Nice to see the Catholic church is continuing its two-millenia long tradition of political manoeuvring. You should have said Pope J. Wellington Wimpy.

As someone who's never had the chance to play it, is the game good in spite of the bugs or do they add to its charm? VERY!! I would go so far as to say its superior to FO3, FO4 and FO76 COMBINED. I know some people avoid the Nexus here if they can help it but there are quite a number of good mods that help stabilize New Vegas to a stage that puts it above nearly all of Bethesda's current works. Here's a few I usually use to make the game more stable and playable despite the bugs and glitches:  https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/51664 The Yukichigai Unofficial Patch or YUP for short is a must for stabilizing the number of issues the bas game has in terms of not only performance but blatant glitches Obsidian to their credit seemed to forget.  https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/72541 ShowOff xNVSE For new functions and engine level tweaks  https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/89069 Performance of the Titans. Improves game stability and gets rid of unnecessary and sometimes hidden geometry from major areas in the base game AND the DLC's.  https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/53635NVAC - New Vegas Anti-Crash. Introduces structured exception handling to cut down on game crashes.  https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/68714 FNV Mod Limit Fix. The base game had a nasty habit of limiting the amount of mods you could use to stabilize the game.  https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/66927 JohnnyGuitar NVSE - Plugin extender for NVSE adds some additional script functions and engine bug fixes.   Those are just a few to name off. They help IMMENSELY with stabilizing the base game. As for XBox users I'm afraid there's little alternative aside from PC. 1
Count Chocula Posted May 10, 2025 Posted May 10, 2025 Notwithstanding that I think the guy behind Tale of Two Wastelands comes across like an arrogant dick, his New Vegas mod list Viva New Vegas is where I would (and in fact do) start for adding mods to New Vegas. And if Two Wastelands catches the eye (ouch, my eye!), he's got a mod list for that, too. As part of the whole TTW install process. 1
