Rigging question. Is there a way to import a pre-made rig to a Sim that I ripped from the game? I've tried a few tutorials from Youtube but the rig doesn't seem to be linked to the body.

If the model have the appropriate bones vertex, on the modifier tab while selecting the mesh, create a new armature and link your rig that way.

Hi, I need a little help to choice which vfx would be better for a squirt event, specifically with a sim in this position.

Which vfx would be better? ?

I'm going to try sim_bar_icecube_splash_high ?

yes, it should be it maybe, however the _high suffix is probably only about the height, not the amount of splash. But could be wrong.

I found sim_bar_stir_fail_splash to be particularly good for squirt events but works better with a sim in standing/vertical position.

How to add sound to a sim but without make the override of its mouth? If I add any sound on S4PE, the sim's mouth animation change automatically, how can I "lock" the sim's jaw when I add some sound?

Hi Klas, thanks for the support. I guess I have to add as many clip event censor file for each clip event sound file, and set the timecode of each event censor's file just as the clip event sound timecode :P

you add the censor event directly on the clip itself. The timecode is thre just to mean where the event will start, and its duration. Nothing else. You can only add one censor event per clip. I never managed to add two of them sadly.

U3 or unknown 3 is the duration (in seconds), timecode is when the event will start (in seconds aswell).

Hello, please tell me how to add water to the hot tub. I added the desired event but it is not displayed in the game. I suspect that I need to add a water rig as well. Please tell me how to make it work

      <L n="animation_events_list">

        <U> <!-- [START OF EVENT ENTRY] -->
          <T n="event_type">EFFECT</T>
          <T n="event_start_timecode">0</T>
          <T n="event_end_timecode">999</T>

          <T n="event_target">o</T>
          <T n="effect_name">s40_obj_bathtub_wash</T>
          <T n="effect_joint_name">_bind_water_0</T>

          <U n="dont_run_if">

        </U> <!-- [END OF EVENT ENTRY] -->

It nowhere related to the xml, you animate the water directly from the bathtub rig in blender. Should be a plane thing you can move. In game it will be the water.

 WHATT?!

I know ? I’ve only seen it happen a handful of times with other animations I had in my game for WW. But I just found out that I can’t replicate the issue on my laptop, only my desktop (it’s kinda old), so maybe that’s it ?

So I'm back at this again. Took a break for some health reason. I created a package file but it doesn't show up in game. Where could I have made a mistake?

ChairJackTest2.package 1.66 kB · 1 download S4_7DF2169C_00000000_3312824F22BED4D5.xml 1.55 kB · 1 download

The clip name is wrong in your xml, should be FelixFaust313:PosePack_202204261724568219_set_1

<T n="animation_clip_name">ChairJackTest</T>

should be

<T n="animation_clip_name">FelixFaust313:PosePack_202204261724568219_set_1</T>

since it's how your clip is named.

but I think you should redo your xml completely, it might have a lot of wrong things.

Hi, I'm trying to learn how to animate but I'm having trouble with positioning and keeping legs and hands in place while I move the rest of the body. I found out that you need to use inverse kinematics to lock the limbs in place for this type of effect. So I added some IK chains to my rig but the issue with this is that you can't fine tune the poses because the bones are locked in the IK chain and if you try to disable it the rig snaps back into a completely different position than the one you created with IK enabled.

So my choices are:

A. trying to work with IK and make ugly poses since I can't adjust individual bones

or

B. use regular FK but constantly having to "counter animate" the limbs whenever I make adjustment to the hip and never be able to match the precise location of the previous pose

Both seems like bad options, am I missing something here?

I guess my question is, how do you guys tackle the problem with limbs that move out of position when you try to rotate the hip or bend the spine?

Good morning good people,

I successfully figured out how to import my custom Sim for animations using the instructions provided by @Khlas and @elys19.  However, it seems that the rig control for the  penis isn't attached to my mesh. I've searched through the forum but can't seem to find a way to fix it.  I'd appreciate any assistance.

Thanks in advance.

Open the console command in game while selecting your sim and use

ww.get_hard 50. Save and rip your sim

i could explain why it doesn’t work with the flaccid but it will be just gibberish you will not understand I think

With the last game update (1.88.213.1030) I can't open blender file anymore, when I'm trying to click on Animation, S4S can't see any blender file, I can't load any rig. Someone have the same issue? My blender path should be ok, it is: C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\blender.exe

I'm using Blender 2.70a, maybe this version is not good anymore?
