could i suggest keeping the old versions up, as yesterday's new version bricked my game, new games and old saves combined

nevermind turns out between the old version i was using and this one it brought the string limit over the tipping point

Warning: it can be a bit buggy, it's better to just turn some of them off. (do you need Riekling & Falmer animations turned on when your fighting Draugrs? i think not)

So far that mod has worked just fine for me - just be aware that you may need to manually go to each SLAL page and hit "register" as SLAL can fail to register all of your pages from the main window if you have a lot of them.  And obviously the limit was there for a reason, so have 750 creature and human animations at your own risk.

How do I definitely get the wolves not to grow in size? the animations are all misaligned, I've updated SLAL, its this mod, I've disabled the CTD startup in sexlab, I've done almost everything, for the wolves to be aligned I set them via console at 0.9 or 0.8,in more nasty critters even though it's not in the MNC Rescale, it's in the standard, and even then it seems they always get bigger than normal

my char player is setscale 1.0

This is more of a More Nasty Critters question, but which animations are misaligned?  The wolf animations in the non-legacy packs should align if you are using the newer versions of MNC.  You can try enabling "even actor height" in Sexlab's options.

 

If you mean the ones from the "legacy" SLAL pack - that's why they are legacy, they were designed around the old wolf nude models that had a different dick angle than dogs, making their animations incompatible despite basically sharing a skeleton.  You can probably get them to align a bit better by selecting "legacy" skins for wolves in Creature Framework, but then you will likely have issues with other animations.   Personally I just make heavy use of manually aligning these animations to get the legacy animations "good enough" as I like a few of them alot, but most of them won't look great if you look too closely at the alignment.

wou, I found a fix that enabled the blessed Sexlab 1.62 sslActorAliasFIX, by default it is always disabled and could not use it, thanks for the tip

Does anyone know where to get the presets for the characters in the screenshots?

That's how the animations are designed - those creatures don't play well in animations, so they just stand idle while the player animates the scene.  If you check the preview .gif files you'll notice the ice wraith itself is never in the shot.

If you mean the floating stuff, make sure you installed the animobject .esp (scroll down on the installer).

Weirdly enough, it is. The only two things I didn't install, was the legacy pack and cum effect objects. However, I shall try to reinstall it, of course, in case something conflicts with them... which I doubt, in all honesty, as this is the only pack that has Ice Wrath animations at all, lol.

Ice Wraith should function as a real creature now. Originally he was only an animobject as wasn't possible to animate, but is real deal now. Of course he only has a a very simple idle animation, but shouldn't be completely still.  Will need a recent version of MNC SLAL, and may need to do a clean registration of animations. Disabling them all, rebuilding sexlab registry, and then enabling animations again.

 I don\t know whether the manual installation I did, or the rebuilding of animation registry (I often do that when I change animation sets) helped, but it did!
