Eh. My geography is rusty. Could I get a hint?

It spans more than one time zone (which leaves out China, aside from the whole "U" thing).

You didn't see me mention any names, did you? I was born during the day, but not yesterday.

Okay fair. Is it the United States by chance?

One of the top three nations in mainland North America, no doubt.

Oh, oh, oh.  You must mean United Mexican States.  (That's the official title, as of the constitution of 1824.)  POKE!  (Yeah, I know.)

Yeah. I kinda half figured United States was too generic a name. I know there are at least two maybe three countries that consist of states. Not to include the states of matter because that is a different subject entirely unless you’re talking about solids in which case we’re absolutely talking about the same thing. Where was I going with this?

There are probably quite a few nations made up of states, in addition to the U.S. and Mexico. India, for example, and Australia.

And here you go, the 14 nations, including the U.S., that are made up of states. https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/what-countries-have-states

We can only afford one time zone.

You sure? The wiki says you got 9.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_time_zones_by_country

The Pitcairn Islands are nowhere near as far to the east as I thought. I was surprised to see they are UTC -08:00 (same as the west coast of North America).

Re: the photo, aren't Charles and Camilla married? Do the monarchs of Great Britain not wear wedding rings? Is this a really old photo from before he married Camilla? Did he take it off to avoid a cacophonous carrot catastrophe. Donald Sutherland and Sarah Jessica Parker seem to be enjoying themselves.

Well it looks like he is wearing a ring. If that isn't it then I don't know enough celebrity gossip to answer your question.

That's not his wedding finger. Even if the image has been reversed (which we can see is not the case), it's not his wedding finger.

It's a conspiracy?

That would seem to be the most logical. He and Camilla are not really married. Diana Spencer is still alive and married to Charles.

I was reading an article about some guy who broke a record in a chili eating contest and the article went on to mention that if you eat a Carolina Reaper Pepper and you aren’t used to eating spicy stuff you’ll experience pain. Well no shit Sherlock.

It’s interesting how being cute is an actual survival strategy in some animal species. Like, I can’t imagine pandas and koalas still being around if humans didn’t think they were cute.

A strategy presupposes the ability to plan for the future. How do you know that the Chinese and the Himalayas and the Australian aborigines think that the two pandas and the koala are cute. Typically, humans only hunt to extinction those animals which pose a threat.
