Perhaps. Not MJ's animations, but there are a few that may be aligned to one table and the generic label is used, so the animations play on any table and clip legs or even entire bodies through the center of the table.

The width of the dining tables are all the same as long as the rigs are animated on the correct side it won't matter and should play fine on every one.

As @MaryJane said, it's K69's anims and are aligned to the wrong side. Another "toy" I played with is a 1x1 table top with a 2x1 footprint that is made to be placed inside of other objects... specifically the picnic table, which allows dining table animations to play on the picnic table. Also works on ping pong table with Nraas debug height adjustment. Generally, sims route to the correct end of the table, but on rare occasion, will route to opposite ends. And, K69 anims are the ones that play with sims in the middle of the table. I shelved that project.

With what I made, I used an option in TSRW that allows objects to intersect, so this slides inside with stubs that hang down to click on. Also, Lucas and Clydie have now been making picnic table animations as the code was realized to be "PicnicTable", not "TablePicnic" as I had thought when testing adding that to xml's. So, knowing this, the animations can be added to the older xml's, but many may not feel comfortable doing that. So, I may go back to the project again someday.

Yes it does but I was thinking more along the lines of taking the mausoleum rabbithole and changing the script to City Hall or whatever else now you have something smaller and can place 3 of those one lot and free more space for other things. Or changing a moped to use The Beast script you know just fun stuff.

Heck no! I was simply pointing out that even animations have a direction dictated by the creator just like the objects used by some and there doesn't seem to be a clear cut 'default' direction. When 2 Sims are involved in Woohoo - sometimes moving one forward will move it sideways - it's a crap shoot till you move one and 'see' which way IS forward. At least up and down are always the same :) 

 

Now for square dining tables with only 2 chairs I will 'point' the front of the table towards the center of the room usually and then place the 2 chairs to the sides so the actors have free access - but as you say - depending on the animation there isn't a perfect 'right way' to ensure everything looks/works the best it can.

 

I do use KW 'move' on objects though - to great effect! In those situations I CHANGE the move value - or it would become a VERY tedious process indeed. Holding the ALT key allows one to rotate objects freely of the 45 degree 'snap' setting while in build/buy. Then using KW's move feature allows the players to move things 'where ever they want' free of the grid. I've raised hot tubs and placed curtains on the side to imitate the old 'raised' hot tubs from the Sims 2. I've raised one of the bondage objects to 'sit' on a sawhorse and then surrounded it with other objects so the second Sim wouldn't be standing in air when part of the animation. Sim actors WILL path/walk up into the air to reach things - giving players more freedom to be creative.

Forgetting to reset the KW move value back to default can be a shock when trying to adjust a Sim though. (This value resets upon exit from the game - so as not to worry those new to the feature)

So, just so you all know that I'm still working on stuff! Unfortunately I also have obligations so life is getting a bit in the way atm, but this weekend I can get back to animating again.

I'm trying to make an animation sequence out of my posepack because I got messages and comments with request (one I have already made earlier), but it's proving to be very difficult. It's strange, you would think animations with less motion are actually easier to make but I'm experiencing this isn't true: it's very hard to make it look natural. I can't make him bounce up and down to get some 'flow' because that would be just extremely weird. He's filming, he can't be moving too much. And she's knocked out so she can't be moving too much either. Maybe I'll just drop the phone in the other animations ?

Oh, before anyone gets too excited: the taking off clothes action will not be animated because it's simply impossible and will just look weird. So this animation sequence will be based on the posepack but not exactly the same. 

 

Getting back on working on it this weekend! I'm excited about it myself ?

I wouldn't worry about it - at all. Even the KW feature of clothing 'removal' in any form is the usual 'now you see it, now you don't'.

 

With the popularity of CFNM type porn - making some teasing/creeping animations doesn't need anyone nude....  I've seen nude sims for many MANY years. Yes, they should have no bottoms at least when engaging in coitus, but the need for complete nudity is 'over-rated'. The Japanese have been using clothing as part of the eroticism of porn for a LONG time. CC makers have invested time in making clothing that exposes while being worn.

 

I think you get my drift - I wouldn't worry about it. At All!

What kind of CC objects are you talking about? 

I usually don't animate around CC, only if I use it or really want it in game myself. But who knows, maybe it's something I really like.

They look super great! Your animations are carried out with finesse (details, faces expressions etc), worked perfectly and nothing is sloppy ! I play that game because of the graphisms (even if some can tell they look like ugly alpha graphisms) and it becomes really sexy as hell when I play with animations like this! Thank You ! ??
