I've managed to reproduce the "HORSE CRASH" whitin minimal testing environment.

TLDR: The "cause" is Crash Fixes v12 with MNC v11.4F, so disable the first or roll back the second (11.4D is the last unaffected version).


Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install Skyrim LE from the Steam
  2. Install SKSE 1.7.3 (use this SKSE.ini)
  3. Place d3dx9_42.dll from SKSE plugin preloader to game root dir (preloads Crash Fixes)
  4. Install Crash Fixes v12 (use this CrashFixPlugin.ini)
  5. Install Sexlab
  6. Install Alternate Start - Live Another Life
  7. Install MoreNastyCritters v11.4F
  8. Start a new game
  9. Speak with the Statue of Mara, select "I own property in one of the holds", then "Breezhome [Whiterun]"
  10. Click on the bed to sleep, leave the Breezhome, leave the Whiterun through the main gates
  11. Go alongside the wall, turn to the left when possible
  12. Look at the horses (in the stables or near the carriage)
  13. CTD confirmed

 

Though the crash fires only with Crash Fixes v12, my build is unstable without it's memory management, so I've had to switch to previously used 11.4C instead.

 

P.S. Please, EXTERMINATE this bug. I've spent over 6 hours to figure out what causes CTD in 200+ mods build (which was fairly stable previously and was just slightly edited and updated for the new playthrough) and over 2 hours more to reduce the build to required minimum for reproduction.

why this version doesn't have skeever? the old version has it.

Mudcrab probably can't and won't have any animations done for it, unless some trickery with animobjects happens. The same was initially true for ice wraiths, but animobjects solved that. The other animations you can find in other SLAL packs. Billyy's has all the the mentioned except female vampire lord and mudcrab. Funnybizness does have some female vampire lord animations.

the icewraiths are not animobjects, PaulGreen was able to fix them for us.

so far Billyy has made 2 animations for them and i have made 1.

Did you use linked CrashFixPlugin.ini? When "UseOSAllocators=1" is set I'm getting CTD with v10, v11, v12. By the way, as for me, custom memory management is the main feature of this plugin. Also there is a chance that you won't get CTD even with this option enabled since you're running WinXP and the plugin may behave differently (I'm on Win10 Pro 1809 x64),

 

And I can also confirm that using '\meshes\actors\horse\character assets\skeleton.hkx' from Animated Beast's Cocks(ABC) For users - HDT Patch 0.6V prevents the crashes.

Hello hello, I also have the crashes whenever i get in a short range of horses, if i reinstall MoreNastyCritters_v11_4D do i need to also revert the other files or can i keep those? 

 

EDIT- Is that the file i should revert also? Not sure. I was using all the files that were version 11.4c , started a new game to update only when the 11.4f was available so haven't used the ones after c except 11.4f . Im confusing myself sorry if im messing you up as well. I guess what im asking is should I go back to 11.4c on all the files or just the MoreNastyCritters main one? or 11.4d i guess, not c.

you don't need 11.4D, you just need to delete the skeleton.hkx (Data\meshes\actors\horse\character assets\skeleton.hkx)

 

edit: also are you using "Crash Fixes v12" as well? and if so dose it still crash if you use v10 instead?

Guys idk if that belongs here or into the creature framework thread, but since all of my critters use the MNC genitals, I think it should be okay here.

Because: For some reason, werewolves that are made by Moonlight Tales Werewolf Blood potions don't have genitals. I used to know a solution to this (or I just pressed the right buttons by accident...), but the Moonlight Tales Werewolves refuse to get their MNC meshes/dicks now. Any hints/tips?

install SOS and turn off werewolves in CF.

cool cool, i am using crash fixes v12 , also convenient horses if thats a part of it. When i delete that file should i start a new game to be on the safe side?

Arg ty so much, I crashed about 10-20 times trying to get into whiterun without fail when the stable area loaded, deleted that file and walked right in.

I'm not sure, ive just in the past month or so gotten back into modding skyrim after a couple years hiatus so this v12 is the only version of crash fixes ive downloaded. I use vortex as well so i wouldn't be able to make a seperate profile like with MO to see. Im also very finicky about changing anything once ive started the game after more time modding it then playing lol. Like even though youve said I wouldnt need to restart after that im probably still going to since i altered something lol. Only a few of my playthroughs have gone into the higher levels since ive started modding.

Hello everyone,

 

I am curently doing a Female Vampire Lord character and i noticed that when i use sexlab while being a VL my shape is changing for a curvier one.

But sadly once sexlab is done the body is back to the normal vanilla VL shape. My question would be, is it possibe to keep this curvy shape each time i am a VL even when i am not using sexlab ?

something must be overriding DLC1NakedVampireLord [ARMA:020023F4], you will probably have to load all of your mods (that are below MNC in the load order) into TES5Edit to find the mod responsible.

Well I've kind of hit a wall. I get a CTD right after selecting either New Game or Continue after installing Version 11.4F. I'll post the Load Order below but without it installed everything seems to be working and in a stable state. Any ideas on what might be the issue would be appreciated, and if any other information would help I can try and get it. I sort with LOOT after every install and also tried the recommended load order manually. Vortex is what I use for my install. Apologies if this load order is disgusting or redundant in areas, been modding a while but I'm DEFINITELY not knowledgeable on how things work internally. Thanks!

there are 2 possibilitys:

1. the ongoing "Crash Fixes v12 vs horse skeleton.hkx" situation (scroll up to top of page).

2. you have too many animations installed.

I'll try the horse skeleton thing (didn't try it initially since I figured it was exclusively near horses) and uninstalling some anims. Thanks for the quick reply!

 

 

Update: I think it was the animations. Took care of the horse skeleton anyway but also got rid of some packs that were superfluous. Seems to be working fine now! Thanks again

This has problaby nothing to do with this mod but who knows. Anyways maybe this is the wrong place to ask but.

What would cause dwarven sphere to stop animations/attacking?

They are hostile since combat music starts but they arent not moving.

They are all transformed into their standing form but still not moving at all. I can go up to them and hit them until they die without them fighting back.

Its the only creature thats acting like that. Every other creature works like they are suppose to.

a missing "SLSF1_Skinned" flag in the mesh's BSLightingShaderProperty can do that easily, but so can a bad behavior file (Data\meshes\actors\dwarvenspherecenturion\behaviors\scbehavior.hkx)
