely buggy and crashes. There was something odd i noticed earlier today too but i think i fixed it(everytime i went into first person and out of it the yellow exclamation appeared and random exclamation marks popped out at random places(sometimes in the middle of the air,the sky was pink ect... 0-o..) Anyways, i bashed xeo and placed it on top of my load order and on the bottom but the problem still persist...any ideas? i run 251 mod and this never happened before so its safe to assume its xeo doing this...
Liyalai Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 I've tried installing the mods in different orders, and I can't ever seem to get anything close to what the screenshots are showing.
Guest Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 What's the difference between XEOSP and XEORC4? Would love a Xeo mod without any changes to beast races and orcs if it exists.

GTRanma Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I had that happen to me once, I think it has to do with you downloading another 'eye' mod, like Better Looking Eyes or whatnot. Since they are a different size, they just won't show up. Not sure how to fix it, someone else hopefully can tell you. I ended up just clean installing everything
EvenstarGW Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Hmm...SOmeone on moderteam made a compilation Omod of MPB1.4a+MBP++0.84a+x117++0.78' date=' file size is 900mb. Â I'll download and upload it...what's a filehost that can host that big of a file = =; [/quote'] Â Now is that all you would need to get MBP up and running? Â I'm looking at a new install and I figured now would be a good time to upgrade from Beautiful People to MBP and I'm just looking for a starting point. Â Thanks for the link regardless! Â Same question. Downloading it now to have a look. Â Also, I've held off on MBP until now because all I read everywhere is people having trouble getting it running and very little description of what it does exactly (maybe it is there but I cba to try and decipher all the nonsense Google translate makes of those sites). I already have COBL redoing the vanilla races and adding the ones I wanted most. Not really looking for more elves or anime races, but I don't mind if they're just there for the player. So I'd like it if it stays off my existing races and NPC's but I'm not sure if that's the case. Basically, the only reason I'm getting it is because a lot of the lovers mods require it and I'd like to try out some new ones. So the question is, can I install it without messing up my Vanilla (Cobl-modded) races, and without touching vanilla NPC's? Â

  MBP, X117, etc doesn't really mess with NPC, etc.  That would be the Xeoserie.
EvenstarGW Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 I've been looking through it and while it doesn't mess with NPC's directly, I see where all the problems are coming from. It flat out replaces the Vanilla eye meshes with Ren eyes. This will mess up any other mod that depends on those meshes being vanilla. Going to take me some work to get this to run the way I want it to. Â To answer the original question, apparently the package is not complete. There's a bunch of plugins for Hair, but no hair meshes (just some egm's for x117 without matching nifs). So where to get the hair, are they in the package from the OP?
baronight Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I followed suggestion from Bluewr in regard to installation order of MBP and XEO. I use XeoRc4 then proceed to XEOSP and XEOSP++ (i followed Chekist installation method of XEOSP++ http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=474&page=6) Â After that, problem start showing off on the NPC, missing hair, missing eyes, and some NPC looked uglier (i do not know if this is the default face from the game or XEO actually make them less attractive). Anyone encounter this problem? Â now i had to backtrack to XeoRc4 in order to avoid the problem =( Â Â
EvenstarGW Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Aha, found the hair, although I did have to scale them to 1.17 manually. The eyes were a lot more work though. I've made sure it doesn't replace my vanilla eye meshes and removed all changes it made to vanilla eye textures. Then I altered all the vanilla races and removed all non-vanilla eyes from them. Did the opposite for all the newly added races, and assigned them the new eye mesh which I renamed. Think I've taken care of most of the googly eyes now, except for a few separate plugins I have yet to alter.
Dee383 Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I Downloaded XEO5obse Do I Need Install Any Earlier Version Of XEO Before I Install XEO5 Â I Have All The MBP & X117 Files Installed ...
Windbrand Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I got XEOSP installed' date=' and MBP installed but not activated. It works 90% of the time, but sometimes (randomly I think) NPC faces texture will experience clipping, and flickers back and forth between two textures, or display a completely different texture. This is screenshot: [img']http://i.imgur.com/HgT15.jpg[/img] Does anyone know what's causing this? Â Â

Windbrand Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Could be... it only happens when I have NPCs (non CM partners) tagging after me. Never happens if I just have Vilja tagging along. Is there a way to fix it?

Sizustar Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 MBP++ v0.9.7 have a new version http://narulivion.blog46.fc2.com/blog-entry-290.html  http://www.4shared.com/file/WKz8OXno/MBP097Sub_test1.html?
Dee383 Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Conserning XEO Do You Need To Install An Ealier Version Or Does XEO5 Contain All You Need ?
ethylalcohol Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 @Dee383 Some where deep in this thread has answer for you. But since it so deep and somewhere I can't tell so... Depend on what you need, if you only want better look of npc, XEO5 just fine. Or you need additional race, add XEORC. You don't need to install earlier version. Â And if you have MBP, I'm suggest XEOSP instead of XEO5 since it doesn't mess with eyes. Â Â
jankhater Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 OK! I tracked down a copy of XEORC Revised Full (possibly being the illusive XEORC5?) and miracle of miracles, it's packaged with English documentation!  http://bbs.3dmgame.com/viewthread.php?tid=1082360&extra=&page=1 <--Skydrive link includes downloads to earlier XEORC packages.  As far as I knew, the RC series offered a player race only alternative to XEO based on MBP, but according to the readme this one seems designed more for general MBP - XEO compatibility for both race adds and NPC replacement. No idea what releases have supplanted this one.  It comes with xeoec.esm for added race, eye and hair as well as xeoexpeople.esp for NPC replacement. It lists XEO5 as a requirement, but that may just be for the NPC side of things and not necessary if you only want races. Take that speculation with a grain of salt though.  It also kinda requires aquamer resources: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16366 and a bunch of broken links that I'm trying to find alternates for, possible candidates being:  Luchaire's Dryad: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17204  Ligfaerd, which I can't find  and Night Walker from here, which also might include the dryad from before...  You only need the textures from those at any rate, so it won't kill your game if you don't have them.

But Ive Learnt A Valueable Lesson Last Week So All Of The Race Mods Ive Converted To OMODS So It Makes It Easier To Uninstall Them ...
jankhater Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 *flop* Ok, XEORC revised doesn't seem to add much over XEORC4, I think most of the changes are probably over on the NPC replacer side of things, so if someone wants just races, I don't see any point in using it unless you're having eye trouble maybe. Â Edit: Bah! Xeoracex117 doesn't work with revised either, you need the xeorace.esm from XEORC4.
AC2 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Hmm MPB and XEo mess with my Enalya demonic race. So far can't get google eyes fixed even when using bash patch. Would i have to use alternative like CS?
Yojiru Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Since MBP has a new version, how would I go about installing MBP and 117?
