athena1978 Posted September 2, 2024 Posted September 2, 2024 (edited) Q: how to change the face /appearance of enemy bosses originally in power armor, e.g. "Tessa". I've taken down Tessa and mark and enslave /put the collar on. However I cannot change her appearance. This is quite a shock since other NPC bosses face can be changed (e.g. Whiplash). But not with Tessa. One noticeable feature during SLM phase (change appearance), Tessa will automatically get into the "stretched out body" just like inside P.A. I've tried : 1. Violate enemy surrender. 2. using cf "actor.switchtopowerarmor" 3. VATS hit fusion core and she exited PA, mark and takedown. NONE WORK. I can put her collar on but cannot change her appearance. IS HER "vanilla" FACE stuck somewhere within the BA2? or Just Business should be able to change her appearance by cloning as ussual? Edited September 2, 2024 by athena1978 1
valcon767 Posted September 2, 2024 Posted September 2, 2024 @athena1978 using SLM on Just Business "clone" of her should work. was she walking around when you tried to change her?? i have had weirdness happen when using SLM on a NPC who was walking around before. what seems to work best (for me) is to make a preset, then have NPC sit down somewhere, then do use SLM on them to apply the preset. i will take a look after work and see if i can get it to work on her (Tessa) as i do not have time to do so before work.

I 'm very happy for your help. Tessa's FORMID is 001A679A. direct console : CallFunction "Actor.SwitchToPowerArmor" None or tai / VATS from behind.
valcon767 Posted September 3, 2024 Posted September 3, 2024 sigh...well i did try to check and ran into a problem that i need to solve first making her exit her PA causes CTD. the main listed mod (Classic Holstered Weapons) is not in my load order so i am going to have to do this the hard way to find which mod i need to lose. will take a couple of days .. will post again when i find that culprit and get to try her again.
athena1978 Posted September 3, 2024 Posted September 3, 2024 (edited) update... on NEXT GEN 984 still unable to use Just Business to change female NPC bosses appearance. Tessa, Sparta, Red Tourette. Only whiplash ... No idea why, I thought just business clones them. Maybe can't because female NPC bosses are hard scripted. Edited September 4, 2024 by athena1978
valcon767 Posted September 9, 2024 Posted September 9, 2024 hmm ok i have no clue strange results i cannot change Tessa ever i can change Sparta and Red Tourette but only if i have no other mods that touch them. no clue at this time about other female bosses as i use the Prettier NPC Bosses mod (https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/24533-prettier-npc-bosses/) they all look good enough for me to not need to change them anymore. due to RL interruptus it took me almost a week to track my CTD down on the bright side i did finally track down the mod causing CTD upon NPC exiting Power Armor Rusty Face Fix 2-0-0 = no CTD Rusty Face Fix 2-0-1 = CTD Rusty Face Fix 2-0-2 = no CTD Rusty Face Fix Redux = no CTD
Elrol Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 Any chance that there can be a fix so this works with Fallout London? It contains it's own version of XDI so I can't add it or this mod when using it.

I captured Tessa recently and it completely bricked Looks menu functions, resulting in all presets appearing as Tessa as well as other oddities. This is kind of weird as I have captured other uniques like Darla ages ago in the save with no problems. Upon capturing Tessa, I used the dialogue option to get her out of PA. Worked fine. Could not apply preset to her though. In fact I think it was at this point where presets would no longer preview on any character. Not long after I was loading a preset onto Curies base form and this is when I noticed major preset malfunctions. No preview, presets using incorrect hairs. Facial data not carrying over either by clone method or using Faceripper. Recycling her was the only option, which stuck. She was a perfect match for the preset I made. But from that point the game would crash, often refusing to load 5 times in succession throwing the infamous (nvwgf2umx.dll) error. This would only happen with Curie around. Ultimately lost LM functionality. I suspect Tessa was involved. Started a new game recently .163- never updated, LM functioning perfectly, no problems like the physics hair causing stretching/invisibility. Presets loading perfectly. Whatever happened it baked into my save. I'm going steer clear of Tessa in this save. Also a bit dubious of potential residual effects of using the clone method on companions.
ruggsy9 Posted September 26, 2024 Posted September 26, 2024 (edited) Great mod!! Feels like New Vegas and Fallout 3 were added to FO4 It would be cool to have a mod 'that creates a sandbox area' to place in settlements 'via the workbench' that you can assign ANY individual AND all races Don't be racist include everyone!! 'which will cover all 'modded race companions' , super mutants, ghouls. and even Deathclaws to be 'assaulted' repeatedly using torture devices or a dirty floor mattress!! Something similar to the continuous assaults 'Julie' receives within the Concord slave market . But for Settlers with that nasty disputation 'Marcy', even that companion that keeps walking in front of you!! No rest, No quarter and no break! EVERYONE assaulting them day and night, Even self-righteous Preston and Codsworth wants their turn!! Until you decide to assign a different individual.. for punishment.... But my question is...... WHERE are the locations of all the other slave markets? (Only within the Commonwealth) NOT ANY DLC'S. Dlcs you just sell to a boss. I have only found one, in Concord.. any help? Also unable to sell slaves. Yes I understand how and have read and watched the walkthroughs. While in the slave market in Concord pressing 'R' with NPCS does nothing but 'never mind'. Even after telling your slave to behave cause you're selling them. Had to download the 'Goodneighbor motel mod' to sell them without going to Nuka World. Using a terminal to sell them does nothing. Able to restock slaves and that's it. Thanks!! Edited September 26, 2024 by ruggsy9 more info
travelmedic Posted September 26, 2024 Posted September 26, 2024 I'm not familiar with the Concord slave market you're talking about, I assume it's a mod. If all you want to do is sell some extra slaves, no fancy slave markets included, then I just so happen to know a mod right here that will fill that need.

