Salutations. I'm a lapsed Skyrim player whose last tangle with modded Skyrim was years and years ago. I have finally returned with the intention of modding Skyrim again in a way that's sexy and fun, only to discover there's something like sixty-one thousand mods on Nexus Mods and three thousand mods on LoversLab...and that's the Legendary Edition alone. With full honesty, I don't think that's a volume I can really digest all by myself, hence why I'm here humbly asking for a bit of help. I won't be asking you to recommend everything under the sun; I will do my best to look for things universally considered to be good, whether that's the number of endorsements on Nexus Mods or consensuses on Reddit (not that I would oppose such suggestions here). I will also be providing information on what I'm looking for, so it may be easier for you to recommend mods to me. However, I would very much appreciate diamonds in the rough or underrated alternatives to the aforementioned super-popular mods, as well as good adult mods that I basically have zero familiarity with. I apologize for the trouble, and thank everyone who can help me. x_x

 

I am, on suggestion, running Skyrim Legendary Edition and using Mod Organizer 2; I will be entirely happy to listen to arguments otherwise. I have used mods that require me to manually move files, although I would definitely prefer mods that I can install through a modding program, and I previously used Nexus Mods Manager; I am far, far from experienced or particularly good at modding, but I'm largely capable of reading instructions. I am hoping to find BDSM, non-con, and slavery mods with regards to adult modding, but I'm also hoping to mod the game in a way that makes it enjoyable to play. I'm running an Intel E3-1231 v3 and a GTX 970, with 16 GB of RAM, which as far as I know is pretty much good enough for Skyrim mods, but feel free to take that into consideration.

 

So going into more specifics...

 

• I'm looking for anything that makes Skyrim look better, honestly. Polish and quality control are more important to me than just content alone.
  • With regards to character models, I have a preference for lithe bodies without exaggerated proportions (I'm gynephilic), as well as cute-ish/pretty-ish faces (so relatively Asian-ish, I suppose, although sufficiently natural-looking), and I'm planning on using XP32 and UNP, along with the Citrus head mesh. Also suggested has been "Pretty Face", "Adorable Face", "Fair Skin Complexion", and "Leneyda Skin".
  • I'm also hoping for a mod that makes NPCs look better. Not necessarily to modded player character standards - although that would be great - but at least something nice to look at in the year 2019. "Botox for Skyrim" seems nice at a passing glance.
• I'm also hoping to make the game enjoyable to play, even if without the adult mods.
  • I am entirely receptive to complete gameplay overhauls as well. I'm also fine with modular gameplay mods, as long as it covers relatively wide ground (preferably something that revamps combat or magic or alchemy entirely, instead of downloading a bunch of different mods for extra spells).
  • Difficulty-wise, I wouldn't mind something a bit more difficult, maybe even leaning a bit on the side of realism in terms of combat or whatnot. Preferably not Dark Souls difficulty, but something that's enjoyably and will still keep me on my toes. Immersion mods are also quite nice.
  • I've seen a number of "realistic needs" mods that seem pretty cool, although I don't know which ones are preferred; suggestions here would be welcome.
• And, of course, with regards to the adult mods, I'm leaning in the direction of BDSM, non-con, and slavery mods. This is honestly where I need the most help, because I am jumping into this almost entirely blind. I've seen a few mods through MxR's adult mod videos on YouTube, and if it's any help, the mods that caught my eye include "Slavemarket", "Bad Ends: Executions", "Devious Lore", "Hearthfire Dungeon Addon", "Nymph Girls of Skyrim", "Treasure Hunter Whore", "Skyrim Healer Onean", "Sewerrats", and "Slaver's Retreat".
• I am also receptive to any number of other suggestions that you think would make my experience more enjoyable: New quests, new dungeons, new houses with sex dungeons, new companions, new gameplay systems, etc. Suggestions for special LoversLab mods are especially welcome.

I looked around and it seems that DA doesn't play nice with other mods, including Defeat despite it being designed to work with it. I wouldn't be asking for this if there were post-defeat slavery mods that DID NOT hard-require Devious freaking Devices. I still to this day cannot understand why no one uses Zaz 8.0's built-in restraints and they all just HAVE to go for the extremely bloated and messy-to-set-up pack that, at least for me, causes CTDs more often than not with its associated mods. Every time I have a stable load order, DD plays complete havoc on it, and besides that, a ton of what it has is really superfluous. I never asked for the fancy quadruple-pronged machine-dildo-restraints, black soul gem butt plugs containing the souls of the screaming damned and troll-scrotum skin ball-gags or whatever that come with DD; just for a somewhat realistic 'bandits tie you up like a salami with rope, drag you off to their lair and have their fun with you' situation. I doubt a bandit gang would even HAVE daedric torture implements just kinda lying around, so simple in this case really is best.

 

...ahem. Sorry for the rant. Just got a little bit frustrated there. I'm sure DD makes sense for say, Sanguine's Debauchery or a Molag Bal centered mod since both of those guys pretty much embody sexual deviancy, but I'd assume not everyone in Skyrim happens to be a closet rape-Daedra worshipper... >_>

(on that note, I am rather surprised that no one thought to refurbish Markarth's abandoned house with BDSM and torture devices in its basement, seeing how it's *a shrine to the King of Rape*...)

I agree on that point, DD + related has caused me more trouble than all other mods combined.

 

None of these replace Defeat + DA but if you haven't tried them, they might be enough (and I don't remember if any have DD has a requirement).

 

Submit is your basic rape if you lose in combat mod but at the end the bad guys leave you tied up and naked, vulnerable to anyone that notices you, until you escape (basically a digital dice roll). 

