Can't seem to sell my slaves, I followed all the  steps but for some reason when I talk to a snatcher only the prostitution dialog options appear

Are you turning off Hunter mode and then turning on the additional dialogues before you talk to the snatchers?

For some reason, whenever i enslave someone, they always get cloned, the original dies whereas the clone gets up, and for some reason, whenever I edit their appearance, they will just go invisible. How do I fix?

Working as intended. Unless you mean the dead one stays there. That's the mechanic tho. It copies and then kills the original. It's supposed to make the original go away tho. If it's not, I dunno.

Changing appearance is always wonky with these "guys." Tip one: Don't try to slm from the console. Never works out well. Use the "To change the appearance" option in the Info tab. Even then tho, good luck. It "works" but is even wonkier. They shouldn't go invisible tho. Get away from your regular settlements. They'll turn hostile towards your captive the whole time you're in that version of looksmenu. Won't kill 'em, but it's a total pain in the ass.

For girls I take regular, like Simone, I made a preset for them and just apply that. Not helpful, I know, but it is what it is. Good luck

One more thing, whenever I change the appearance of one slave, it changes all the slaves that previously has that look. Is there a fix or mod for this, or do I just have to live with it?

Hello, so I don't know if there is a patch out already but I use the animerace mod and the animerace npc replacer for females only and when I try to enslave characters such as giving a raider a collar it gives me an error message that the race is incorrect and I was wondering if there is a patch that enables me to enslave NPCs that use the animerace for their race or if I just have to enslave NPCs that have their race set as default humans. If there is a patch out already could someone point me to where it is?

That's fairly common also. There are only like 6 raider female models in vanilla and they all use the same assets. (Same with the males.) I use Unique NPCs to counter that. Honestly I rarely need or want to change their appearance. Older mod. Looks scary reading about it but it works like a damn charm for me. I don't think I'd play without it.

I seem to recall a conversation about this somewhere in this thread. My memory likes to play tricks on me tho, so I dunno if it's worth wading through all 74 pages of comments on my word alone.

This mod hasn't been touched for a while now. I'm pretty sure that what you got is what you get. If you know any sharp modders that will do you a solid, that's your best bet.

Thanks for telling me, it was worth the try for me to search some of the pages and I found a patch that was up but it was posted in 2021 so I'm going to be cautious with it. Crossing my fingers that it works but I have my doubts. If that patch doesn't work then I wouldn't mind just enslaving the normal human raced NPCs.

Unfortunately the animerace patch did not work, I do not know which version the patch was meant for since I am using the 2nd latest version of the mod which is the 0.7.5 version which I have yet to update. I also have a question about updating from 0.7.5 to 0.7.6 which is will I need a new clean save or can I safely update versions without my save being corrupted? I am not experienced in using editing software such as FO4Edit but if I can make the animerace compatible with Just Business I would make my own patch if I could but I have yet to learn how to use FO4Edit correctly and to make changes like that since the person who posted the patch claimed that it was a quick process to make.

Are the snatchers, who walk around with a bunch of captured slaves, part of this mod?

If so, What do the snatchers do? Are they just decoration? Will they capture slaves that escaped from SS and return them for a price?

I tried interaction with snatchers and their slaves and they all give the idiot NPC "huh?"

I think they're part of The Auction House mod.  At least some of them will buy your slaves if you turn on the JB additional dialogues, if I remember right.

I don't use that mod anymore though in favor of making some vanilla characters buy my slaves, so I can't help much more than that.

Yes but no change

I tried to install the mod, but it won't run, according to Vortex, because the files DLCWorkshop01.esm and DLCWorkshop02.esm are missing, does anyone know how to fix it?

Do you have those files?  They're part of the official DLC.

it seems not, which is strange because in local files there is a file "03" corresponding to that DLC. the only thing I can think of is that having never played the DLC, I have to play for a while until the DLC manifests itself.

It's not a matter of manifesting itself.  If the game won't run because Vortex says you're missing files, then they're not installed properly in your Data folder.

I'm presuming you have a legal copy of the game (it's against forum rules to support piracy) so check to see if you've ever downloaded them, or if they're available for download.

I have the legal copy of the game and DLC via steam, but the files are simply not there, I would say this is a typical case of "It just work's".

You should be able to go to your Steam library then and download the missing files.

I didn't get the "prostitute yourself here" feature to work.

At first it looks promising: They walk up to some NPC and offer their service.

However, the potential client seems to always decline.

Afterwards they walk to a settler who is working a scavenging station, but no dialog initiates.

They just stand there forever next to the working settler.

Is this feature broken in general or only in my load order?

If you look at the "slave info" through the dialogue menu, you'll see that they start off with a prostitution score/skill of 0, same with sex skill.  Just leave them for a while and it will increase and they'll get more customers.  I had one who I didn't check on for several weeks of in-game time, and when I came back, she had thousands of caps that she'd earned, and her "skill level" had gone up considerably.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

But to clear, I don't really care about caps, but about the immersion of having hookers providing services to my settlements.

There's a timer that they work off of. I think the default is 2 min. So they will try to get a "customer" every two minutes. You can adjust this. You can increase/decrease the range they'll look in also.

They should sandbox within a few meters of where you put them to work at tho. Could be they just didn't get a sandbox script after their attempt there. Keep an eye on her. Most likely it's working, just with FO4 quirks being quirky.

I am under the impression that the prostitute only makes one attempt and then gets stuck.

From the feedback here I conclude something is wrong in my current save, which is not that unexpected.

I wanted to start a new playthrough and was testing JB to decide whether I want to use in the new one.
