Once a slave is sold to an NPC, Is there the possibility to buy the slave back ?

The occasional slave auction. Is that planned for buying slaves or for selling slaves ?

 

I already asked CliftonJD for a similar option , but he/she is offline til now.

In the current version, you can buy back slaves from NPCs after a week or 2 (game time). But if that person happens to like the slave, be prepared to pay a lot more than you got in the sale.

 

The auction will be for both buying and selling, similar to the one in the Restless Hunter (Home Sweet Home mod).  Before the auction starts, you will be able to hand your slaves over to auction master for sale. Other citizens of the town may do the same. Once the auction starts, you can bid for slaves except your own ones, and collect from the auctioneer afterwards.

Wow, this is great.

I had the idea that when one of my player followers enters bleedout during a fight, it should be possible (after a short time) that the nearest bandit (mage) captures my follower and magically sell to somekind of slaver. Than there must be the posibility to buy my follower back.

 

What is realized so far is only  triggering an empty bleedout event with a notification, but nothing more.

 

I have a look into "aygascorescript" and assume i can make a direct call to "SellSlave", defining the price in my own mod.

Afterwards subtract the received gold from the player.

Is it necessary first to "enslave" the follower using some PAHE functions ?

It is not strictly necessary to first enslave the slave with PAHE. That enslavement process does a whole bunch of stuff to an NPC to ensure it behaves properly as a slave.

 

If you want to use this strictly as something to enslave followers and buy them back later, then you could call SellSlave. But you also have to deregister him as a follower.  And if you then buy back that slave and keep it as a slave or stick it in a home managed by HSH, there's no guarantee that the slave will behave properly at all times.

Hmm... allow slave auctions only in Stormcloack controlled cities? Empire banned slavery.
 

 

- New reasons to buys slave: Guinea pigs for necromancers, freeing a kidnapped family member, priests freeing slaves.

- Adding slaves / captives to bandit camps. After killing the bandits you can free or keep them.

 

 

For this feature would be good to bring SL Kidnapped Redux integration. In that mod citizens (and even mod added NPCs) can get kidnapped. I am sure vinfamy will lend a help.

Uhm, you're sure about that? My mod manager says so, and the game crashes...

 

Did you install the version posted here in the download section? I just checked with Tes5Edit to make sure, and Hearthfires isn't listed as a master. You do need SexLab, ZAP, and Paradise Halls.

Frodur in Riverwood said that he'll go easy on me.

been using it without any problems. so far only 2 things need to be fixed/tweaked.

 

1. the convorsation to sell a slave is there for everyone even dogs. hell even  wild deer.

2. the ones u sell to taverns have sex way to much. till u have a better systtem put them on a 2 hour or greater timer

I can fix 2 but actually I have no idea what conditions to set to have the conversation only appear on the regular races...

  • PapyrusUtils (I think this is installed by SexLab already, at least my mod manager thinks so)

 

What does PapyrusUtils do exactly ? What's the problem if we don't install it ?

 

I ask because i try to reduce the number of mods in my game (too many CTD)

That adds functions to attach data to actors and objects, and store that data in your game save. This is how the mod can manage an unlimited nr of slaves and owners.

Did you plan anything for male slaves? Like working in Inns too or something?

 

I could see male slaves being forced to work in mines and on farms and the like. Mostly physical labor though you'd get a few forced into brothels and such.

They will work in inns like females. I don't yet make much distinction between males and females.