There's a terminal in the second room where you sell slaves and increase the number of slaves in the market (when eligible, sell more slaves to the market to level up).

I've been testing it for a very long time. And I found that not ALL NPC, or named NPCs are equal. i.e. Whiplash is using raider basic face generator. there is no spesific face on her. Whiplash appearance CAN be changed. Tessa has a spesific face, and the only thing I can change her appearance is using face ripper and making an empty ESP. That's very long process. There is also NPC bosses which also have unspecified gender, can be male or female. ( I forgot the name since I've been testing almost a hundred NPC by now) so, no Just Business is not a mod to change appearance for all enslaved NPCs. just those with "basic face gen". NB: I did curie. It worked well using face ripper since someone told me to change her appearance using BaseID (clone curie first). 2

Yeah I'm playing it very cautiously in this new save knowing what I know now. It also seems like part of the problem with Tessa might be that there isn't a clean evacuation from her PA resulting in some weird morphing conflict. Evident in grotesque stretching with LM manipulations. At least I haven't had any other instances of characters looking like this: I've also had troubles with elderly settlers, namely the unique ones such as the female from Greentop. Have instead resorted to using ESP overrides, which as you said, is a slow and painful process but also a supremely clean and effective way of doing it. I've replicated this process for Curie as I don't quite trust the cloning process anymore. It seems to have troubles with Extended facial sculpting or at least I assume so. Weird in itself as I didn't have any problems with other elderly characters like Doc Anderson. Can apply any preset on her and it takes no problems. She retains only very slight wrinkling on chin and neck: Faceripper also fails to carry over extended facial sculpting features. They are simply lost to the void when exported to ESP. I've only had success using very basic presets. Still it sure is a lot quicker than manually crafting one from scratch in ESP-form. Edited October 7, 2024 by Reefymapupset
Reefymapupset Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 (edited) Btw guys, something I never picked up on until just now is that you can capture people after marking without actually defeating them first. Found that out by accident in a scenario where I was considering enslaving a group of armed settlers. Marked them, then just walked up and told them to equip a collar. Thousands of hours with this mod and I just noticed this lol. On a separate note, has anyone had any luck finding any good voice packs for slaves? Seems there only exists extremely basic ones. Was really hoping to find some AI generated packs that add passive banter and dialogues similar to normal settler behaviour. After many years of using slaves I find myself missing the roleplaying ambience of residents that aren't emotionally sterile. Currently in a fork in the road, 3 very lovely looking settlers who I am tempted to take on as residents, not actual slaves, as a means to breathe some life into settlements. Having slaves is cool and all, but not so much when they are pretty much dead inside and give off that artificial vibe when interacting with them. I used a bunch of console commands to recruit the scripted settler that is being treated by Doc Anderson during her encounter. Very fitting actually as she was constantly praising Anderson for her medical prowess. Even funnier is that when I recruited Anderson, she actually followed Anderson all the way to my settlement like a lost puppy. She's actually very pretty too. Didn't even change her appearance. Ironically she has one of those placid puppy faces. It just felt so right lol. Edited October 7, 2024 by Reefymapupset

Reefymapupset Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 @valcon767 Which mods do you speak of? I'm currently trying to figure out which unique spawns are safe to enslave. Might be safe to assume that we should avoid anyone in PA. I know Darla is safe. All legendary variants are also safe. Thinking of enslaving Commander Bridget, the gunner boss lady. Hope she doesn't bug-out like Tessa.

Reefymapupset Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 @valcon767 Interesting discoveries. I'll have to look into that mod you mentioned. Thanks. Its weird that you mentioned Bridget in PA, as in my game she isn't wearing PA, just the usual combat armour, all heavy pieces. I've been thinking of enslaving Duke, the Atom Cats dude. Though if I do he will lose his personality. It's a shame none of their dialogues can be preserved when capturing. Also noticed something odd. In my last game I had a legendary raider chick, she would do emotes like jump out of her chair and fire her weapon, then remarking that she was just jumpy. In my current save I captured another one but she never has any passive dialogue. I miss that as it's the only shred of personality slaves have left lol.
xiaomei9990096 Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 How do I add a new race? The collar snap is invalid, showing racial incompatibility

It seems a combat encounter was needed to wake her up. She now does those emotes that I remember from my last game. I really love the female raider VA.
Reefymapupset Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 (edited) Been using this mod for ages yet never experimented with Prostitution until just recently. I was curious if anyone knows how this is supposed to work on a good day. Just asked my raider slave to start work as a prostitute a little while ago. I spawned some Junkies around her for testing purposes. She will momentarily start jogging to one of them between her usual routine, stopping next to them but nothing actually happens. Her sex level and prostitution level are both 0. Do they need a certain level of experience to effectively engage with clients? Similarly, do they need a vanilla bed in proximity also or will they use the ground in absence of furniture? I looked in both the guides sections and scoured a few threads, but couldn't find anything covering Prostitution mechanics. Edit: Seems I wasn't waiting long enough. The raider did just now get it on with one of the junkies and made 5 caps lol. I'm guessing that the script being used here dictates a relatively low chance of solicitation at these experience levels. Edited October 16, 2024 by Reefymapupset
Reefymapupset Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Follow-up question; Is it possible to make prostitutes obey normal sleep cycles like other assigned residents? Just noticed that my prostitutes won't go to bed. Really not a fan of that behaviour. They need their rest lol.
Emperor Taaraz Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 For some reason, my newly captured slaves are loosing their names. Now they are all just called "slave". Anyone else having the same problem or knowing how to resolve this?
