I'll check when I get home and make sure nothing crept in, but the function call is built into the button. There isn't a check anywhere.

What I believe he's saying is after you do the bit with scaledick he tells you to go talk to cullen but you are unable to start up conversations with anyone .
DocClox Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 Yeah. That's the bit that's still WIP There's a chunk more conversation to write, but I didn't get to it last week. Hopefully the animations will start to stablise a little and I can get the rest of it in place. That said ... I'm in the process of moving all the separate threads of the quest to their own subquest. That should greatly reduce the reliance on script variables and the number of conditions that need to be tested for any given exchange. I'm hoping this will get rid of the delay in starting conversations and launching animations. It should certainly simplify the logic involved.

DocClox Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 If you go and talk to cullen, you'll say "Mmmm-mmm-mmmmph!" and he'll say "It looks like you've been talking to Master Scaledick..." and events will proceed from there. And if your PC is a good little girl she'll get her gag removed. Probably. Only that bit is one of the WIP parts.

Except where I need to demo something anyway. For SSG ... at least a year. That's to write the main questline from Whiterun to Solitude. The questline through to Secunda's Watch, including a full slavery sandbox ... probably be done sometime around October, maybe Christmas time.

Only issue I think is fake orgasm doesn't add to it yet but i assume thats another bug. The real one however now stops the animation and triggers the dialogue. (Although I recommend forcing the chat menu that scaledick speaks as when he speaks dynamically he gets cut off for standing too close during one of those 'Huh' or 'Oww' thingies) Also the Black mark system seems to be working well too, one one test I got 18 marks and scaledick spoke about how stubborn etc I was, tried it again with the minimum ammount I could aquire and got different dialogue Im impressed you went into that much depth, kudos I know a little about that system from the wiki, but could you give a brief rundown on what number of marks will be considered dangerously high etc? Oh and by the way the cocksucking dialogue still needs some removing from the kiss the shaft dialogue option, if your bothered that is, fairly unimportant anyway
isee Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Good news! it seems that the reload on start-up with 0.9.2 fixed everything now things appear to be working about as well as can be expected from a WIP, POC, can be expected (although now that I say this I realize it probably was working about as well as one can expect from it before.) It was a smart idea to add in the little messages from time to time Guess that will make debugging easier later on. So far so good everything works as intended so far as the WIP has come.

[/quote'] We been talking about this on beth forums, a bit. We can probably create an invisible moth or similar and set it to take player controls while the PC's body remains AI driven. Then, with collisions disabled, you'd be able to fly freely with the player seeing from that POV. It's a pain, but it should work. might want to consider adding the ability to see your own body in firstperson cam mode in there somewhere as well (at least a placeholder for it maybe) Well, you can at the moment, I believe. The trouble is that if you go to 1st person you can turn around by rotating the camera, and then when you go back to 3P you're facing away from your partner. I might be able to catch the POV change and disabe/enable looking around.

[/quote'] I dont believe there is im afraid, in the vanilla game usually escaping an important conversation triggers a alternate verbal response (or in some cases violence) from certain NPC's, examples of this can be seen with Astrid in the DB questline in the shack or with theives in the wilderness. There maybe a 'On forced exit' response or something you can use similar in the NPC quest behavior, but thats just me speculating. although your NPC does speak the dialogue dynamically, perhaps a simpler solution of moving the NPC back a few centemetres after the 'act' would solve this problem and save you a headache, or create a bigger one...I dunno

Both parties are restrained, so I wouldn't expect them to move at all. Just installed and ran version .9.2 on my level 30+ character. Every issue I had was fixed by that version. grumbler Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Doc, I gave the new version of this a whirl, but never go anything from Scaledick except him complaining that he wanted to fuck something. Looking in the CK, it seems that the variable player_enslavable needs to be set to 1 to get any other response, but I can't set that variable through the console (the console commands don't recognize player_enslavable and it doesn't show under sqv). I tried with an existing character and a new one. How does one get the variable to switch to 1?
