Went ahead and got the game anyway. Far too many kinky mods to experiment with to let a few bad server experiences hold me back. Will probably spend a while just exploring on my own, but I'm still hunting for an active slavery server that I actually want to play on. Preferably one where having curves that puts Jessica Rabbit to shame doesn't break immersion too badly.


Is Chains of Hyboria worth a try? Searching for mod info on them just looks up a different server with the same name that doesn't exist anymore. I want to know the mods they use before I try it out, and I can't even find a discord link to the current server.


Cursed Sands and Thrall Wars seem too plain, Soulbound too heavy on RP, and Oasis of Pleasure too focused of females and futas. Sins of Gladiators and Bound Desire both have a better body model, but also seem nearly empty. And while Dark Debauchery sounds great, the steam link goes to Legacy of Darkness now instead, which seems really focused on demonic powers.

As far as mods most servers seem to be getting along fine. Sexiles was busted for a while (One animation being used on the server would cause it to crash.)

 

As for an EU based server? Theres Legacy of Darkness hosted out of France.

Grim Saga RP is a text-based roleplaying server with a heavy focus on a grimdark experience with a setting based on the Hyborian age yet with a blending of low fantasy elements.

 

Our server is first and foremost dedicated to text-based roleplayers and lovers of grimdark stories alike, which defines our settings, ruleset and server philosophy. The Hyborian world is a dangerous place and we aim to replicate that with the added challenge to the environment and the possibility of dark beginnings, journeys and endings to a character’s story. Every action you take, both in character creation and in game will define your experience. Gods and culture will matter greatly, be that in divine rituals or in the forging of alliances. Will you survive and prosper? Or fall victim to the brutality and many horrors of the Exiled Lands.

Much of our staff team is made up of veteran players of the Conan Exiles RP community as both players and staff. We have a large team dedicated to ensuring our players can find and enjoy their time here.

Server features include:
 

  • Rich Lore - Our server lore is set within the Hyborian world, you are a lost soul tossed into the Exiled Lands for one purpose or another. However, we wish to expand on both the game lore and the world’s lore, making it darker, grittier and with a whole host of monsters. Our lore will be inspired by real-world myths, cultures, Warhammer Fantasy, Lovecraft, The Witcher, World of Darkness and many other fictional universes. All with the intent of creating a unique and dangerous feeling roleplaying environment.
     
  • Deep Server Story - Discovered through our robust magic system and Game Master run events, however, a story that is constantly changing through the actions of the characters that find themselves trapped in the Exiled Lands.
     
  • Ritual Magic - Magic is a powerful tool for the would-be sorcerer or religious fanatic, however, magic comes at a price. Want to bring down a plague on a nearby town? Find the right patron and do what he demands and you may taste a flicker of his power. However the gods are cruel, perhaps you will be the first victim of this new plague. Forge your own pact with a demonic creature and attempt to bind it to your will, or risk it taking control of your mortal shell.
     
  • Endless Options - Various creatures and corrupted humans stalk the world of Hyboria. And we aim to allow our players to experience them first hand. You can play as Vampires, Hellspawn, Inpu, Serpentmen, Deep Ones, Beastmen, Half-Giants and many more. Many of these races have been updated or completely reworked to fit the setting and our current season. Human characters will also have the option to spice up their already diverse backgrounds with various sub factions to pick from, be that religious cults or zealous monster hunters and so on). Supernatural Characters number is controlled to maintain RP balance.
     
  • Character Applies, Not Just Player - We want your character to fit in the world of Grim Saga in every aspect — from backstory and name to character stats. Especially Supernatural characters. As such you will need to get your character concept approved by filling out a character sheet and having it approved by Game Masters before you make your way onto the server. We are doing it to maintain the quality and balance on the desired level.
     
  • Players start at level 60 with starting kits.
     
  • Custom Server Mod - Created for immersion, server magic system and adjusting balance/diminishing PVP meta.
     
  • A mix of tabletop RPG options and integrated game mechanics.

Sexiles is pretty much dead and broken now. I can't use any versions without the game crashing. It's a shame since there doesn't seem to be any other good animation mods except for the slavery mod.

Conan Sexiles has been removed from Steam by the author. I just noticed this today while checking through mods to see if some of my core favorites had been updated for the IoS update yet.

 

Seems like a pretty good indication that its not ever going to be updated again, not that being stuck at 3.2.0 and broken for almost two years wasn't evidence enough of that.

Hopefully it's just because of the 61gb update and compatibility issues. I'm hoping that it will be up again once sexiles itself is updated to work with it.

So I feel the urge to go back to Conan Exiles but haven't played very much. I'd love the idea of a like minded community that will use Sexiles when it comes back. Any decent server suggestions? Its hard to tell whats still alive or not.

sexiles broken right now fren, expansion broke lots of things
