Hee.. just realized I fixed something else by being mean to it. Now it begs the question "Should I just be mean to everything?". ?

The size of your success is measured by the strength of your desire; the size of your dream; and how you handle disappointment along the way.

It is especially interesting when the person who is sitting in the waiting room is trained to listen to other people (I took many classes in observing behavior when I thought I might become a psychiatrist a long time ago).   It is hard to turn off "listening" so basically I agree with you that people share way too much.  However, I can also say that people's lives are......pretty boring.

What really broke me is when they called him CIA Agent Mark Zuckerberg. At best he'd be partnered with the CIA but then I realized this is the Onion we're talking about. Totally got me there.

Anyway I blame English papers for teaching us this behavior. The papers ask "Where do you see yourself in 20 years?" How bout mind your own fucking business! Then again it is only preparing you for the stupid amount of paperwork you have to do as an adult.

did you know that in terms of unbirthing that sharks are the most dragon compatible? the pointed shape of there heads makes them easier to insert, and the dermal denticles of there skin that would normally help them to move forward in water will insure that they can't back out once they are in, any movement they make will only cause them to move deeper within to the dragoness'es womb.

FYI:

Associated Press   DAVID A. LIEB and GEOFF MULVIHILL

A North Carolina law will require pornographic website operators to confirm viewers are at least 18 years old by using a commercially available database. The law lets parents sue companies if their children were allowed to access the pornography.

Another new Illinois law will allow lawsuits from victims of deepfake pornography, in which videos or images are manipulated without their consent.

But only if at least one parent is present as well. I wouldn't let a child watch any porn on its own.

Great. More reasons for parents not to care what their children do on the internet.

Anytime "Lawyers" get a lawsuit window it is overused most of the time.

I agree that if young people were more "exposed" if you will, to Sex and their bodies, it wouldn't be something "Secreted away" or looked for in an Illicit manner.

Kinda like Marijuana use was sought after and hidden from most parents in the 1960's.

Education is the key factor, not use, abuse, or exploitation.

These "Control" laws that govern what one can and cannot do with their own bodies are quite ridiculous.*

* I realize I am getting very close to "Political" speak, Lets all not continue that line of thinking or Communicating it.  Apologies to the Staff, I just Had to say it.

This is not what child pornography means people and if it was a lot more parents would be arrested for their gross negligence. (Actual child pornography is not okay either FYI.) If you don't want your kids to watch something don't let them watch it. At this point I'm actually considering having Carl's Jr raise the future generation since many parents are that incompetent.

That said people can fight back, protest at the local government building and have them rescind the law at least until the next stupid thing comes along. I'd say things will get better but:

And here's a holiday that actually matters, unlike last week.  Happy New Year!  I really hope to see some improvements in 2024.  Otherwise, I'm gonna go fucking insane.

Whether things get Improved depends on which side of the fence you're on.  As you know the Grass Is Always Greener on the Other Side of the Fence.

:P

Actually that is the pronunciation of the phrase Happy New Year when one is slightly inebriated or very inebriated.    Hap-pee new year and yes there is a pause however slight between hap & pee just for effect. It's something I saw when I was young, I believe from the movie Showboat, Where Joe is sauced and keeps saying Hap-pee new year. Besides Agnes Moorehead was a very talented lady.

I was wrong to think the past was any better than now. People have always been depraved/cruel pieces of shit. The difference is it didn't ever come to the forefront like it does now with social media. But I still hope everyone isn't too quick to judge. There are still a lot of decent people out there if you give them a chance.
