Don't try using the non-CK2Plus version, because it is not compatible. I had already guessed it would have come down to this, I asked simply to be sure of it without going through the nth game crash caused by the same problem.
AlexWyrmin Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 I think I'll try Lesbocracy when it gets updated for Holy Fury. In the meantime, is there any way to transplant the threesome event chain into another mod or turn it into its own mod?

It would fit right in with both the Dark World Reborn and Christianity mods, especially for a member of the Chosen of Lilith.

shelb014 Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 I've been using School of Sappho for a while and recently noticed your upgrade to Lesbocracy, it's fantastic! I just have a question, and that's whether the orgy events are currently working? I only get a dialogue box with EVTDESC_LES_10001 with two options EVTOPTA_LES_10001 and EVTOPTB_LES_10001. It continues like that through every subsequent dialogue box in the event chain, so I don't know what the actual choices I'm making are about. Is there something I can do to fix it on my end? Thanks again, everything else seems to work perfectly.

Maybe try using the Steam version, if you're using the one from Loverslab. It should just be a random glitch.
shelb014 Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Thanks for the quick response. I've made sure SoS is completely deleted, I've tried using both the steam version of the mod and the loverslab (not at the same time), and tried reinstalling it multiple times, with the same reproduceable effect. Could there be another incompatibility that I'm not aware of?

EDIT: also send me the les_strings file from the localisation folder of the version of the mod you're using.

Ancient Religions Reborn and Immortality Revisited are incompatible with Lesbocracy. Also you shouldn't use Republic Equality with Lesbocracy - I've talked to the author of RE and got the permission to merge it with Lesbocracy. I've written about it here. However, I've launched the game with all the mods from your list, and the orgies work fine. Your localisation file was also fine. I guess the final thing to ask is - is your version of CK2 up-to-date? The current version should be 2.8.3.3. If I were to guess what was causing the issue - I would say that an old School of Sappho localisation file is still lying around somewhere in your mod folder, being activated by some other mod and overwriting the one from Lesbocracy. After you check your CK2 version, you should check every folder and every archive for a rogue les_strings.csv file. EDIT: maybe also disable all other mods to see if the issue persists. That way it may be easier to find the problem.

I'll start adding my mods back in and if anything breaks, I'll let you know, but thank you again for your help. I knew it had to be something on my end, everything else you've added works great.

I'm pretty sure only lesbians have first-hand knowledge of what being a lesbian is like. However good a person's understanding of human psychology is, nothing beats first-hand knowledge.
AlexWyrmin Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 Update on the problem I was having with using anything CK2Plus compatible on top of the latest version of the mod itself: the game doesn't crash on save if CK2Plus.mod is the only .mod related to CK2Plus in the folder, meaning compatible mods have to be made part of CK2Plus itself. P.S. I know it doesn't have anything to do with this mod in particular, just thought I would share how to get Lesbocracy for CK2Plus to work if anyone has a crash on save problem for the same reason I did.

You're welcome. I didn't have to look for a thread on the topic, I actually solved the problem so easily it's surprising I didn't think to do that in the first place. The mods I had problems with were already made to work with CK2Plus, so I simply checked each one with WinMerge for outstanding differences and in most cases I just needed to unzip a mod's content directly into the CK2Plus folder.

nuria1 Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 I have been playing your mod on the Tribal mode, and i I'd like add a few items for you to consider. The possibility of arranged Marriage/Betrothal of characters with the homosexual trait, if society is a Matriarchy. Both within the player state and with other states with the appropriate Laws/Culture, so either Matriarchy's or any society with the appropriate level of Tolerance and Legalism. Those matches appearing on the search screen from "Arrange Marriage" (2 little rings on the portrait screen) and from the r.click drop down menu on the portrait screen, alongside the Male options. Being part of the diplomatic offers to the player. On the Tribal Matriarchy women can have concubines but not men. Women with the homo trait can have concubines M or F, in FF / FM or FFF / FFM according to rank. If they are a diplomatic gift, and in case the player accepts, the F concubines with homo trait will be content, the ones without will be unhappy and prone to plot or help in plots against the player or the NPC, until some event makes them acquire the trait. Orgy possibilities alongside lover/s and/or wife Can conceive with the M concubine, offspring will have the Child of Concubine trait if the wife refuses to legitimize or if no wife. Wives share concubines, otherwise the household numbers would spiral out of control, in case of divorce the older gets to keep the concubines. And finally a troll event, a priest/shaman etc appears out of nowhere and removes the homo trait from a random courtier/vassal or even from the player. Great mod overall but i found the part about reaching Tribal Matriarchy status far too easy, i did it with the first ruler and she still lived another 10 years, but somehow never managed to get the homo trait because of consecutive bad rolls on the Midsummer festival. Hope you keep updating it, good luck!

Fairly sure all of those suggestions are impossible, until Holy Fury comes out and women will be able to have concubines without men having them, but that's the only one you can do. Gay marriage has to be done via event because it's just not supported in the game. The search for marriage feature can't be modified.

I do not think there is any way to implement straight marriage mechanics for gay marriage (however I would love to be proven wrong). I sometimes wish to be able to arrange marriages myself, but I also kind of like the fact that only characters that are in love are able to marry each other. It's romantic in a way. 3 hours ago, nuria1 said: On the Tribal Matriarchy women can have concubines but not men. The number of concubines won't be tied to the ruler's rank. I like your idea with homo/non-homo concubines, I will put it in my list with the low-priority features. It certainly makes more sense to have this feature than not. 4 hours ago, nuria1 said: Can conceive with the M concubine, offspring will have the Child of Concubine trait if the wife refuses to legitimize or if no wife. If I'm guessing correctly, I won't be changing anything. 4 hours ago, nuria1 said: Wives share concubines, otherwise the household numbers would spiral out of control, in case of divorce the older gets to keep the concubines. I. LOVE. THIS. I'll see if I can also intermarry concubines to each other. I hope there is no limitation to this. There might be something that would stop a character from being a consort to 2 other characters at once, but we'll wait and see. 4 hours ago, nuria1 said: And finally a troll event, a priest/shaman etc appears out of nowhere and removes the homo trait from a random courtier/vassal or even from the player.
