Bad Dog Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Bad Dog's Skimpy Clothes View File Provides revealing clothes and armor for Skyrim's men, covering all clothing and armor for Skyrim and the DLCs (when stacked with the other revealing armors below).Ā Ā SSE VERSION HERE Ā In addition, there are ESPs for Beyond Skyrim Reach and Bruma. Only enable them if you have those mods. Neither are complete yet.Ā Ā This mod is intended to be stacked with the other revealing armor mods below. Ā Screenshots were taken with my Yiffy mod. This works for humans as well ofc. Ā Best used with the other SOS revealing armor mods (in this order): Schlongs of SkyrimĀ (required) - Any other files mods that change clothing or armor - SOS - Revealing Armors for Schlongs of Skyrim SOS - Male Vanila Armor Cloths Conversion SOS - DLC2 Dragonborn Conversion Custom Bad Dog Skimpy Clothes SE - Enable BDSkimpyClothes.esp always BDBrumaSkimpy.espĀ for Beyond Skyrim - Bruma BDReachSkimpy.esp forĀ Beyond Reach Bad Dog Skimpy USLEEP Patch - download and install if usingĀ Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch Ā All vanilla and DLC clothes and armors have now been flagged with the "revealing" tag so you shouldn't encounter NPCs with holes in their crotch. This means that there's now an override for every armor in the game... Ā Compatibility with other armor mods:Ā Limited. If you load the skimpy armors last you should have a game that works but for some armors you'll lose the higher-quality textures.Ā Ā Submitter Bad Dog Submitted 09/17/2016 Category Armor & Clothing Requires Special Edition Compatible 2
Chosen Clue Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 The hammerfell garb is bugged around the leg and arm seams, but you know this, yes? Ā Also, I see that enabling blending for the alpha property in nif files is what causes issues with lighting. I'm glad you found a fix for that, even if you didn't mean to. I guess that half opacity in skyrim was never meant to be. Ā And just one more thing: I noticed that you used the original mesh for the Hammerfell Garb, just added an alpha property to it and changed the textures so that parts of the armor are cut off, right? Ā Wouldn't it be better to edit the armor itself so that the vertices are gone? It'd save some performance. And you could edit the insides of the mesh to be double sided. Ā And it'd be texture replacer friendly if you kept a similar UV!
Bad Dog Posted September 18, 2016 Author Posted September 18, 2016 Yes, Hammerfel is the first I did and I took a short cut. Not sure how it's "bugged" tho. And I'm not seeing the lighting problems, but maybe I'm not in the right situations for it to show up. I'll likely circle back and do a better job with it, anyway.
narses03 Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 i guess this is a replacer right? Ā is it possible to get a non-replacer version? i don't want to see all the game-chars skimpy all the time (myself included). only sometimes, or for spezific chars or for spezific playthroughts. would be very kind of you. Ā but it doesent matter if you can/will make a non-replacer version or not, the outfits are looking quite good so far. Ā PS.: there will be clothes AND armor right? 2
Chosen Clue Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Yes, Hammerfel is the first I did and I took a short cut. Not sure how it's "bugged" tho. And I'm not seeing the lighting problems, but maybe I'm not in the right situations for it to show up. I'll likely circle back and do a better job with it, anyway. Ā Ā See that the arms are not connected to the hands? And the legs to the feet? Ā It should be just as simple as replacing the body mesh with the right one. Ā And there are no lighting problems because the "Enable Blending" in the NiAlphaProperties flags node and having semitransparent alphas is what causes the bug. You didn't enable it because you only used 1 bit alpha layers to cut off parts of the mesh. Which is good btw. Ā Ā
Bad Dog Posted September 19, 2016 Author Posted September 19, 2016 Yeah, the sleeves were just what I could do with the texture. The gap bugs me... there's something about bodies I don't get yet.Ā
Wyvern65 Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Very minor: The Radiant Raiment Fine Clothes should be flagged as revealing. You only wear them briefly if you do the quest for Taarie, but they use the Fine Clothes model and without the SOSRevealing keyword they have a hole.
Numerals Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Oh hey, an SOS clothing mod. Haven't seen one of these in ages. Will keep an eye out for future updates.
Goose2 Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Nice Man, really looking forward to this. Thanks a lot fot the effort.
wardrake Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Wondering, will this be male only or affect females too ?
Kuroyami Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Wondering, will this be male only or affect females too ? Ā For the meshes this mod changes, it only effects males. But just like Aoki's original mod, any armor that has the revealing keyword(or you've set it as revealing in SOS' MCM menu), will effect the female version of the armor - whether you have a skimpy female armor mod installed or not. However, if you have no SOS plugins that support females, then nothing extra will show on them.Ā
Bad Dog Posted October 26, 2016 Author Posted October 26, 2016 Only planning for the guys. There are lots of skimpy female armors and clothes. If there's something particular you'd like to see, let me know.
Kuroyami Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Forgot to post this before, but the Black/Necromancer robes seems to have an issue, other than not having the revealing keyword: Ā Ā Though it is more with the boots being cut off, at least when the robes are worn. It could be a problem with the load order, though I do have Aoki's mod before this one in the Mod list, though I'm not sure about the plugin list.Ā Ā As for suggestions... Ā -The Archmage robes without the shawl - I know this would be doing exactly what Aoki did, but there is the fact that no mod removes the shawl from the male model. At least not any I've found.Ā Ā Ā
Bad Dog Posted October 27, 2016 Author Posted October 27, 2016 K, thanks for the info. There's something with body parts I don't really understand and I know I'm getting wrong. It's so that different boots can cover more or less of the leg, even though the leg is a different mesh from the boot. I'll sit down and figure out what's going on.
karlpaws Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 I'll throw this in but it might just be tied to the same problem other outfits have as mentioned (I haven't gone looking for Hammerfall Reguards, for example) Ā The brown fine robes (that I saw on Falk Firebeard and Maven Blackbriar, or the blue one on Brinjolf ) have the revealing flag according to the SOS MCM menu but there is a gaping hole where the schlong should be. For some reason if I use the "Strip" hotkey from The Manipulator mod and remove the clothing and then re-equip it, the schlong does show up. Ā The other noble robes that Erikur wears behaves just fine. Ā If you don't know which I'm talking about I can take screenshots.Ā It might also just be based on my SOS install as I haven't checked for an update latey.
Bad Dog Posted October 28, 2016 Author Posted October 28, 2016 I know which robes those are. They're working okay in my game. Check whether the npc has a schlong assigned at all.
Jexsam Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Hm... Ā not something I'd use often, but I certainly see potential applications for this. Ā The vampire armor in particular would go quite well with an idea I've been kicking around a while... Ā Ā The Expert robes would look kinda cool given this treatment, now that I think about it. Ā Ā
Bad Dog Posted November 26, 2016 Author Posted November 26, 2016 The mage robes were given a pretty decent treatment by "SOS - Male Vanila Armor Cloths Conversion", I think it is. I'm focusing on outfits that haven't been sexified already.
Dransvitry Medici Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 I found this really surprisingly comprehensive armor replacer for unp females that lets you pick and choose armors from different packs all of which are skimpy or rather visually appealing to some degree should i post here it works well with yiffy age seeing as its fitting for males to trot about with their schlongs out