 

Dragonborn in Distress: best feature is the addiction play. When defeated you lose stats, drinking wine or skooma temporarily returns your stats but you become addicted to the substances so that your stats deteriorate without them.  You can also become addicted to sex or devious devices and may involuntarily ask people to fuck you or ask a blacksmith to equip a device. I wish the addiction was it's own mod. You can turn off rape surrender but it still bugs other rape mods.

 

Yet Another Combat Rape is interesting. You have the option of no rape, rape once and done, or endless rape from which you have to escape. Escaping is basically pushing a button which simulates a "roll of the dice" to see if you escape or help arrives. It also has an armor break which means armor gets used up and has to be replaced, a feature I really like although it only seems to work on the PC.

 

I like features of all of them but ultimately went back to Defeat because it was the only mod that works both ways, allowing me to dominate a defeated enemy. I never had any major issues with DA that I remember but it's always a roll of the dice.

I dropped DA awhile ago. Sadly, I too encountered issues with it. Especially in conjunction with Defeat, and Kidnapping (another problem mod I wound up dropping as well)

Seriously. DD is a fucking cancer. It's practically an operating system that lives in a game, that runs on an operating system. Not to mention, you have to dedicate a LOT of goddamned FNIS/ANIM cap space just to use it, and the returns are ... so not worth it. I'd honestly sub to the first patreon I saw that started making slave mods that had a Zaz only version. Or a patreon for someone ripping out DD only functionality in favor of Zaz. I'd love SD+...if it didn't rely on DD. I'd love to install lots of stuff that ties into Simple Slavery .... if they didn't all require DD. DD is not worth it. I mean, I have thought of setting up a whole different instance for MO2 to run a DD centric load...but, the effort to do that just does not seem worth it in the long term.

These days, I'm getting a decent playthrough with Pheremones, Radiant Prostitution, SL Adventures (barely, it has a really poorly done MCM, and some really poorly thought out settings/functionality, IMO), body search, SL Solutions, etc. I have ideas for new things that could be done, but mod making right now for me is in a bit of a holding pattern.

You won't find attractive skin the normal way, skin searches from Follower mods.

These are variants of existing skins, with added details and a mix of different ones.

This seems interesting. I should check to see if it has a SSE version.

AGREED. I don't even normally use Patreon, but I'd seriously throw some money the way of anyone making a genuine effort to do something like this, just because they'd be doing everyone a service by offering a more lightweight alternative to DD for people looking for BDSM/slavery stuff.

I do know there's a mod that does in fact use Zaz furniture to start scenes - Interactive BDSM, I think? - and a couple mods including PAHE and HSH support its functions. But it requires other correctly configured mods to actually use the functions, and those seem scarce.

Might download HSH just to try it, I don't know... it does intrigue me.

If they're your spouse, I believe so. Basically your spouse will search out another if you neglect them for too long. Further Lover's Comfort does something similar, but I don't know if the two place nicely together or not.

Best skin for me is Bijin Skin.

 

For the looks I use Botox and then after I install Bijin (Npc, Warmaindens, Wives), Pandorable and Gman749 with Bijin and Pandorable patched out to avoid conflicts.

Are there any pregnancy mods out there that result in the offspring being the same species as the father? Meaning if you get knocked up by, say, a wolf, could you give girth to a wolf (probably scaled-down) and have it function as a pet/animal follower? I'm enjoying Fertility Mode, but the offspring is always the same race as the mother, so a Wood Elf mother will always give birth to a Wood Elf, a Khajiit would birth a Khajiit, etc. The only ones I know that come close to what I'm looking for is Estrus Chaurus and its few addons.

Has anyone ported HDT Piercing Sets? I've been looking but I can't seem to find any. I tried myself buy I'm too simple I guess. I ended up modifying a couple of the parts in Outfit Studio but I'm sure there's a better way to do it. I'm looking for a bodyslide conversion to SSE for CBBE as the ones I've tried don't work without heavy modification...

So I have a question and I have to apologize for asking it here instead of support. I just respect the knowledge that is in this room/topic that much. So setup new game all mods loaded. Start skyrim and it starts fine.  Go into MCM configure all menus and options saving jsons when I can. I have alot of LLMods loaded...sd, dd, Laura,  etc. Still fine save game exit but then save game won't load. Can start another new game and do the whole thing all over. Is it possible that the jsons I'm creating from within MCM to corrupt a save file and cause CTDs. When I load the save skyrim comes up.... Load screen and then CTD. This is very beginning at Mara statue Live Another Life

I have tried several but I keep coming back to Leyenda Skin. It has UNP and CBBE versions, supports 3D vaginas, has an anus, and has installation options for glossy and dry skin, with and without scars and moles, and pubic hair options as well. I have used it in Oldrim and SSE. I have also tried a couple of others but always soon returned to Leyenda Skin. Maybe it's just what I'm used to after so many years of using it, I don't know. But I really like it.

 

Any skin mod you install as your default will affect the Player Character, (almost?) all vanilla females* and many mod-added females as well. For those mod-added females that have their own dedicated bodies and skins, you can easily switch them to use the defaults by simply copying the relevant files into their body subfolders. If you want your player character to be the only one using (whichever) body meshes and textures, you will need to install a "Player Unique" mod, most of which work by creating a unique Player Race which can use unique bodies, faces, etc.

 

*I said "almost? all" because I'm not sure whether or not the most unique vanilla NPC in the game, Serana, uses the default female body or not- one of the first mods I install for every playthrough is Seranaholic, which changes virtually everything about her appearance, and I no longer remember what her defaults are.

The only thing unique about Serana is her hair style, everything else is from the base game.
