btasqan Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 Hello together. I didnt know where to post this issue: My dragons change their skin/textures after they spawn. It usually takes 2-10 seconds. Example Odahviing He appears in his correct skin, here white (here ist is from a another mod, but even with vanilla issue is the same, only that he appears in his normal red skin) about 5-10 seconds later, darker skin Dont be confused about the texturetype. It is from Enhanced Mighty Dragons. WIthout them odahvin will spawn with his red skin then he will get a green skin.. I have uninstalled several mods including dragon mods. Cant find the error. Even in a new game the issue persists. Maybe someone has experienced a similar issue and can hel narrow down the problem. This happens to all dragons. They come with correct skin and then switch. Thx

Thanks. This fixed that. I didnt expect it to be a MNC issue because I tested with MNC uninstalled too. But now my dragons are consistnet again.

If I change load order, the texture glitch from my previous post comes back.

What is funny is that I just noticed this problem a few versions ago. Before I never had it. Seems that some changes from MNC 10 to MNC 11 affected the way MNC interacts with EMD. BEfore I never had conflicts.

MadMansGun Posted March 20, 2018 Author Posted March 20, 2018 1 hour ago, btasqan said: How come in MNC 10 there was no problem? because in v9-10 it was setup as one dick for all dragons, but in v11 dragons are registered individually like they are in HCOS, and that required some extra edits to the dragon NPCs and the way skins are applied to them (but i missed the NPC part in MNC and that's why all the dragons where the common ones in your game), the problem is EMD edits the same NPCs and is removing the worn armor entrys that i added, or depending on load order MNC is removing the template data from EMD. it can be fixed but it will take some time, i count 42 esp files that need to patched.

Yes. So I changed armor edits to patch MNC11, but it seems more is needed because my patch brings back the combat features from EMD but then it still glitches the textures. I see many 0000 when editing. Seems it is important to port those to into the EMD patch?

Seems it is important to port those to into the EMD patch? load EMD after MNC and edit the Dragon NPC's worn armor line in EMD, you don't need to touch the races. edit: if the Dragon NPC is using a template you may need to fix it as well.

Should I? i assume yes, MNC only has a script from SLAL, not all of SLAL. note: the edited script in MNC just has a non important edit that was done in an attempt to add cum onto creatures.

Not a big deal to fix it by myself but anyway not familiar users with NIF scope could have some problems.

Probably would have some clipping with the Skirt for the Hard mesh though, but I added the Unarmored version of the Vampire Lord Retexture(the same one this mod uses) to prevent that.
