quest Thief

Hi, been playing through the mod and its really good. But the problem is for some reason Zoe doesn't spawn at Falkreath at the alchemy shop. I have used console to spawn her but the dialog options dont appear.  so I am kinda stuck in falkreath. What should I do ? Thanks

I have the same, it only happens after running FNIS (I loaded without doing this by accident and it worked) so I thought it was the amount of animations but I've removed loads and still getting it.

 

EDIT: Take this back, it is the amount of animations, removing some unused mods that had their own animations finally did the trick

Hey Dogma just wanted to say that this mod is awesome. This is actually the first quest mod in a while that I actually was playing everyday and was anxious of what happens next. The way you scripted it is really good, adding the fact that it's "old school" style of quest completing (no pointers just indications from persons and DIY) makes it even better. You should be hired by Bethesda.

Ok so i assumed i didnt get answered as i was using 9.1, ive gone back and restarted everything with 9.04, once again skipping with all the options that give the most karma. I still CANNOT get Cooli the porter to smuggle me into the city. 

 

WHAT am i doing wrong??

If its nothing, is there a setstage thing i can use to start his quest path cause i refuse to miss out on his path.

Asking him to smuggle you in the city is pointless since he will refuse all the time.

can you link me to the walkthrough? the 2 ones ive seen on page 56 and 76 are just like "ye when youve convinved the porter..."

If you sneaked into the city in the box and agreed to meet with the porter in Madam Petit's, you can be arrested mid-coitus if you have asked at least one person about the Thief beforehand.  This path will result in you being taken to the dungeon in the nude.  The sex scene with the porter is detailed in the side quests section below.

Oh by the dockmaster? Darn, wouldnt have thought to look there since its not on his route. My bad. Cant get the bards in anyway, they walk backwards away from the door lol.

Can't sleep in Lod's bed and trigger sex while resting for burial. I kept my promise to him during first sex scene with him. What did I miss ?

Head down to the docks proper, and you can find the dockmaster either standing around in front of Vittoria Vici's little shop, or sleeping in a loft above it.  The dockmaster will explain that the East Empire Company has been having problems with some local pirates, and will likely sponsor you if you can put a stop to the problem.

 

Right next to the shop, there's a pile of boxes that the porter is moving into the city one-at-a-time.  If you climb into one, you will shortly get to a minigame where you have to keep from sneezing by keeping the slider from hitting either end of the bar: simply mash A and D when it gets close to the sides to change its direction.  If you fail, you lose this path into the city and will have to deal with the pirates, but if you win you end up in the city.

 

If you successfully sneak into the city in the box, you can use any of the dialog options to get rid of the porter, but offering to pay him and then stripping (with at least 39 karma) will give you the option to either have sex with him outside, agree to meet him later, or (with at least 160 karma) both.  In order to get the extended version of the scene, you need to have him accept your offer of collateral on the fourth dialog, meaning that you need to make an offer that he refuses at least one time.  He will accept any offer of gold above about 50 pieces, and any offer of goods with a total value above about 500.

Yes and he agreed if I slept with him. But have no option to sleep in his house.

I was trying the madame scene to get the coin and i noticed that milk mod economy mod, when it is installed with the milkpumps bound in cities, causes issues because of the locations that they are put. Maybe it gives issues to the mod and to other scenes, but in that scene it affects the pathfinding and also the appearence of the location of the scene.

I've been reading that part that u probably weren't updating for a while. The minigame is actually quite easy, you just have to press spacebar everytime the pointer is at the center of the bar. It takes like 3 or 4 hits generally to win it.

In my game, I can get to maybe 90% after hitting it perfectly four times, and it fails before I get a fifth.  Haven't tried the scene in the latest version though.

i know this post is a little old but i came here looking for a fix with a problem i'm having with the same mod, after talking to the captain in riften, the scene freezes after he forces oral and just leaves my character looking up at him, i tried running generate fnis and deinstalling creatures and whatnot, but nothing so far has fixed it.

It's best to uninstall the old versions first.
