some custom followers are not couted for ayas. for example indigo isnt counted and will buy slaves

As I recall, those followers are not in the potential follower faction.

You can hit them with:

addfac 0005C84D 1 (this is the Potential Follower Faction)

and I - think - that will fix it. Results not guaranteed.

for custom followers do NOT mess with their factions. this is mostly causae you  can cause issues with their code. often ther a reason custom followrs are not part of that faction. if you arbitary add them to it  anothe rmod might auto grab them or other weird thing and break them.

i forgot which one it was but i accdently added them to follower faction and it caused the mod to just break.

From my experience, adding them to the potential follower faction will not affect their behavior.

Subsequently using the follower dialogs to recruit them as a normal follower - will break things big time.

in this case the mod needs a faction that tcan be added to them with out potetntualy  breaking them. just cause it worked fine for you dont mean ti works fine on others differnt mod lists and mods.

That's the correct way to do it. I will see to add such faction. I believe HSH has one already but not AYGAS. I could even add a dialogue into "Have you ever thought of having a servant" to set/unset it.

i'v Downloaded the correct version of this mod but whatever i start up skyrim it crashes before i even get to main menu am i missing something, am i not reading the req mods? 

I know this sounds silly or just stupid of me but i gotta ask.

Did you install PAHE before? Did you run Pandora after? Are you using LE or SE? Which version of AYGAS are you using?
