I took it out even though I barely can live without it and faithfully waiting for the update 🐶

Same here.
Literally was fine this morning. I logged out, and logged back now, and had another small update.. boom, CAS freezing issue.

 

Also, I think MCCC isnt working neither, since theres no option when I click on a sim at all.

 

Note:
I just tried everything, and nothing works aside of completely removing WW.

Weird - I've had no problems creating new sims or loading saved games in CAS - but on that one all WW preferences are gone.  It's literally just the base game with or without WW.  Saved games load with the preferences, though.  *shrug*   

 

And things work (on the surface) as they should if MCCC isn't installed.  If it is, I get errors about the relationship tracks that @Ismelda  mentioned.  Given how this update changed relationships, it's no surprise that there's a big curveball to a mod that dealt with relationships in its own way.  It's a huge PITA to fix, I'm sure.

My game keeps saying there is something wrong with the tuning package since it auto updated today I have deleted it and reinstalled it done everything I can and even updated all my mods and it only wicked whims doing it please help

MCCC just released an update last night, so it should be working again.

Wicked Whims is not updated yet for the latest patch. You need to remove it for now if you are going to play your game. You  risk breaking your game since the mod is not updated yet.

I'm just surprised there hasn't been a tweet or something acknowledging that WW is being worked on. Very unlike TurboDriver considering the last update was July 15.

Ah, excellent then. At least I can do cheat other stuff around, thanks for the tip!

(Im really new, just started playing a week or so ago -and doing a crash course of the game- so still plenty to try/learn/experiment)

Supposedly, Turbo is on vacation right now, but even if he wasn't I don't know that the mod would get fixed any quicker with the way EA's patches are breaking the game. I think all modders need to put their updates on hold until EA is done patching the patches.

I have a wierd problem with this mod. I updated to the latest version of it and the conflict finder says it's broken. I reinstalled it a few times with no effect what so ever... I have no idea how to fix it.

So it seams that it's a mass problem... Waiting for updates *shrug*

Wicked Whims is broken and needs to be updated before you play with it! 

 

If you continue to play with it after updating your game, then you risk breaking your game. Take Wicked Whims out of your mod folder and you can check here for any mods you have, as the creators themselves have to give the mod status. 

 

TurboDriver is on vacation, so you will just have to be patient and wait until he returns for an update.

Just here to say much respect to Turbodriver.  If it were me, I would not be posting any sort of reassurances on my vacation.  And if someone doxxed me, I'd be feeling very spiteful and petty right now.  Thank you for all that you do for us.  I will wait patiently for your update and play other games until you've updated.  Or, you know, go outside and touch some grass.  😂

yes cas is broken after the update. But good news is that there are workarounds. (download the latest version of mcc if you don't have it)

You can still design clothes for regular sims by using the wardrobe platform from get famous or you can use mc comand center>sim commands>.modify sim, but note that modify household (or cheat cas. fulleditmode) does not work, if you want to edit traits you can do it with mcc >MCCAS>>manage traits (or you can pretty much edit almoust everything about your sim with mcc)

As for designing new clothes for ww strip club workers you con do it with a phone (but only limited amount of clothes, without make up or earrings etc).

I found the other work around for the CAS issue is if I need to work in CAS, I save and exit the game, remove WW, re-enter the game, do my needed changes in CAS, save/exit, and place WW back. A bit of work but at least I know it is WW that is causing the CAS issues but I also want WW for all the features 😭

Please do not play with a broken mod. If you updated your game, Wicked Whims is broken for you. Take it out of your game before you do irreparable damage to your game.

Youre just accumulating problems.

WW will not work for now, and each time you save (doing a workaround like that), youre likely saving troubles!

 

As it is, theres a chance that "old" saves might not work even with an updated WW...

For example, I removed EVERYTHING that is meant for WW (like Big Dick Problems), and the game still bugs and glitches (with my usual save). Thats because the save is meant for an "old" WW and game versions.

 

On a side note, after the update, some of my items got broken. A couple CC hairs and clothes that were working fine (and had no connection whatsoever with WW) now give a weird gloss texture pattern (and redownloading-reoplacing doesnt works). Some other items got absolutely fubar, with that "?" and red/white texture pattern.

I doubt it, it's Friday already. If I was TD, I would be in no rush to update it either, especially after the way a few desperate basement dwellers have acted because they can't go more than a day without making their Sims shag.

Try downloading Sims 4 Studio and run the batch fixes for CAS. If you are playing on DX11 I would also try the DX11 batch fix. You may have removed a mod or mesh that required certain CC also.
