Does anyone know of a mod to make my character always equip (a specific arrow type, e.g. Ebony Arrows)? When I equip my bow, the game invariably equips the least-damaging arrows I have, i.e. Iron Arrows.

 

At some point in time, I had a mod that did that (I seem to remember it was a feature of one of the heavyweight follower mods), but I've been using Nethers for a long time now and don't want to switch back to AFT or EFF or UFO. Also, "Auto Hide Arrows" does NOT do it despite reports that it does, at least not in my game... And "Auto-Equip Best Arrows" doesn't work at all. Does absolutely nothing.

 

It seems like such a simple concept, I'm actually quite surprised I can't Google up 3 or 4 of them...

The best I've found for that is Mors Arrows Be Gone, which remembers the last ammunition used with each of the last 30 bows/crossbows you've equipped and restores that ammunition when the weapon is re-equipped.

 

The only thing it misses is that, when you equip a new bow/crossbow for the first time, it falls back to the vanilla "equip worst ammo" behavior.  It'd be nice if it instead equipped the last ammo you used which is compatible with the new weapon, but that's only a one-time-per-weapon annoyance rather than potentially coming up every time you switch weapons.

Thank you, Pinky! Yes, I did look at LAFreakshow's mod (the one you linked) but I didn't install it because s/he seems to think there's a better version if all I want to do is... well, here's the quote from the Description page:

 

Note: If you are just looking for a mod that changes the vanilla logic of equipping the worst arrows to equipping the best arrows, you may want to look at other, more lightweight mods first.
 

So I did as suggested and tried two other mods first- I posted their names in my OP. Still, since those are the only ones I found, and they did *nothing,* I guess it's time for me to try LAFreakshow's version. Thanks again for your response.

Well. This sounds suspiciously familiar- and with good reason- I installed it on May 3, 2021. I wasn't finding it in my searches because I was looking for "auto-equip" as a search filter, and of course this mod is named "Unequip." :classic_angry: My dumb ass.

 

Anyway, something must be overriding it, probably Nether's Follower Framework, but I can't find out for sure because it's a dll so neither Vortex nor SSEEdit can detect the conflict (if any). I reinstalled it and we'll see what happens.

The weapon, sleeves, stockings and shoes are from H2135's Halloween Outfit 2020 for Patrons, the outfit's top and bottom with the skirt are from H2135's Halloween Outfit 2019 for Patrons. I.e. they're from the Patreon version of those mods, not the public release ones.

Why do you suspect NFF?  That shouldn't be affecting anything to do with the PC, AFAIK.  Also, I'm using Mors Arrows Be Gone alongside NFF with no problems, and I wouldn't expect Unequip Arrows to work all that differently from Mors.

Ello dear community!

 

I´m looking for some beastiality/animal themed poses for SE, the only ones I found are by BakaFactory and Shocky (which are great <3)

I also found this one mod called "ODEN" (?) on some Japanese webpage, it doesn´t work for SE tho. Consider this to be a request for a conversion (PM me if you need the file idk)

 

Anyway! I´d appreciate if y`all could direct me to some content ?

Thanks to everyone who responded to my "always equip my Ebony Arrows" mod search request. After much investigation, I discovered that I had 2 mods both trying to do the same thing and (apparently) preventing each other from doing anything.

 

After uninstalling Unequip Quiver SE and reinstalling Auto Hide Ammo, I seem to have my "use last-equipped arrows and bolts" functionality back.

I FOUND IT!!!! But glad you got it fixed, I was juuust thinking about it after my char re-equipped bow with iron arrows :( Anyway after some digging its a part of a new bug fix in scrambled bugs https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/43532

EDIT: Just tested it and it works (unequip bow and requip it gets the highest ammo)

Yeah, the problem is, while it does equip best arrows, it doesn't unequip or hide quivers when the bow/xbow is unequipped. So I left it set to False (the default) and I'm using Auto Hide Ammo, which auto-equips the LAST arrows I had equipped (better for me bc I select arrows based on how well the quiver will go with my wardrobe colors). Thanks again.

Silent Horizons is excellent for frost and rain effects. M y favourite ENB.  R.A.S.S. Shader mod can do some of these effects, too.

Hey community, I have a question that I was hoping you guys might have a mod for.

 

I've been on the search for a normal map or potentially a skin texture that is for very thin female characters. I've found a few that have small breasts, and normals for the same, but they typically don't show bone structure eg ribs / defined pelvic bone, which is sort of what I'm looking for. I've only had limited success generating my own with photoshop / blender, and my best go is attached below, but I ran into a lot of seams and oddities thanks to my technical know-how.

 

I'd appreciate it if anyone knows of any such bony normal map.
