I'll go over the bit of code that enslaves the hostages.

As for Alternate Start, I do not think it will have any effect on HSH houses. I will also have to check the brothel thing. It may be something as silly as an error in the code that provides the cheat mode.

Hi, I don't know if it's a bug or I'm doing something wrong, but this mod doesn't seem to work properly in my game. I can sell slaves to npcs, but the mod doesn't keep track of them (in the town slaves list menu, it says 0 to all towns). I had the previous version and I disabled it to install the new one, but I keep getting the same problems. When I ask for slave rumours to guards, I get always the same text "what do you take us for?".

It looks like the mod wasn't installed correctly. Check your load order with LOOT. When installing the mod, did you only check the patches for mods that you actually have installed?

 

Also did you install the prerequisites? Particularly SexLab / PapyrusUtils.

 

If you can't fix it, please post a Papyrus log.

I had a question for my own games ongoing story purposes. At any point of slavery level will a player be able to sell a slave to a jarl, or are the jarls hard coded to always say they are living a life of luxury and don't need any? I tested the cheat mode and set slavery to max, but still received the same response, so I suspected it might be a hard line for them because  "if the civil war is over, you might spot some ex jarl walking around in chains. "

I use Vortex, which has loot integrated, and there are no conflicts with this mod. I have all the prerequisits except ZAP8+ (I have zap 7 + zaz extension + tara furniture, and Zap8+ conflicts with these). I'll post the papyrus logs as soon as I get them.

 

This may have something to do, but when installing "Ang you get a slave!", the "Home Sweet Home" is not ticked by default (maybe is not detected, or that's the right behavior). I tick it manually, of course:

That's ok, it doesn't detect the other mods all the time. That's not due to the mod but something in my FOMOD file I think. Been too lazy to fix it :)

There's a lot going on there in that log, many functions from HSH, Aygas and PAHE are failing due to null references. Possibly a failed install. Or an incorrect version of PapyrusUtils (though I don;t think PAHE uses that at all). I'll go over the log in more detail later.

@Musje I can now say that the issue was not a fluke. I was doing the main quest and had just returned the horn of Jurgen Windcaller to the Greybeards. I fast traveled to Riverwood and as soon as I entered the Sleeping Giant Inn I was notified that I had received a 1000 septim bounty for Whiterun. I paid the bounty and fast traveled back to finish my business with Delphine. I then left Riverwood by foot and met three bounty hunters who I promptly killed. All three had identical contracts from Thadgeir regarding the untimely death of Siddgeir. 

 

So, I can expect that every 5-10 in-game days I'm going to go through this again and I need to start carrying significant sums of money with me. I have not seen hide nor hair of Aslfur or Siddgeir. I don't know how your algorithm works for placing them but I have enabled slavery in every hold now except Haafingar (although I'm working on that now). So, if they show up as slaves randomly it might be some time before I see them wandering in a town.

 

The two things that were different this time were 1) the bounty was for Whiterun (where I was) from the start and 2) the bounty hunters were all together and acted appropriately this time. Unless I discover something different I won't report on this any more so as not to waste your time.

So everything works except for the dialogue. Every time I go to an auction and I try to talk to them I get a message that says that they are busy and this goes with every other NPC around it. Help

Once the auction begins that is what is supposed to happen. There is no talking. To bid hit enter when the message about the bidding occurs in the upper left hand portion of your screen.

Thanks. I didn't know that because I have to quick save and then reload for the message to appear. Don't know what thats all about but what ever. Thanks again :)

@Musje Sorry that I didn't think to check this before. I went to Solitude to look at the deposed nobility and they are all there except Aslfur and Siddgeir. I still haven't seen either one in game.

 

I also suggest that if you intend to keep this post Civil War feature you might want to remind your mod users that having some of these people "die" is going to wreak havoc on some other quests. For instance you need Baalgruuf for The Ebony Blade and Faleen for The Book of Love.

Well I just started a new game to try out this mod and I don't know what else it could be?

iirc zap8 includes all of the above and that would indeed be why it conflicts with them if they're already included, but i'll take a look at the log as well for any oddities

i would suggest for test purposes, see what happens if you attempt to sneakily kill 1 of the survivors during their sleep and if there's no bounty for it as there shouldn't be...then i'd suggest that if musje plans to keep this "feature" that it should have a default on toggle to "only enslave them thru sneak attacks of that example type"

i'm going to have to agree with that or an skse issue as its a bit confusing why this plague seems to be showing up lately as tho the pahe scripts aren't even running but the log does atleast show version 7.2.8 running. best i can suggest is to reinstall skse anyway just incase then install pahe as well

It was an excellent suggestion. What I discovered is that the exiles are still essential (at least while they're in the Blue Palace). So, I got a bounty for attacking Proventus Avenicci and putting him into bleedout but he didn't die.

iirc, essential doesn't prevent enslavement. sleep attacks can be done with stealth and don't require an attack be made prior to enslavement. if its too much of a pita to wait for them to sleep, will require more stealth involved, but could still be done with the mark key and the sidfu maneuver

You're right of course. It was late (that's my only excuse). So I went back and enslaved Proventus Avenicci. I actually didn't "finish" since everyone in the room (the other exiles including the children) attacked me. However, I got NO bounty for enslaving him while sneaking and the exiles gave up attacking me as soon as I "sheathed" my hands.

There was no bounty. So far at least there have been no bounty hunters (since they would have been sent by Aslfur I expect that there will not be any but I'm prepared for anything). She is owned by Adrianne Avenicci (I wonder if she'll buy her dad too when his time comes?). I still have not seen Aslfur or Siddgeir.

just now seeing the first owned slave of the exiles actually makes it seem as tho aygas was waiting for pahe to continue....like perhaps the aygas enslavement code was unable to hand off to an owner until pahe took another slave

If you take request- slavegirls by hydragorgon adds many slaves roaming around Skyrim dragged by their masters. It would be nice to buy them using pahe slavery system.

Nice, but didn't these slaves cause huge problems in PAHE? Or was that Immersive Wenches? CliftonJD would know...

 

In any case, this would make for a nice integration, I agree. I'll run with this mod and see if transfering these slaves breaks anything.

What happens in Aygas is that these exiles are moved to the "slave pool" at random, every now and then. That's just a hidden cell to store slaves; slaves sold at auction in the Hunter also end up here. Whenever Aygas needs a new slave, for an auction or for a random new owner, it looks in the pool first. It's just a way to keep unique NPCs in the game.  But it also means that an exile who gets dumped into the pool may stay there a while before being assigned to a new owner, it doesn't happen right away.

 

By the way, Aygas runs the exiles through the PAHE enslavement process to make sure we end up with NPCs who are properly prepped for slavery. How does the PAHE clonifier kill the NPCs? Does it do that in a way the player gets blamed? That would make sense, and might explain the bounties. I wonder if moving the slave to the holding cell before killing them would help.

Just a VERY quick note. I picked up another bounty last night (for Riften while I was in Riften). I've not been accosted by bounty hunters so I don't know for whom the bounty was placed, yet. If I get a chance in my game I'll go see if someone else is missing from the Blue Palace. I've still seen no one but Idgrod Ravencrone.
